Observation was made on the changes of exfoliative tongue cells before and after treatment in 49 cases of massive and dribbling ulterine bleeding. Meanwhile, the mature index of vaginal exfoliative cells was also e-valuated. Results showed that all the exfoliative cells from both were regulated by female sex hormQne with synchronous changing rules.

Objective To study the synthesis of ?1,3galactosyltransferase gene in porcine embryonic fibroblast.Methods The transcription and translation of ?1,3galactosyltransferase gene were identified in porcine embryonic fibroblast by RT-PCR and Western blot.Results It was identified that there was the expression of ?1,3 galactosyltransferase gene in the cultured porcine embryonic fibroblasts.Conclusion ?1,3 galactosyltransferase gene can be synthesized in porcine embryonic fibroblast. RT-PCR and Western blot can be applied to identify the expression of ?1,3 galactosyltransferase gene in the porcine embryonic fibroblast.

Objective To investigate the surgical method and clinical curative results of acetabulum top compression fractures with sea gull sign. Methods Data of 14 patients who had acetabulum top compression fractures with sea gull sign were retrospectively analyzed and were accepted surgical therapy and followed up. There were 5 females and 9 males, aged from 28 to 71 years (average, 49.9 years). The pre-operative time was from 4 to 14 days (average, 9 days). Letournel-Judet fracture classifica-tion:eight cases for the anterior column+posterior semi-transverse, six cases for a simple anterior column. Three patients with lum-bar compression fracture, two patients with tibial plateau fracture, one patient with multiple rib fractures. All patients were accept-ed open reduction and bone graft and internal fixation through ilioinguinal approach or ilioinguinal approach+Kocher-Langenbeck approach. The quality of fracture reduction was assessed according to the Matta reduction criterion after operation. The hip func-tion was evaluated according to Matta. Results 14 patients were followed up from 6 to 60 months (average, 36 months). All pa-tients reached bone healing;healing time was from 3 months to 4 months (average, 3.4 months). According to the Matta reset stan-dard after operation, there were 6 excellent cases, 5 good cases, 2 fair cases, 1 poor case, the excellent and good rate was 78.5%(11/14). The Matta was from 10 to 18 scores (average, 16.4 scores), 5 excellent cases, 5 good cases, 3 fair cases, 1 poor case, the ex-cellent and good rate was 71.4%(10/14). Traumatic arthritis occurred in 3 patients. Pain was serious in two patients and disap-peared after total hip joint replacement. Pain was mild for one patient and disappeared after accepted non steroidal painkiller. One patient had heterotopic ossification after operation, which was not treatmented because of no obvious symptom. Conclusion The appropriate operation time of acetabular roof compression fracture with sea gull sign was from 5 to 10 days after fracture, which was no more than two weeks had best. Through ilioinguinal approach or ilioinguinal approach+Kocher-Langenbeck approach, the articular surface could be reduced excellent and got sufficient bone graft. The clinical efficacy was satisfactory after operation.

To summarize Professor LIU Feng-bin's clinical experience and theoretical thoughts on chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG), the study group designed a retrospective study on his case series and expert interview. First of all, the data of CAG patients treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine between 2009 and 2013, e. g. herbs, diseases, syndrome type, prescription amount and number of herbs, was collected and processed. The statistical description and binary logistic regression were used to determined the syndrome type, initial basic remedy and modification. During the statistics, a complete and sub-group analysis was performed simultaneously. After the expert interview, the syndrome type and medication were finalized. As a result, a total of 228 CAG patients aged at (50.30 ± 10.18) were collected, including 151 males (66.23%). Of them, the TCM diagnosis and syndrome type were extracted from the information of 157 patients, including 115 cases with gastric stuffiness, 23 cases with gastric pain, 19 missing cases, 2 cases with spleen-stomach weakness syndrome, 57 cases with spleen deficiency and dampness-heat syndrome, 18 cases with spleen-stomach disharmony syndrome, 23 cases with syndrome of liver depression syndrome, 21 cases with liver qi invading stomach syndrome and 26 qi and yin deficiency syndrome, respectively. All of the 228 patients used totally 104 herbs, while the subgroups with 157 patients used 94 herbs. The most frequently used 15 herbs used in each groups were analyzed to determine the initial basic remedy and modification. Subsequently, based on the information of the sub-groups with 157 patients, with the syndrome type as the dependent variable, the logistic regression analysis was made on the most frequently used 32 herbs, in order to determined the modification in herbs for different syndrome types. After experts reviewed and modified, they believed the main causes of CAG were dietary irregularities, moodiness and weak constitution; the pathogenesis of CAG was spleen deficiency with qi stagnation, heat depression and blood stasis in the stomach meridian. The above six syndrome types and 12 herbs were determined, including Pseudostellariae Radix, Poria, Atractylodismacrocephalae Rhizoma, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus, Sepiae Endoconcha, Arecae Pericarpium, Aurantii Fructus, Perillae Caulis, Herba Hedyotis Diffusae, Scutellariae Barbatae Herba, Curcumae Rhizoma. This study summarized Professor LIU Feng-bin's clinical experience and theoretical thoughts of chronic atrophic gastritis based on clinical practice data and expert interview, with a rigorous design and good scientificity and practicability.

Viral hepatitis is clinical multiple strong infectious disease, to know characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine clinical use in patients with viral hepatitis, the research object of this study is 41 180 cases of hospitalized patients with viral hepatitis in hospital information system from 17 grade A hospitals, using frequency statistics and association rules method to analyze the traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine clinical use information, the drug kinds analysis results: western medicine of reduced glutathione tablets use frequency is highest, 14 079 cases (34.61%), traditional Chinese medicine of diammonium glycyrrhizinateuse frequency is highest, 14 058 cases (34.56%); traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine drug combination in diammonium glycyrrhizinate combined with reduced glutathione tabletsuse frequency is highest, 8 607 cases (25.09%). The mechanism of drug classification results :both traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine are the sort of educed enzyme medicine that has the highest percentage of drug use, traditional Chinese medicine 10 983 cases (27.01%), western medicine, 9 595 cases (23.59%); traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine combination in a kind of medicine to clear heat and promote diuresis combined with educed enzyme drug use frequency is highest, 5 621 cases (13.82%). Through the analysis above, combine traditional Chinese and western medicine therapy for the treatment of viral hepatitis should be given priority. OBJECTIVETo study the clinical effect of the Gartland III humerus supracondylar fractures in children by manipulative reduction and Kirschner wire percataneous internal fixation.

METHODSFrom July 2010 and July 2013, 60 patients with Gartland III humerus supracondylar fracture were selected and divided into treatment group and control group. In the treatment group 32 patients were treated with traditional bone setting tetradeca-manipulative reduction and percataneous Kirschner wire internal fixation,included 18 males and 14 females with an average age of (7.8 +/- 2.7) years old ranging from 5 to 11; in the control group 28 patients were treated with open reduction and Kirschner wire internal fixation,included 16 males and 12 females with an average age of (7.2 +/- 3.0) years old ranging from 4 to 12. The motion range of the elbow joint,the time of fracture clinical healing, and the effect after 6 months of Flynm clinical functional assessment standards were observed and compared.

RESULTSThe average fracture healing time of the control group (5.01 +/- 0.43) weeks was longer than that of the treatment group (4.29 +/- 0.29) weeks (t = 7.49, P = 0.00). At 6 months after treatment,the elbow motion range of the treatment group (146.02 +/- 2.28) was more than that of the control group (140.76 +/- 4.42) (t = -5.67, P = 0.00). At 6 months after treatment, according to Flynn evaluation, in the control group,there were 7 cases as excellent, 16 as good, 4 fair, 1 poor; in the treatment group, excellent in 21, good in 9, fair in 2 (U = 3.09, P = 0.002).

CONCLUSIONManipulative reduction and Kirschner wire percataneous internal fixation for treatment of children's Gartland III humerus condyle fractures can shorten fracture clinical healing time and the clinical curative effect is better.

BACKGROUND:Kienb?ck disease lacks of suitable animal models, which are similar to the pathological process of avascular necrosis of human lunate bone.
OBJECTIVE:To establish a new animal model of Kienb?ck disease using medical TH adhesive embolism and to explore the rationality of model establishment.
METHODS:A total of 30 healthy adult New Zealand rabbits, male or female, were selected. Using self-control method, the rabbits were randomly assigned to experimental sides and control sides. By dril ing in the center of the lunate bone, 0.2 mL of medical TH glue was injected three times. An equal volume of physiological saline was injected into the center of the lunate bone on the control side. X-ray examination, general observation, Micro-CT measurement of bone, and tissue pathology detection were conducted at 4, 8 and 12 weeks.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Gross specimen, X-ray and histological results showed that ischemic necrosis of the lunate bone on the experimental side was visible at 8 weeks after model induction. The ischemic necrosis of the lunate bone became more typical at 12 weeks. Among the Micro-CT microscopic parameters of trabecular bone, trabecular bone density parameters bone volume fraction and the number of trabecular bone were significantly lower on the experimental side than those on the control side (P<0.05). Spatial parameters of trabecular bone significantly increased. Trabecular separation and structure model index on the experimental side were significantly greater than those on the control side. Results suggested that ischemic necrosis of the lunate bone appeared on the experimental side at 8 weeks after injection of medical TH glue. Rabbit models of ischemic necrosis of the lunate bone can be established at 12 weeks. Thus, alterations, which were similar to ischemic necrosis of human lunate bone, appeared, such as blood transportation damage in the lunate bone, trabecular bone fracture, and empty lacuna, when surrounding tissues were not obviously injured.
