Objective To explore the characteristics,application and significance of electrocardiogragh (ECG)in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of pulmonary embolism(PE)by contrasting the ECG of PE and several diseases with similiar clinical features.Methods A total of 364 cases were enrolled in this study,including 197 cases of PE,70 cares of coronary artery disease(CAD)with congestive heart failure(CHF),47 cases of essential hypertension(EH)with CHF,and 50 cases of acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome(ALI/ARDS).The ECG of these 364 PE cases were analyzed.Results The rates of axle right drift,lockward rotation,right bundle branch block and pulmonary P wave,V1 lead s-wave were higher than control groups,with significant difference.Bates of S1Q3T3,disposition of T wave in chest lead were the highest in PE group,with significant difference.Conclusion The main appearances of ECG in PE patients hint the heavy load of right ventricular and coronary ischemia.Perhaps S1Q3T3 is the appearance of axle right drift.The sensitivity and speciality of every feature is not good enough to diagnosis or differential diagnosis;dynamic observation of ECG is of great significance to the diagnosis of PE.

Acute and chronic cholecystitis is often complicated by gallstones.With the rapid development of modern surgery,especially the renovation in surgical concepts,techniques,and methods represented by noninvasive surgery,surgery becomes the most important method for the treatment of such disease.However,surgical treatment is also limited by different disease stages,disease onset status,and individual factors.As an indispensible part of the whole treatment system for such disease,non-surgical treatments,especially integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine therapy,still have unique advantages.This article briefly summarizes the history of the treatment of acute and chronic cholecystitis and related hot topics and controversies,as well as the concepts and methods of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine therapy.

Objective: To investigate the effects of DATS (diallyl trisulfide) on cell proliferation, cell cycle and apoptosis of human osteosarcoma cell line Saos-2, and to explore their potential molecular mechanisms. Methods: Saos-2 cells were treated with 25, 50 and 100 μmol/L DATS for 24, 48, 72, and 96 h. The change of cell morphology was observed under an inverted microscope. The effect of DATS on the proliferation of Saos-2 cells was detected by MTT assay. After treatment with DATS at desired concentrations for various time intervals, the cell cycle and apoptotic rate of Saos-2 cells were analyzed by flow cytometry. The expressions of DATS-sensitive proteins in Saos-2 cells were systematically detected using 2-DE (two-dimensional gel electrophoresis) and mass spectrometry analysis. Results: DATS could inhibit the proliferation of Saos-2 cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner. Moreover, DATS could arrest the cell cycle at phase G0/G1 and induce the apoptosis in a time- and concentrationdependent manner. A total of 27 unique DATS-sensitive proteins, including 18 downregulated proteins and 9 upregulated proteins, were found in Saos-2 cells. Conclusion: DATS can suppress the proliferation of Saos-2 cells by blocking cell cycle progression and inducing apoptosis. The results of proteomics not only suggest the anticarcinogenic mechanism of DATS, but also provide a novel insight into the therapeutic targets for gene therapy of osteosarcoma. Objective To observe the effects of Shenqi Bufeitang on expessions of metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) in the airway remodeling of COPD rat model with lung-Qi deficiency syndrome. Methods Quantitative stimulation with tobacco,SO2 and papin was made to establish COPD rat model with lung-Qi deficiency syndrome. Sixty male rats were randomly divided into normal group (N),model group (M),low dose treatment group (LT),medium dose treatment group (MT),high dose treatment group (HT) and glucocorticoid treatment group (GCT). The thicknesses of the airway wall and smooth muscle layer of the small airway were measured by means of image analyzer. The protein expressions of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 were examined by immunohistochemical analysis. Objective To establish the questionnaires of sexual knowledge demands ,that was used for providing a tool to as‐sess the knowledge of college students and carry out targeted education .Methods The initial theoretical frame and items of ques‐tionnaires of sexual knowledge demands were generated from literature review and open questionnaire survey ;127 students were in‐tended the pretest and 901 students were intended the formal test .Then ,item analysis ,exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were conducted to assess its reliability and validity .Results The items of questionnaires of sexual knowledge demands was consis‐ted of 29 items belonging to five factors which were sexual behavior ,moral of sex ,the psychology of interrelation between males and females ,sexual physiology of males and sexual physiology of females .The cronbachαcoefficient of the scale was 0 .904 ,confirmato‐ry factor analysis showed the fit indexes reached the standard of good fitting indicators(χ2/df = 6 .10 ,CFI= 0 .92 ,NFI= 0 .91 , NNFI=0 .91 ,RMSEA=0 .09) .Conclusion The questionnaires of demands of sexual knowledge has good reliability and validity , and can be used for related research .

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrostolithotomy (mPCNL) in treatment of kidney calculi and the influence of renal function.Methods According to the operation method,70 patients with kidney calculi were divided into mPCNL group (38 patients) and percutaneous nephrostolithotomy (PCNL) group (32 patients).The curative effect,serum creatinine (SCr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) postoperative 1 month were compared.Results The patients in two groups were successfully for broken calculi.The operation time of stag-horn calculi,retinitis simplex kidney pelvis calculi and kidney calices multiple calculi in PCNL group were significantly shorter than those in mPCNL group [(89.13 ± 13.36) min vs.(112.32 ± 12.41) min,(65.28 ±9.76) min vs.(78.84 ± 12.03) min,(98.97 ± 11.84) min vs.(112.64 ± 10.87) min,P ＜ 0.05].The first stage clearance rate of retinitis simplex kidney pelvis calculi in PCNL group was significantly higher than that in mPCNL group [88.89％(8/9) vs.57.14％(8/14),P ＜ 0.05].But the clearance rate of kidney calices multiple calculi in PCNL group was significantly lower than that in mPCNL group [58.33％(7/12) vs.86.67％(13/15),P＜0.05].The first stage clearance rate of stag-horn calculi in two groups had no significant difference [63.64％(7/11) vs.66.67％ (6/9),P ＞ 0.05].The patients in two groups had no serious complication.The rate of fever after operation in two groups had no significant difference [15.63％ (5/32) vs.10.53％ (4/38),P ＞ 0.05].The level of SCr and BUN in the patients combined with kidney insufficiency in two groups were decreased slightly (P ＞ 0.05).The improvement rate of renal function in two groups had no significant difference (P ＞0.05).Conclusions mPCNL and standard channel PCNL in treatment of kidney calculi can achieve a good first stage clearance rate,and the incidence rate of postoperative complication is lower.mPCNL and standard channel PCNL have no obviously influence on early stage renal function.The operation time of mPCNL is generally longer,but the therapeutic effect of kidney calices multiple calculi is better than standard channel PCNL.

Objective To explore the changes in serum protein profiles in rats after psychological stress. Methods Twenty-four male Wistar rats were randomly divided into psychological stress group,control group and stressor group. Rats in stressor group received intermittent foot-shock. Instead of foot-shock,the rats in psychological stress group received the stimulating information from stressor group by watching,listening and smelling. Rats in control group were kept in individual cages and received no stimulation. Experiments were performed once every morning for two weeks. Serum samples of rats in both psychological stress group and control group were obtained and the changes in protein profiles were determined and statistically analyzed by Surface Enhanced Laser Desorption Ionization-Time of Flight-Mass Spectrometry (SELDI-TOF-MS) after the experiments. Objective To probe the mechanism of metronidazole resistance to Helicobacter pylori (Hp). Methods (1) The selective pressure test of metronidazole. (2) SDSPAGE electrophoresis. (3) Nitrate reduction test. (4) Test for detecting the enzyme activities associated with 95 substrates of gram negative. Results After the mutation of Hp from sensitive to resistant strains, the activities of enzymes associated with monomethyl succinate, succinic acid and Dalanine is decreased, and those associated with Lfucose 6phosphate glucose is increased. Conclusions The metronidazole resistance of Hp is associated with the metabolism and the change of enzyme activities.

Objective To study the expressions and significances of matrix metalloproteinases-3 (MMP-3) and tissue-inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase-3 (TIMP-3) in transitional cell carcinoma of bladder.Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expressions of MMP-3 and TIMP-3 in 48 cases of transitional cell carcinoma of bladder and 20 normal bladder tissues.Results MMP-3 and TIMP-3 in normal bladder tissues did not express.The more grading and staging,the more MMP-3 expression,but no statistical significance(P ＞0.05),by contrast,TIMP-3 expression decreased and has statistically significant in the tumor grading (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions High expression of MMP-3 and low expression of TIMP-3 is related to the malignancy of transitional cell carcinoma of bladder and may play an important role in the development of transitional cell carcinoma of bladder,as an important reference to judge the degree of malignancy of transitional cell carcinoma of bladder and prognostic indicator.
