1.Effect of dihydroartemisinin on cell proliferation and radiotherapy sensitization of lung cancer cell H1299

Objective:To investigate the inhibitory effect of dihydroartemisinin on non-small cell lung cancer H1299 cells.Methods:Through the CCK-8 method for determining the IC 10 of dihydroartemisinin ,choose low dose IC 10 as the experimental concentration,CCK-8 to observe artemisinin in low doses of H1299 cell proliferation, cycle and the influence of radiation sensitivity.Results:IC10 of dihydroartemisinin was 14.87 μmol/L,dihydroartemisinin could inhibit proliferation of H 1299 cells,slow down the cell cycle , and increased the radiation sensitivity.Conclusion: Dihydroartemisinin can inhibit cell proliferation , cell cycle arrest in S phase ,increase the radiation sensitivity.
2.Clinical study of the therapeutic efficacy from different dosages of pralidoxime chloride used in patients with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning

Objective To investigate the effect of different doses of pralidoxime chloride on clinical outcome including recovery rate and mortality in patients with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning.Methods According to the total amount of pralidoxime chloride administered over the first 24 hours or entire duration of hospitalization,a cohort of 163 organophosphorus pesticide poisoning patients,admitted from February 2004 to December 2014 were assigned to different groups followed by a retrospective analysis.Comparisons of recovery rate,mortality rate,mean length of hospital stay,and duration of mechanical ventilation were made among groups.SPSS 18.0 was used to analyze categorical variables between the data of groups with x2 test/Fisher exact probability method and numerical variables with t test or One-way ANOVA,and statistical significance was set as P < 0.05.Results According to the amount of pralidoxime chloride given over the first 24 hours,the recovery rate and the mortality rate were significantly improved in the experimental group (pralidoxime chloride > 2 g) than in the control group (pralidoxime chloride < 2 g) (P =0.04).There was no significant difference in mean length of hospital stay between the experimental group and the control group (P =0.171),and there were statistically significant differences in recovery rate and mortality rate among the four dose-response subgroups (total dosage administered in 24 hours in group A < 1 g,in group B <2 g,in group C <4 g and in group D >4 g) (P =0.034).Based on the total amount of pralidoxime chloride prescribed in the entire duration of hospital stay,the recovery rate and mortality rate were significantly better in the experimental group than those in control group (P =0.002),and among the three dose-response subgroups,the significant difference in recovery rate and mortality rate were also observed (P =0.006).Conclusions Increased amounts of pralidoxime chloride prescribed in the first 24 hours and in the whole hospitalized period can improve the recovery rate and reduce the mortality rate in organophosphorus pesticide poisoning patients.
3.Effect of rehabilitation on dysphagia and trismus induced by radiation in patients with nasopharyngeal carci-noma

Objective To evaluate the effect of rehabilitation training on dysphagia and trismus in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy.Methods Fony-three post-radiotherapy nasopharyngeal carcino-ma patients were divided into a rehabilitation group and a control group.Both groups were subjected to routine treat-ment,while the rehabilitation group received rehabilitation training in addition.The patients were assessed with a wa-ter-swallowing test of swallowing.Late effects of normal tissues/subjective and objective medical analysis(LENT/SOMA)scored and inter-incisor distance were measured to assess trismus before and after treatment.Results The rehabilitation group displayed significant improvement in swallowing as well as increased inter-incisor distance.Con-clusions Rehabilitation training can improve swallowing,prevent or delay trismus and improve the quality of life of patients.
4.Association between neck circumference and cardiovascular risk factors in middle-aged and elderly nondiabetic people in Jiading District, Shanghai

Objective· To investigate the association between neck circumference (NC) and cardiovascular risk factors among middle-aged and elderly people without diabetes in Jiading District in Shanghai.Methods· A cross-sectional study was conducted among 4 657 nondiabetic inhabitants aged 40 and above in Jiading District,Shanghai from August 2014 to July 2015.Clinical information collection,anthropometric measurements,and biochemical analyses were performed.The objects were divided into 4 groups according to the quartiles of NC in order to analyze association between NC and cardiovascular risk factors.Results· With increase of NC,the prevalences of abdominal obesity,insulin resistance,hypertension,and dyslipidemia all increased as well as waist circumference,body mass index (BMI),blood pressure,lipid profile,fast blood glucose,and HOMA-IR level (all Ptrend <0.01).Multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that individuals in Q2,Q3 and Q4 group had significantly higher risk of abdominal obesity,insulin resistance,hypertension,and dyslipidemia compared with those in Q1 group after age,sex,smoking,drinking,physical activity,BMI,waist circumference,systolic blood pressure,C-reactive protein,fast blood glucose,and lipid profile were corrected (all Ptrend <0.01).Conclusion· NC is positively and independently correlated with cardiovascular risk factors in middle-aged and elderly nondiabetic people in Jiading District in Shanghai.
5.Effects of clonidine on learning and memory and protein levels of ERK signal pathway-related proteins in rats with chronic cerebral ischemia

AIM:To investigate the regulatory effects and underlying molecule-mechanism of clonidine on learning and memory in rats with chronic cerebral ischemia.METHODS: Sprague-Dawley rats(n=45)were randomly divided into sham-operation group,cerebral ischemia model group and clonidine group,15 rats in each group.The chronic cerebral ischemia rat model was established by right middle cerebral artery occlusion for 2 h and reperfusion for 30 d. Clonidine was administrated by i.g.for 7 days in clonidine group.The ability of spatial reference memory of the rats with cerebral ischemia was tested by Morris water maze.The protein levels of extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2(ERK1/2),phosphorylated ERK1/2(p-ERK1/2), cAMP-response element binding protein(CREB)and phosphorylated CREB (p-CREB)were determined by immunohistochemistry and Western blot.RESULTS:The results of Morris water maze test showed that compared with the sham-operation group,the ability of spatial reference memory was obviously impaired in the cerebral ischemia model group.Compared with the cerebral ischemia model group,the ability of spatial reference memory in the clonidine group were improved.Compared with the sham-operation group, the protein levels of p-ERK1/2 and p-CREB in hippocampus were increased in model group(P<0.01).Compared with the cerebral ischemia model group,the protein levels of p-ERK1/2 and p-CREB in hippocampus were decreased in the clonidine group(P<0.01).CONCLU-SION:Clonidine improves the learning and memory abilities of the rats with cerebral ischemia, and ERK1/2 and CREB are involved in this process.

Objective To investigate the bladder function in primipara and bipara within 1 week after delivery using urodynamic study.Methods Investigations on urodynamic changes were performed in 36 primipara volunteers and 12 bipara volunteers according to the recommendations of the International Continence Society(ICS).Fourteen women with upper urinary tract diseases but having normal lower urinary tract function,who had not experienced parturation were included as controls.Results Functional bladder volume(FBV)of primipara and bipara after delivery and normal desire cytometric capacity (NDCC)were respectively lower than those of control group(437?193)ml and(338?120)ml,however FBV and NDCC between primipara and bipara(310?154),(215?90)ml vs(243?141),(225?115) ml were not significantly different.The static Pure.max and Pure.clos.max of primipara and bipara were respectively higher than those of control group(87?7)cm H_2O(1 cm H_2O=0.098 kPa)and(78?8) cm H_2O(P
7.Study of transdiaphragmatic pressure and its correlation with esophageal pressure in ARDS piglet

Objective To study the changes of trans-diaphragmatic pressure (Ptra) and its correlation with esophageal pressure (Peso) through ARDS piglet model.Methods Five piglets were enrolled in the study.Peso,gastric pressure (Pgas) and intra-thoracic pressure (Pint) was monitored through balloon inserted.The data before ARDS serve as control.ARDS was produced in the piglets through saline lavage.The pressure were observed and the Ptra were calculated.The pressure changes and correlation between Ptra and Peso were analyzed as well.Linear regression with the coefficient of determination and t-test were used as appropriate.Significance was assumed for P < 0.05.Results Peso,Pgas and Pint before ARDS were 7.3 ± 1.9,25.5 ± 2.4,- 1.23 ± 0.21 cmH2O,Ptra was 18.2 ± 1.6 cmH2O.While after ARDS,the data were 4.7 ± 1.4,31.1 ± 3.1 and - 1.79 ± 0.28 cmH2O,and Ptra was 26.4 ± 2.1 cmH2 O,and all these changes were obviously ( P < 0.05 ).The correlation between Pint and Peso,Pint and Ptra (A) and Ptra ( B ) were 0.93 ± 0.025,0.88 ± 0.023 and 0.87 ± 0.37 before ARDS.After ARDS,the correlation changed to be 0.82 ±0.21,0.81 ±0.20 and 0.78 ±0.31.Although a bit decreased,the correlation was still positive (P < 0.01 ).Conclusions There existed good correlations between Peso and Ptra as well as between Pint and Peso before or after ARDS.Ptra was increased obviously after ARDS,which could lead to respiratory muscle fatigue.
8.Changes of awareness of tuberculosis and access to tuberculosis-related information among students in Zhejiang Province in the year of 2014 and 2018

Objective:
To explore the changes of awareness of tuberculosis and access to tuberculosis-related information among students in Zhejiang Province.
Methods:
There were 554 students younger than 30 y were included in the study during April to sept. of 2014 and during sept. to Nov. of 2018. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression were conducted to find the related factors of knowing about tuberculosis and related knowledge. Chi-square test was used to analyze the changes of ways access to tuberculosis-related information.
Results:
There were 440 participants (79.4%) aware of tuberculosis, including 215(85.7%) in 2014 and 225(74.3%) in 2018. The factors affecting awareness on tuberculosis were female ( AOR=1.60, 95%CI =1.04-2.47) vs male; and junior middle school( AOR=1.99, 95%CI =1.03-3.85), high school( AOR=3.27, 95%CI =1.57-6.81), college or higher ( AOR=6.73,95%CI =2.55-17.76) vs primary school or lower; year 2018 ( AOR=0.50, 95%CI =0.31-0.80) vs 2014. There was no significant statistical difference in the overall knowledge scores of tuberculosis between the students in the two surveys. In 2018, the proportion of tuberculosisrelated information accessed from the Internet (forum, WeChat, Weibo.) and community activities (assembly promotion)(75.10%, 26.70%) was higher than that of 2014(36.20%, 13.10%)( χ 2=68.88, 12.79, P <0.05).
Conclusion
The proportion of students aware of tuberculosis and TB control in Zhejiang Province were not significantly improved. Higher proportion of students get tuberculosis-related information from the new media. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen health education of tuberculosis in schools, especially through the usage of new media apart from traditional pathways.
9.Chemical constituents of Hyperricum monogynum.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the chemical constituents from the aerial parts of Hyperricum monogynum.
METHODCompounds were isolated by various column chromatography and identified by spectral analysis.
RESULTTen compounds were isolated and identified as quercetin, quercitrin, hyperoside, rutin, (-)-epicatechin, 3,5-dihydroxy-1-methoxy-xanthone, 3,4-O-isopropylidenyl shikimic acid, shikimic acid, daucosterol, and oleanoic acid.
CONCLUSIONAll compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
