Objective To study the effect of H_2O_2 on the cultured melanocytes and the relationship between oxidative stress and vitiligo.Method Melanocytes were cultured with H_2O_2,the proliferation and melanogenesis of melanocyte were analysed by MTT and NaOH assay.Result H_2O_2 can inhibite the proliferation and melanogenesis of melanocytes,and the inhibition was concentration and-time-dependent.Conclusion Oxidative stress can inhibite the proliferation and melanogenesis of melanocytes,but oxidative damage can not induce vitiligo.

Objective To investigate the presentation and radiologic findings of acute marchiafava‐bignami disease(MBD) . Methods Three cases of acute MBD who were diagnosed and treated in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed ,including the clinical symptoms ,laboratory tests ,imaging examination(such as cranial CT ,magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) ,prognosis .Results Three cases were acute onset .The symptoms may be non‐specific ,such as consciousness disorder ,psychosis ,seizures ,delirium tremor and high fever .The imaging changes in the genu and splenium of corpus callosum could be found ,even in the bihemispheric white matter of all cases .CT revealed low‐density areas ,meanwhile MRI showed iso‐or hypo‐intensity on T1WI and ADC ,hyper‐in‐tensity on T2WI and fluid attenuated inversion recovery and restricted diffusion weighted imaging .The lesions involved in bihemi‐spheric brachium pontis in one case and in the body of corpus callosum in another case .Conclusion Acute MBD may present with various clinical forms ,but have characteristic imaging findings .

OBJECTIVETo investigate the pathogen distribution and drug resistance in coal workers' pneumoconiosis associated with pneumonia and to provide a scientific basis for early guidance for rational clinical application of antibacterial agents.

METHODSSeventy-six patients with coal workers' pneumoconiosis associated with pneumonia who were admitted to our hospital from June 2011 to June 2014 were enrolled as subjects. The sputum specimens were aseptically collected for bacterial culture and drug sensitivity tests.

RESULTSIn 245 sputum specimens collected from 76 patients, a total of 218 strains of pathogens, including 163 strains of Gram-negative bacilli (74.77%), 39 strains of Gram-positive cocci (17.89%), and 16 strains of fungi (7.34%) were isolated by bacteriological tests. The main Gram-negative bacilli had high rates of resistance to amoxicillin/clavulanic acid, ampicillin, cotrimoxazole, cefotaxime, and aztreonam, and were sensitive to amikacin, imipenem, and meropenem. The main Gram-positive cocci had high rates of resistance to penicillin, erythromycin, amoxicillin/clavulanic acid, ampicillin, cefotaxime, and clindamycin, and were sensitive to vancomycin and teicoplanin.

CONCLUSIONThe main pathogens in these patients with coal workers' pneumoconiosis associated with pneumonia are Gram-negative bacilli, which are highly resistant to common clinically used antibacterial agents. The pathogen distribution and drug resistance should be well understood, and the antibacterial agents should be rationally selected according to the results of drug sensitivity tests.

[Objective] To investigate association between the time point of sorafenib administered and suppress effect on tumor growth secondary to the increased expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF).[Methods] Fifty SD rats were performed intrahepatic implantation using tumor tissues from subcutaneous tumors in nude mice which were administered Walker 256 tumor cells.Ten days after the procedure,MR scans were used to choose forty SD rats with successful hepatic tumor transplantation among fifty experimental animals.Then they were randomly divided into four groups:(A,control group) mere injection of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF);(B) administration of sorafenib 72 hours prior to VEGF injection;(C) administration of sorafenib together with VEGF injection;(D) administration of sorafenib 72 hours later to VEGF injection.The tumor growth and median survival time of rodents were observed and compared.After each experimental animal died,immunohistochemical (IHC) methods were applied to detect the expression of VEGF in tumors.[Results] Ten days after the administration of sorafenib,MR showed significant growth of hepatic tumors,the tumor size in experiment group were significiant smaller,than control group (5.4 cm) with statistical significance.Median survival time of four groups were (19.6 ± 1.8) d,(31.2 ± 7.0) d,(27.4 ± 4.9) d,and (26.5 ± 4.6) d,respectively,which indicated that animals in sorafenib groups lived longer than those in control group (P ＜ 0.05).Differences can be obseverd in sorafenib groups with statistical significance existing (P ＜ 0.05).Harvest hepatic tumor tissues from dead animals and HE staining as well as IHC examination were performed.The expression of VEGF in four groups were 88.3 ± 13.6,42.8 ± 8.0,71.9 ± 15.7,and 73.6 ± 13.7.There were statistical significance between control group and sorafenib groups.And further in sorafenib groups,the expressions of VEGF also varied greatly.[Conclusion] Sorafenib can extend the survival time,reduce tumor angiogenesis.And we can conclude that administration of sorafenib before the transient increased expression of VEGF offers survival benefits than that after the evaluation of VEGF levels.

Objective To explore the relationship between different blood glucose levels and new carotid artery plaques.Methods A total of 5 440 participants met the inclusion criteria were selected stratified randomly from the 101,510 serving and retired workers of Tangshan Kailuan Company who participated the health examination from 2006 to 2007.The follow-up health examination were respectively preformed from 2010 to 2011 and from 2012 to 2013 which included carotid ultrasound for these 5 440 participants.The 5 440 participants were divided into three groups (ideal blood glucose group,impaired fasting glucose group and diabetic group) according to their fasting glucose levels in 2010-2011 examination.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors of new carotid artery plaques.Results Among 5 440 subjects,participants whose FPG,ultrasound data incomplete and ultrasound detection of carotid plaques during the 2010-2011 health examination were excluded,then 3 084 participants were included in this study,among them,175 participants who did not participate the 2012-2013 health examination and 561 participants whose carotid plaque ultrasound data incomplete were excluded.Thus,a total of 2 348 participants were included in the present analysis.The total detection of new carotid artery plaque rate was 15.0％ (352/2 348) after 2 years of follow-up.The detection of new carotid artery plaque rate in normal glucose group(n =1724),impaired fasting glucose group(n=464) and diabetic group(n=160) were 14.2％(245/1 724),14.9％(69/464) and 23.8％(38/160),respectively.The diabetic group was higher than that of the ideal blood glucose group and the impaired fasting glucose group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Impaired fasting glucose group and diabetic group had an increased risk of new carotid artery plaque compared with those in ideal glucose group(OR =0.924,95％CI 0.691-1.235 and OR =1.733,95％CI 1.107-2.713,respectively),the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After adjusted for the other risk factors,with the risk-adjusted ratio (OR =1.117,95％CI 0.824-1.513 and OR =1.393,95％CI 0.872-2.226).Conclusion The detection of new carotid artery plaque increase in the diabetic group.However,after adjustment for other risk factors associate with emerging danger of new carotid artery plaque is no significant difference.This requires more long-term follow-up study of a large sample to be further confirmed.

Objective To investigate the correlation of the 24?hour ambulatory systolic blood pressure (SBP) and carotid intima?media thickness(CIMT) in the elderly. Methods A total of 2 464 who were more than or equal to 60 years old participants were selected with random sampling in accordance with the inclusion criteria from the retired workers in Tangshan Kailuan Company. Dynamic blood pressure monitoring, neck vascular ultrasound and other examination were performed for the participants. . Multivariable linear regression analysis was used to analyze correlation between the SBP of 24?hour, daytime and nightime with CIMT, respectively. Results ( 1) The observation population was divided into three groups according to the tertiles of SBP of 24?hour, daytime and nightime, respectively. With the levels of different SBPs inceasing, CIMT values thickened markedly ( P<0. 01 ) . ( 2 ) Multivariable linear regression analysis showed that after adjusting for confounding factors,the SBP of 24?hour,daytime and nightime associated with CIMT positively and linearly(P<0. 05),and regression coefficient(95%CI) were 0. 022(0. 009-0. 035), 0. 021(0. 008-0. 035), 0. 019 ( 0. 006-0. 032) respectively. In addition,clinic SBP step into the multivariable linear regression,and regression coefficient ( 95%CI ) were 0. 016 ( 0. 003-0. 029 ) , 0. 016 ( 0. 003-0. 030 ) , 0. 019 ( 0. 007-0. 032 ) , respectively. Conclusion The effect of increased 24?hour ambulatory SBP on CIMT was greater than the clinic SBP. Active monitoring of 24 h ambulatory blood pressure and maintaining a low level of blood pressure is essential for preventing and delaying atherosclerosis.

Objective To investigate the effect of folic acid intervention on plasma homocysteine (Hcy) metabolic changes and pulse wave velocity(PWV)in patients with type H hypertension. Methods Patients(hos-pitalized from March 2014 to December in our hospital)with H type hypertension were randomly divided into treat-ment group and control group randomly ,and were given routine antihypertensive drug therapy. Treatment group was given oral folic acid 0.8 mg,1 times a day,the control group was given placebo,1 times a day. All patient were treated for 12 months. Changes of plasma Hcy and PWV levels were observed. Results 432 patients(Han nationality)with type H hypertension were enrolled in this study with the age of 61.7 ± 13.6 years old and the ratio of men and women is 1.3:1. The most common diseases were coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes mellitus. 2 groups were treated for a period of 12 months,with follow-up time from 6 to 10 months(average duration in 8 months). After treatment,the difference between plasma Hcy(Z=-7.63,P=0.000)and PWV(Z=-3.16,P=0.002)levels of the two groups were statistically significant. Conclusion Folic acid intervention can significantly reduce the level of plasma Hcy in patients with type H hypertension ,slow down the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risk factors of cardiovascular disease.

Objective: To investigate the changes of oxidative stress in kidney of type 2 diabetic rats after sleeve gastrectomy and its effect on renal function. Methods: Twenty male SD rats were fed with high-fat diet and injected with streptozotocin intraperitoneally to induce type 2 diabetes mellitus. Seventeen successful induction models were divided into sham operation group (n=7) and sleeve gastrectomy (SG) group (n=10) by random number table method, and were treated with sham operation and SG respectively. The body weight, 24-hour food intake, fasting blood glucose (FBG)and serum glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) were measured before and 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks after operation. The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase, glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and malondialdehyde in renal tissue as well as blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine levels and 24-hour urinary microalbumin (UALB) were measured 4 weeks after operation. Masurement data conforming to normal distribution were expressed as Mean±SD, and t-test was used for comparison between two groups. Results: At the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th weeks after operation, the levels of FBG in SG group was lower than those in sham operation group [(11.13±3.27) mmol/L vs (16.74±4.10) mmol/L, (9.53±2.82) mmol/L vs (19.31±3.66) mmol/L, (6.69±2.44) mmol/L vs (20.84±2.71) mmol/L, (6.58±2.96) mmol/L vs (19.99±2.85) mmol/L, all P<0.05]. In the same period, the levels of serum GLP-1 in SG group was higher than those in sham operation group [(22.61±2.92) pg/mL vs (15.42±2.39) pg/mL, (24.72±3.02) pg/mL vs (16.20±2.26) pg/mL, (24.59±2.85) pg/mL vs (15.84±2.75) pg/mL, (26.15±3.23) pg/mL vs (15.77±2.79) pg/mL, all P<0.05]. At the 4th week after operation, BUN[(5.34±0.82) mmol/L], creatinine[(39.78±6.13)]μmol/L, UALB[(31.18±6.88) mg/24 h] and renal creatinine[(5.84±0.85) nmol/mg] in SG group were lower than those in sham operation group [BUN (9.08±1.54) mmol/L, creatinine (64.07±8.63) μmol/L, UALB (67.64±9.07) mg/24 h, creatinine (10.78±1.28) nmol/mg], and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Renal SOD[(620.05±55.98) U/mg], CAT[(24.72±2.28) U/mg] and GSH-Px[(281.53±27.99) U] in SG Group were lower than those in sham operation group [SOD(392.52±45.97) U/mg, catalase (15.62±2.46) U/mg, GSH-Px (164.71±21.83) U], and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Conclusion Sleeve gastrectomy may improve renal function through reducing oxidative stress in the kidney.

Objective To study the relationship of pulse pressure index (PPI) with intracranial and extracranial arteriosclerosis.Methods Two hundred and fifty-five patients with cerebrovascular disease,peripheral vertigo and headache admitted to our hospital were divided into normal control group (n=99),plaque group (n=53),mild stenosis group (n=53) with a stenosis rate of ＜30％,moderate stenosis group (n=29) with a stenosis rate of 30％-69％,and severe stenosis group (n=21) with a stenosis rate of 70％-99％ according to their head and neck CT vascular imaging.The patients were further divided into intracranial stenosis group (n=68) and extracranial stenosis group (n =35).Their general condition,laboratory blood test parameters,ambulatory blood pressure (ABP) and mean PPI were recorded.Results The PPI was significantly higher in mild,moderate and severe stenosis groups than in normal control group (0.41 ±0.08,0.41 ±0.05 vs 0.38±0.06,P＜0.01;0.43±0.05 vs 0.38±0.06,P＜0.05).However,no significant difference was found in PPI between intracranial and extracranial stenosis groups (0.41 ±0.06 vs 0.40±0.05,P＞0.05).Correlation analysis showed that intracranial arteriosclerosis was positively related with PPI,hypertension and age (P＜0.01),but not related with gender,diabetes,TC,TG and LDL-C (P＞0.05).Conclusion PPI is related with intracranial arterosclerosis.

Purpose/Significance To analyze the characteristics of organ representation of anatomical ontologies,and to provide ref-erences for the research and construction of ontology in other fields.Method/Process The similarities and differences of three mainstream anatomical ontologies of SNOMED CT(SCT),Uberon and the foundational model of anatomy ontology(FMA)in terms of organ classifi-cation methods and term mapping are compared.Result/Conclusion Among the three main types of anatomical ontologies,SCT and Uberon are mainly classified according to the function of organs,while FMA is mainly classified according to the anatomical morphology of organs.The concept of organs in FMA and Uberon is the same as the concept of entire organs in SCT,and the representation forms of paired organs in SCT,Uberon and FMA are similar.
