In comparison with the American Society of Hematology (ASH) annual meeting last year,more studies of hematologic malignancies using next generation sequencing (NGS) are published in the 56th ASH meeting this year.NGS was mainly used in the diagnosis and classification,risk stratification,MRD detection,clonal evolution,prognosis and therapy guidance.This short report will address the application of NGS in the study of hematologic malignancies by summarizing several representative publications from the 56th ASH meeting.

At the 58th American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting,there were many reports on clonal evolution related with blood disease.Gene mutation and clonal evolution after treatment of azacitidine (AZA) in myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) were summarized to explore the relationship between clonal evolution and treatment response and clinical process in MDS,and to provide reference for clinical treatment decision.

Objective To explore the polysomnography(PSG) characteristice of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OS-AHS) and primary snoring(PS) in children and clinical value of PSG in children with sleep disorders. Methods We analyzed 74 children with OSAHS and 62 with PS, every patient being monitored with PSG for 7 hours at night for 16 parameters, including apnea hypopnea index(AHI), periodic leg movement index(PLMI),and the lowest oxygen saturation(LSaQ2) etc. The parameters of the 2 groups were comparaed. Objective To compare the control effect on postoperative GER disease between tubular EC stomach esophagus anastomosis and the traditional full stomach esophagus anastomosis.Methods From September 2010 to October 2015 in Bozhou People's Hospital,85 patients diagnosed with esophageal cancer undergoing elective resection were randomly divided into a tubular stomach EC group (45 cases) and total gastrectomy group (40 cases),two patients underwent esophageal resection,wherein the tubular stomach set of rows of tubular esophagus stomach anastomosis,total gastrectomy group underwent conventional full stomach esophagus anastomosis.After the surgery until the patient to return to normal gastrointestinal function uses dynamic monitor its pH 24h esophageal pH monitoring chamber,the other respectively after 1 March using RDQ Scale GER-related symptoms in patients with score,at the same time Statistics after 1 March of the occurrence of GER.Results There were no deaths occurred,and no occurrence of postoperative anastomotic fistula and thoracic gastric emptying dysfunction,etc;the two groups were almost reached full monitoring 24 h,and between groups while monitoring the total time,Li position monitoring time,there was no significant supine monitoring time (P＞0.05);24 h reflux episodes long tubular gastric reflux group and significantly less than the number of total gastrectomy group,the longest duration of reflux and pH value ＜4.00 The cumulative time was significantly shorter in total gastrectomy group,DeMeester scores were significantly lower than the total gastrectomy group,between groups were statistically significant (P＜0.01);postoperative gastric tube 1,March RDQ score and incidence of GER significantly lower than the total gastrectomy group,between groups were statistically significant (P＜0.01 or P＜0.05).Conclusion Tubular stomach esophagus anastomosis compared with conventional full stomach esophagus anastomosis resection of esophageal cancer has a more ideal GER disease control effect,and can provide a reference for the choice of nastomosis ways for patients with esophageal cancer surgery.

A number of reports have appeared implicating neurotoxicity of local anesthetics as a possible cause of neurologic complications after spinal anesthesia. Transient neurologic syndrome is one of neurologic complications. This article reviews the etiology, occurred mechanism, clinical symptoms, risk factors, prevention and treatment of transient neurologic syndrome.

OBJECTIVETo study the clinicopathologic features of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)-related lymphadenopathy and to elucidate the salient features helpful in achieving a correct pathologic differentiated diagnosis.

METHODSEighteen cases of AIDS-related lymphadenopathy were retrieved from the files of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from 2001 to 2004. Histochemical stains, including periodic acid-Schiff, acid-fast, Giemsa, Grocott stains and immunohistochemistry (EnVision method), were used to detect the presence of pathogens in tissue sections and classify them.

RESULTSFifteen of the 18 cases (83%) were stage 4 (i.e. follicular and lymphocytic depletion). Twelve cases were co-infected with Penicillium marneffei and 4 other cases with Mycobacterium, and no pathogen was found in 1. The remaining patient was complicated with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

CONCLUSIONSWhen presented in early stages, AIDS-related lymphadenopathy may be overlooked, especially in routine pathology practice. Awareness of the entity in patients with persistent fever and generalized lymphadenopathy is thus crucial. Florid infection with Penicillium marneffei is also considered as an important predictor for underlying AIDS. Thorough understanding of morphologic features of AIDS-related lymphadenopathy, including possible co-infection, is essential in arriving at the correct diagnosis.

By functional plates,16 strains which can produce?-mannana-se were isolated frnm 28 Bacillus spp.Using a pair of degenerated primers,the conserved fragments of?-mannanase gene from the selected strains were amplified by PCR.The obtained nucleotide fragments were sequenced and compared with the homologous?-mannanase genes in GenBank and a phylogenetic tree was generated.Comparing to the genes coding?-mannanase published,the cloned nucleotide fragments show the highest sequence identity between 62% and 98%.The genes coding fnr?-mannanase of Bacillus circulus have low identity while the?-mannanase genes of Bacillus subtilis and other Bacillus spp. have high identity.
