Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1985;21(5):802-811
We had a retrospective study for taumatic fracture of spines with simple X-ray and CT. During the period of 2years from June 1983, the radiological and clinical evaluation had been made on 36 patients suffered from traumatic fracture of spines which were confiremd by the radilgocial examination. The results were as follows; 1.Among 36 patients, single spinal injury was 26 cases(72.2%), multiple level injuries was 10 cases(27.7%). 2. Levelof spinal injuries were as follows; Most frequent site was thoracolumbar junction (T11-L2) in 19 cases(52.7%), andlower cervical spine(C3-C7) in 9 cases(25%). 3. Simple fracture was in 15 cases(41.6%), burst fractures was in 21cases(58%). Neurologic symptoms were appeared in 11 cases(52%) in 21 cases of burst fractures. 4. Manifestationsof spinal canal narrowing: 2 of 15 cases in simple fracture, all of 21 cases of burst fractures, and we were foundexactly posterior element fractures with CT, which were difficult to detect with simple X-ray film. 5. Multiplanar reconstruction images were more favorable to detect the distraction of facet joint, fracture through the vertebralendplate, subluxation and kyphosis, which were difficult to detect with axial CT images.

Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 1992;33(3):203-208
We evaluated sex and age distribution, cause of death, death to enucleation time and contamination and viral (HBs Ag) infection of 211 donor eyes which were obtained from Central Eye Bank at St. Mary's Hospital from April 1, 1990 to September 30, 1991. 1. In sex and age distribution, 112 (53.1 %) donors were male, and 121 (57.3%) donors were above 61 years of age. The age group from 71 to 80 years was the most common (47 donors; 22.3%). 2. The most common cause of death was respiratory disease (75 donors; 35.6%), and then circulatory disease (53 donors; 25.1 %), tumor (35 donors; 16.6%) and infectious disease ( 29 donors; 13.7%). 3. 197 (93.4%) donor eyes were required within 6 hours from death to enucleation. 4. The conjunctival and limbal cultures of 211 donor eyes which were irrigated by 0.3% gentamicin eyedrop solution after extraction were positive in 56 eyes (26.5%). 5. The most prevailing cultured organism was Staphylococcus aureus (14 eyes; 25.0%). 6. Hepatitis B surface antigen in aqueous humor of all donor eyes was negative.

Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 1971;12(4):199-202
Aniridia or iridremis is a Clinical term denoting absence of the iris in whole or in part. Actually, total absence has not been reported, as there has been rudimentary iris tissue in all cases reported in the literature. Because of its extra ordinary propensities as a dominant characteristic, occasionally an irregular dominant, and because of its stricking appearance which facilitates investigation, it has received extensive study by geneticists. Indeed, so interesting are its hereditary and pathologic aspects that these have received for more attention that have therapeutic measures for aniridic cases. I have experienced a case of aniridic family, a 40 years old women and her two sons, without other disturbances during their life saving, except poor vision, which was not significant of in correction for visual acuity.
