Objective To study the value of bone marrow MR imaging in mornitoring chronic myeloid leukemia(CML).Methods 12 cases of CML underwent twice MR examination of pelvis and femur respectively at different time.MRI appearances were compared with the results of morphology and blood routine at the same time.The relation between MR findings and course was analysed.Results MR appearances of bone marrow were changed with the progression of disease.The condition of patients was improved in 2 cases and worse in 4 cases,the signal intensity of bone marrrow were increased and decreased respectively.The signal intensity of bone marrow showed no change in 6 patients whose condition kept stable.Conclusion The characteristics of MRI can reflect the progression of CML,it is of important value in mornitoring this disease.

Anidulafungin is an effective antifungal medicine, which can inhibit activities of candida in vitro and in vivo. Echinocandin B (ECB) is the key precursor of Anidulafungin, thus the price and market prospect of Anidulafungin is directly due to the fermentation titer of ECB. In this study, Aspergillus nidulans was used for ECB fermentation, and the influence of adding microparticles on ECB fermentation was studied, such as talcum powder, Al2O3, and glass beads. The particle size and concentration were the key factors for mycelium morphology and ECB production, and ECB production could reach 1 262.9 mg/L and 1 344.1 mg/L by adding talcum powder of 20 g/L (d50 = 14.2 μm) and 7 glass beads (6 mm), an increase by 33.2% and 41.7%, respectively. The results indicated that the mycelium morphology of filamentous microorganisms and the product yield of fermentation could be improved by adding microparticles remarkably, and it provide an important method for the fermentative optimization of filamentous microorganisms.

Objeetive To explore the analgesic and hemostatic effect of lidocaine gelatin fiber used after endoscopic sinus surgery.Methods 86 patients underwent endoscopic sinus surgery were randomly divided into A and B groups.In A group,20％ lidocaine gelatin fiber and expansion hemostatic sponge was packed into 43 patients' nasalcavity,while in B group,only expansion hemostatic sponge was packed.Nasal bleeding in patients while packed material within 24 hours and when extracted the material were observed.The analgesic effects were evaluated after packing material 1,6,12,and 24 hours after surgery.Results In A group,the amount of bleeding was (16.30 ± 5.19)ml,while the amount was(32.30 ± 12.09) ml in group B.Statistical analysis showed significant difference(t =7.97,P ＜0.05).There were no significant differences in nasal bleeding when extracted the stuffing and in analgesic efficiency 1hour after surgery.But the analgesic efficiency of lidocaine gelatin fiber was 20％,which was better than expansion hemostatic sponge 6 ～24 hours after surgery (t =27.163,29.091,16.241,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Lidocaine gelatin fiber not only had better hemostasis,but also had better analgesia than expansion hemostatic sponge after endoscopic sinus surgery.

Objective To assess the clinical significance of QT interval dispersion (QTd) in the diagnosis and prognosis of early heart damage in patients with severe acute pancreatitis.Methods All patients received complete ECG,There were 58 patients with SAP (the SAP group) and 189 patients with mild acute pancreatitis (the control group).These patients were analyzed retrospectively and 60 normal people were used as the healthy control group.The QT interval were measured respectively in serial 12-lead electrocardiogram and QTd,QTcd were calculated.Result QTd and QTcd were significantly longer in the SAP group than in the MAP group and in the healthy control group (P＜0.01).QTd,QTcd were not remarkably extended in the MAP group than in the healthy control group (P＞0.05).Conclusions QTd and QTcd have clinical values to diagnose and to predict early heart damage in patients with SAP.They might be useful in evaluating the condition of cardiac function in patients with SAP.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of Nutlin-3,a MDM2 antagonist,on the pyroptosis in SMMC-7721 cells.Methods: The expression of actived caspase-1(p20) and IL-1β was detected using Western blot analysis.Pyroptosis was investigated by a standard lactate dehydrogenase release assay(LDH).IL-1β content in the cell culture supernatant was quantified by ELISA.Results: Nutlin-3 up-regulated the expression level of actived caspase-1 and IL-1β in SMMC-7721 cells.Meanwhile,Nutlin-3 increased significantly the content of LDH and IL-1β in the cell culture supernatant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Nutlin-3 activated pro-caspase-1,promoted pyroptosis and IL-1β release in SMMC-7721 cells.

Objective To explore the association between the infection rate of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) and intake frequency of capsicum in dietary pattern. Methods A total of 914 health check-up participants were recruited from Tianjin Medical University General Hospital (male: 510,female:404). All participants were asked about the intake frequency of capsicum. Diagnostic criteria of the Hp infection included positive C13 breath test. Results The intake frequency of capsicum was ≥2 times/week, 1 time/week and <1 time/week. The infection rate of Hp was 56.08%, 49.04% and 48.29%. After adjusting for covariates, compared with the≥2 times/week, the odds ratios(95%confidence interval)of intake frequency of capsicum 1 time/week and <1 time/week: the frequency of capsicum intake ≥2 times/week was 1.00 (reference), the frequency of capsicum intake 1 time/week was 0.57(0.33-0.97) and the frequency of capsicum intake<1 time/week was 0.69(0.42-1.14) in men;the frequency of capsicum intake≥2 times/week was 1.00 (reference), the frequency of capsicum intake 1 time/week was 1.01(0.54-1.88), and the frequency of capsicum intake<1 time/week was 0.71(0.41-1.23) in women. Conclusions This study found that food intake frequency of capsicum≥2 times/week was associated with the infection rate of Hp in men. But similar relationship was not observed in women.

Objective To investigate the effect of controlled hypotension with nitroglycerin on intraocular pressure(IOP)during gynecological laparoscopic surgery.Methods Forty ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients,aged 25-55 yr,weighing 55-70 kg,undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery,were randomly divided into 2 groups(n =20 each):control group(group C)and controlled hypotension with nitroglycerin group(group N).Anesthesia was induced with iv injection of midaaolam 0.1 mg/kg,fentanyl 3 μg/kg,vecuronium 0.1 mg/kg and etomidate 0.3 mg/kg and maintained with iv infusion of propofol at 8 mg· kg-1 · h-1 and vecuronium at 0.1 mg· kg 1 · h-1.Additional fentanyl 2 μg/kg was injected intravenously at 3 min before the starting of surgery.The patients was tracheal intuhated and mechanically ventilation.PETCO2 was maintained at 35-40 mm Hg.BIS value was maintained at 50-60.Controlled hypotension was induced by infusion of nitroglycerin at 2-4 μg· kg-1 · min-1 after the starting of surgery.CVP was maintained at 12-14 cm H2 O.Controlled hypotension was stopped at the end of operation.IOP and CVP were recorded before induction(To),at 3 min after tracheal intubation(T1),at 10,30,60,90 and 120 m in of pneumoperitoneum(T2-6)and at 10 min after pneumoperitoneum(T7).Intraocular hypertension(IOP ＞ 21mm Hg)was also recorded.Results Compared with group C,IOP at T3-6 and CVP at T2-6 were significantly decreased,and the incidence of intraocular hypertension was also decreased in group N(P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Controlled hypotesion with nitroglycerin can prevent the intraocular hypertension effectively during gynecological laparoscopic surgery.

Objective: To study the relationship between human herpes vi rus 6 (HHV-6) infection and oral squamors cell carcinoma. Methods: The serum anti-HHV-6 antibody titers from 16 cases of oral squamors cell carcinoma (OSCC) and 16 control subjects were detected by indirect immunofluores cence assay. HHV-6 DNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells was amplified by P CR and the specificity was confirmed by Southern-blot hybridization with an int ernal probe oligonuclotide. An immunohistochemical staining was used to detect H HV-6 antigen in OSCC tissues. Results: Positive expression of s erum HHV-6 IgG antibody was found in all the cases of OSCC and in 12 of the 16 controls. Objective To investigate the clinicopathologic characteristics and prognosis of medullary breast carcinoma.Methods We conducted a retrospective analysis on clinical and pathologic data of 166 patients with medullary breast cancer.Results All the patients were female with a median age of 52 years old.The proportion of patients with stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ disease was 16.9％,68.1％,15.0％,respectively.The Luminal,HER-2 overexpressing and triple-negative subtypes constituted 31.3％,8.4％,and 60.3％,respectively.There was significant difference in regional lymph node status of medullary breast cancer patients with different molecular types (x2 =18.248,P =0.003),but not in tumor size,TNM stage,histological grade,and expression of Ki67 (all P ＞ 0.05).Multivariate survival analysis indicated that TNM stage was an independent predictor in the prognosis of medullary breast cancer (HR =5.664,P =0.001).All the patients were followed up from 15 months to 145 months with a median follow-up time of 108 months.The 5-year survival rate was 91.5％ and the 10-year survival rate was 87.2％.Conclusions The prognosis of medullary breast cancer is favorable.Personalized treatment according to the TNM stage and histopathologic characteristics achieve a favorable prognosis.

Objective To evaluate whether the serum uric acid (SUA) levels are related to development of prediabetes. Methods This was a 6-year cohort study, subjects were recruited from Tianjin Medical University General Hospital Health Management Center. A prospective assessment (n=30 910) was performed. Subjects without a history of prediabetes were followed up for 6 years (with a median follow-up of 2.7 person-years). All relevant variables including SUA concentrations, and fasting plasma glucose were assessed at baseline and yearly during the follow-up. Prediabetes was defined in accordance with the American Diabetes Association criteria of 2014. Multivariate-adjusted Cox proportional hazards regression models were fitted to assess relationships between the quintiles of baseline SUA and the incidence of prediabetes. Results The incidence of prediabetes was 55 per 1 000 person-years. In comparison with subjects in the lowest quintile, the odds ratios and hazard ratio (95%confidence interval) of higher quintile of SUA were 1.04 (0.93, 1.15), 1.07 (0.95, 1.19), 1.13 (1.01, 1.28) and 1.15 (1.02, 1.30) (P for trend=0.01), respectively, after adjusting for potential confounders. Conclusion SUA levels predicted an increased risk of prediabetes in adults.
