Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1986;22(5):738-742
Castleman disease is a rare disease entity of unknown etiology, with the characteristics of large, wellmarginated benign lymphoid masses occuring predominently in the mediastinum. the value of contrast enhancement insolid soft tissue masses of mediastinum has little been written because most of the solid mediastinal tumors showno significant degree of enhancement. But Castleman disease, because of its hypervascularity, shows significantdegree of enhancement in most cases. Authors report 3 cases of Castlemen disease and suggests good diagnosticprobability of Castlman disease in cases that show benign looking homogeneously enhancing mediastinal mass by CTscan.

5.Extravesical Ureteroneocystostomy in Renal Transplantation.
Korean Journal of Urology 1989;30(4):547-552
From January, 1981 to May, l988, 46 patients underwent renal transplant ureteroneocystostomy by a transvesical technique in 12 and extravesical ureteroneocystostomy in 34. There were 2 complications of urine leakage related to the transvesical ureteroneocystostomy, while no instance of complication relates to the extravesical ureteroneocystostomy. Urine leakages were repaired by reoperation of the extravesical ureteroneocystostomy. Renal transplant extravesical ureteroneocystostomy is simple, fast and effective method to reestablish urinary tract continuity and provides minimal complication.

Korean Journal of Legal Medicine 2014;38(2):66-72
Parricide, the crime of murdering a parent, accounts for about 5% of all homicides. Filicide is the crime of murdering one's own child. This study aimed to review demographic features and criminal characteristics of individuals who committed parricide and filicide in Republic of Korea (ROK). This study is based on data from the Korea Police Crime Analysis System, from 2006~2013. We assessed the diverse characteristics of both victims and perpetrators. Over the selected period, 381 parents were killed by their children and 230 children were killed by parents in the ROK. Parricides caused by schizophrenic murders accounted for 39.6% of all cases. Moreover, approximately 44.4% of the perpetrators attempted suicide following the maternal filicide. In our findings, psychiatric illness was a very important predictor in parricide, and these further suggest that young mothers with severe mental illness require careful monitoring by mental health support service.

Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1993;29(6):1346-1349
The authors devdeloped a computer program for automatic coding of ACR (American College of Radiology) code. The automatic coding of the ACR code is essential for computerization of the data in the department of radiology. This program was written in FoxBASE language and has been used for automatic coding of diagnosis in the Deparment of Radiology, Wallace Memorial Baptist Hospital since May 1992. The ACR dictionary files consisted of 11 files, one for the organ code and the others for the pathology code. The organ code was obtained by typing organ name or code number itself among the upper and lower level codes of the selected one that were simultaneously displayed on the screen. According to the first number of the selected organ code. the corresponding pathology code file was chosen augomatically. By the similar fashion of organ code selection, the proper pathologic dode was obtained. An example of obtained ACR code is "131.3661". This procedure was reproducible regardless of the number of fields of data. Bacause this program was written in "User's Defined Function" from, decoding of the stored ACR code was achieved by this same program and incoporation of this program into another data processing program was possible. This program had merits of simple operation, accurate and detail coding, and easy adjustment for another program. Therefore, this program can be used for automation of routine work in the department of radiology.

Korean Journal of Urology 1987;28(5):719-723
A renal arteriovenous fistula and arterial aneurysm are congenital or acquired in origin. Treatment has consisted of partial or total nephrectomy and ligation of branch artery traditionally. Recently the development of transcatheter arterial embolization technique has afforded a new therapeutic alternative Selective embolization using a embolic agent was found useful in management of arteriovenous fistula and aneurysm. With brief review of literatures, we report 5 cases treated successfully by selective transcatheter embolization.
