Stromal preadipocytes from human omental adipose tissues were isolated with enzyme-digesting method,and cultured for inducing differentiation.Preadipocyte factor-1 was abundant during preadipoeyte stage,whereas lipoprotein lipase and PPARγ2 mRNA were rapidly up-regulated at early stage of differentiation and CCAAT/enhancer binding protein expression was increased rather late.In addition,resistin expression and secretion was primarily detectable in preadipocytes,leptin was gradually increased during adipogenesis,whereas adiponectin appeared specifically in mature adipocytes.Insulin-like growth factor-Ⅰ secretion was remarkably detected in both preadipocytes and mature adipocytes.

The age of 18 is an important criterion in judicial trial, immigrant and competitive sports. Consequentially, the estimation of age 18 is a key issue in forensic practice and research. The extremitas sternalis claviculae, iliac crest, third molar, and the proximal limb of the limb bone were usually used as indictors of age 18. The results of the previous studies demonstrated that those indictors could be beneficial to the estimation of age 18. The X-ray, CT, ultrasound and MRI of different indictors were widely utilized for the estimation of age 18, particularly the thin-layer CT. But due to the non-radiation, MRI will be a trend for forensic age estimation in the future. Whilst in the previous studies, the descriptive analysis was applied for the estimation of age 18, but due to the low statistic efficiency, it is unsuitable for forensic age estimation, and the future studies should pay attention to the high efficiency statistical methods, for instance, the ROC curve or the data mining.

Objective To investigate the corelation between platelet activating factor acetylhydrolase (PAF-AH) genetic polymorphism and ischemic stroke. Methods The plasma PAF-AH genotype was determined in 205 patients with iachemic stroke and 114 normal subjects by the polymerase chain reaction. The levels of plasma platelet activating factor (PAF), platelet α-granule membrane glycoprotein-140(GMP-140), β-thromboglobulin (β-TG) and the levels of platelet factor 4 (PF4) were analyzed. Results The prevalence of the mutation genotype and plasma PAF, GMP-140, β-TG and PF4 in the patients with isehemic stroke [42.44%,(91.08 ± 39.10) ng/L, (36.46 ± 13.10) μg/L, (41.75 ± 11.18) μg/L, (29.05 ± 9.16) g/L, respectively] were significantly higher than those in the controls[21.05%,(64.30 ± 18.81) ng/L, (18.27 ± 7.68) μg/L, (30.94 ± 8.47) μg/L, (18.75 ± 6.06) μg/L](P< 0.01). The levels of plasma PAF, GMP-140 were significantly higher in mutation genotype patients than those in the normal genotype patients (P < 0.01). Conclusions The activation function of platelet in the acute phase of patients with ischemic stroke increases, and it is associated with genetic polymorphism of PAF-AH. The PAF-AH gene mutation may be a novel genetic marker for high risk of ischemic stroke.

To explore the effect of releasing aqueous humor of anterior chamber through lateral incision of cornea in treating early elevated intraocular pressure ( lOP ) after implantation of implantable collamer lens ( lCL) .METHODS: Patients with elevated lOP were analyzed after lCL implantation. When the lOP>25mmHg, aqueous humor was released slowly through lateral incision of cornea, and made the lOP reduce to 10 ~13mmHg. After operation, lOP was measured every 2h. The releasing of aqueous humor was repeated until the lOP was decreased to normal.RESULTS: One hundred sixty - seven patients ( 330 eyes) were implanted lCL, while the lOP of 32 patients (62 eyes) was higher than 25mmHg after lCL implantation. Viscoelastic material was found in aqueous humor of most of high lOP patients, and the lOP of 48 eyes did not increase again through releasing aqueous humor once. The lOP of all these eyes was decreased to normal through releasing aqueous humor in 3 times at most. There were no abnormal in postoperative follow-up.CONCLUSlON:The main reason of early elevated lOP after lCL implantation is the remaining of viscoelastic material of eyes. Releasing aqueous humor through lateral incision of cornea can decrease lOP effectively. lt is a simple, safe, painless and repetition, which the patients are willing to accept.

Objective To observe the effects of granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) on electrophysiological properties of post-infarct ventricles.Methods Sixty-seven survival Wistar rats were divided into 4 groups:Sham group,Control group,MI early G-CSF group (E-G) and MI delay G-CSF group (D-G) after ligation of the left coronary artery as myocardial infarction model.Monophasic action potential(MAP) was recorded by absorption electrode in ex vivo perfused rat hearts.Effective refractive period(ERP),sinus cardiac length (SCL),action potential amplitude (APA),maximal depolariged (Vmax),ventricular fibrillation threshold(VFF) and ventricular fibrillation duration(VFD) were measured.Results The electrophysiological parameters (SCL,VFT,VFD,APA,ERP/MAP90,dispersion of ERP and MAP90) of the E-G group were improved significantly (all P ＜ 0.05) at day 7 post MI.Improvement in SCL,dispersion of ERP and MAP 90 were found in the D-G group as well at day 7 post MI (all P ＜ 0.05).Substained improvement in electrophysiological parameters were found in the E-G group at 3 months after MI (P ＜0.05).Besides SCL,APA,Vmax and dispersion of MAP90,all other parameters in the D-G group were similar to that of the control group with no statistical significance and even had a tendency of deterioration in ERP and MAP90 3 months after MI.Conclusion G-CSF intervention could improve electrophysiological properties of ischemic ventricles.Early G-CSF intervention showed better outcomes compared to delay G-CSF intervention on electrical remodeling ischemia myocardiumwhich may have effect on reducing the development of ventricular arrhythmia.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of modified endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) and rubber band ligation assisted endoscopic dissection for treatment of small gastric submucosal tumors (SMT) originating from the muscularis propria layer. Methods A total of ninety-two patients diagnosed as gastric SMT (6 mm≤diameter≤13 mm) originating from the muscularis propria layer by EUS in our hospital were enrolled in this study. With intravenous anesthesia and tracheal intubation in all patients, modified ESD was performed firstly to stripe the small tumors. After being exposed to a certain extent, the tumors were ligated by rubber band and snared for endoscopic dissection. The situation of bleeding, perforation in both intraoperative and postoperative, the integrity and size of the resected specimens were observed and recorded. The resected specimens were identified with histopathological detection and immunohistochemistry assay. At the 6-month and 12-month after the operation, all patients were reviewed by gastroscopy and EUS in our hospital. Results All the 92 tumors were resected completely and successfully. The mean operating time was (19.2±2.3) min and the mean blood loss in operation was (2.6±0.5) mL. Perforation after resection occurred in 3 cases, which were closed with metal hemostatic clips and nylon ropes. No delayed bleeding and perforation occurred in one week after the operation. The tumor sizes ranged from 6 mm × 5 mm to 13 mm × 12 mm. Seventy-three gastric stromal tumors (risk classification:all were very low risk), 18 gastric leiomyomas and 1 gastric neurofibroma were identified. There were no residue or recurrence in all cases during the 12-month follow-up period. Conclusion The modified ESD and rubber band ligation assisted endoscopic dissection are effective and safe for treatment of small gastric submucosal tumors originating from the muscularis propria layer. The tumors are resected completely and successfully, showing certain significance to assess the nature, degree of malignancy of the tumor and prognosis of the patients.
