Thirty-eight cases of allergic rhinitis has been treated by puncturing the points of Yintang (Ex-HN 3), Yingxiang (LI 20), Feishu (BL 13), Fengchi (GB 20), Shangxing (GV 23), Hegu (LI 4) and so on, combined with massaging the head, face and trunk. The result showed that cure occurred in 16cases, marked effectiveness in 18 cases and ineffectiveness in 4 cases.

Ninety cases of scapulohumeral periarthritis were treated by electroacupuncture plus Tuina and the effective rate was 94.4%. The effective rate was 81.9% in the control group (treated by Frozen Shoulder Decoction added by other herbal drugs) of 83 cases. The result indicated that the treatments of the two groups were effective, but the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group. In the treatment group, the cure rate was higher, the duration of treatment was shorter and the sequelae of conglutination and rigidity of the shoulder joint, muscular atrophy and so on were reduced.

One hundred and eighty patients of shoulder periarthritis were treated by combined traction, acupuncture, physiotherapy, Tuina and functional exercise. After 10 treatments, 133 cases were cured, 36 cases got marked effectiveness, 8 cases got effectiveness, 3 cases had no effectiveness and the total effective rate was 98.3%. Combined therapy can relieve adhesion of soft tissues induced by various causes to achieve the purpose of accelerating recovery.

One hundred and thirty patients with postpartum retention of urine were treated by electroacupuncture on bilateral Sanyinjiao (SP 6) and Yinlingquan (SP 9). After 1-5treatments, 130 patients could discharge urine successfully.

To investigate a therapeutic method for post-herpes neuralgia,.Methods:Seventy-six cases of post-herpes neuralgia were equally divided into the treatment group treated with encircled needing and cotton moxibustion and control group treated with the routine acupuncture. Results:The total effective rate was 94.7% in the treatment group and 78.9% in control group. Conclusion:The encircled needing plus cotton moxibustion had the better therapeutic effect than routine acupuncture in treating post-herpes neuralgia.

To observe the therapeutic effect of treating pseudomyopia in children by auricular point sticking plus plucking manipulation. Two groups of auricular points were selected. There were Eye 1 (MA-L), Eye 2(MA-L), Liver (MA-SC 5) and Er Shenmen (MA-TF 1) in the first group and Central rim (MA-AT), Eye(MA-L 1), Superior Triangular Fossa (MA-TF) and Cervical Vertebrae (MA-AH 8)points. Then the cervical vertebrae were plucked and moved fore-and-aft circlewise. The result showed that among 45 affected eyes of the 35 cases, the total effective rate was 97.8%, which indicated the therapeutic effect was remarkable.

Twenty-five cases of obstruction of qi in the chest were treated mainly by one-thumb pushing manipulation. The result showed Tuina had the functions of relieving various clinical symptoms of the patients with obstruction ofqi in the chest. Ten cases were cured, 14 cases were improved and 1 case had no effectiveness.

To search for the best method in treating prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc, the cases of prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc were treated by Tuina plus acupuncture. The cure rate was high, the course of treatment was short and the effect was satisfactory. Tuina can relax muscles and tendons,promote the blood circulation, acupuncture can warm the meridians to disperse cold pathogen, promote the blood circulation to remove blood stasis, and the combination of these two treatments can enhance the therapeutic effect.

Twenty-four cases of juvenile pseudomyopia were corrected by puncturing Jingming (BL1)on the affected side, Hegu (LI 4) and Fengchi (GB 20) on the both side, and then moving both eyeballs in a rotary route. After 42 affected eyes were treated, 32 eyes were cured, 6 eyes were markedly effective, 2 eyes were improved, 2 eyes were ineffective and the total effective rate was 95.2%.

To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of scalp acupuncture,body acupuncture plus moxibustion with box in treating enuresis.Methods:Ninety-three patients were divided into treatment group of 63 cases and control group of 30 cases.Scalp acupuncture,body acupuncture plus moxibustion with box were used in treatment group.Routine western medicine therapy was used in control group.Results and Conclusion:The cured rate was 69.8% and the total effective rate was 95.3% in the treatment group and 33.3% and 76.7% in the control group.The therapeutic effect in treatment group was superior to that in control group(P＜0.05).
