Objective To investigate the long-term effects of low dosage Changle intake on the serum insulin and hepatocyte glycogen of rats. Methods The levels of serum insulin and hepatocyte glycogen in rat were measured by radioimmunoassay and microscopy image analysis system after 6 and 7 months of administrated with Changle(0. 1, 0.2, 2.0 and 10.0 mg/kg). Results Taken Changle for 6 months, the serum insulin level in the 10.0 mg/kg group reduced, hepatocyte glycogen level increased in the female and the male rats. In 0.1, 0.2, and 2.0 mg/kg groups, the serum insulin level increased and the hepatocyte glycogen level decreased in the male. After 6 months of the Changle treatment, the treatment was then followed by normal food, one month later, the level of serum insulin and hepatocyte glycogen returned to the normal level. Conclusion A long-term low dosage exposure of Changle can induce the serum insulin and hepatocyte glycogen changes in rats and the serum insulin and hepatocyte glycogen levels may return to the normal levels after a short time of stopping Changle intake.

Objective:To investigate the ultrasonographic characteristics and risk factors of breast cancer internal mammary lymph node (IMLN) metastasis. Methods:A retrospective analysis of 296 first diagnosed breast cancer patients in the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University from March 2010 to May 2020. IMLN was divided into metastatic group (236 cases) and non-metastatic group (60 cases) based on pathology. Chi-square test and independent sample t test were used to analyze the ultrasound characteristics of IMLN metastasis and factors related to metastasis. ROC curve analysis of IMLNs were plotted to obtain the diagnostic thresholds and their sensitivity and specificity.Univariate and multivariate Logistic analysis was used to analyze the risk factors of IMLN metastasis. Results:①The appearances of IMLN in ultrasound were normal type, thickened-cortex type, unclear hilus structure type and thickened-nodular soft tissue type. ②In the two groups, the differences in IMLN long diameter, thickness diameter, number, and lymphatic hilum structure type were statistically significant (all P<0.05), and there were no significant differences in IMLN long diameter/thickness diameter and IMLN blood supply (all P>0.05). ③The long diameter threshold of IMLN for diagnosis of metastasis was 10.5 mm, the are under the ROC curve(AUC) was 0.825, with sensitivity of 58.5% and specificity 93.3%; thickness and diameter threshold was 4.5 mm, AUC was 0.790, with sensitivity 66.9% and specificity 75.0%. The sensitivity and specificity of the diagnosis of long-diameter combined structure type were 56.3% and 93.3%, respectively; the sensitivity and specificity of the diagnosis of thick-diameter combined structure type were 64.8% and 81.7%, respectively. The cortical thickness threshold was 1.9 mm, and the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity were 91.9% and 86.7%, respectively. ④The risk factors of IMLN metastasis inculded univariate analysis showed tumor length, tumor volume, axillary lymph node long diameter, axillary lymph node metastasis, and clavicle lymph node metastasis. There was a statistically significant difference in the pathology of the lower lymph nodes between the two groups ( P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that the long diameter of the tumor and the metastasis of the axillary lymph nodes were independent risk factors of IMLN metastasis. Conclusions:The metastatic IMLN mostly manifest as no lymphatic hilum structure or cortical thickening (≥1.9 mm), and multiple IMLN can help diagnose metastasis.Ultrasound can better assess breast cancer IMLN metastasis, and the diagnostic efficiency of IMLN long-diameter combines structure type is higher.Independent risk factors for IMLN metastasis include tumor size and axillary lymph node metastasis.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2005;22(2):339-342
Various interference and noises should be eliminated while picking up the signal of fetal heart rate from the Doppler fetal signal in order to obtain smooth curve of the fetal heart Doppler signal and so to figure out the fetal heart rate. In this study, the mean frequency shift curve estimated from the Doppler fetal signals was smoothed using wavelet transform. The results showed that the fetal-heart rate obtained by computing from the autocorrelation waveform based on the smoothed mean frequency shift curve was more accurate than that based on unsmoothed curve.

Objective:To explore the skin health of the aged in pension institutions in Luoyang and analyze its influencing factors, so as to provide a basis for building a monitoring and intervention system for the skin health of the aged. Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study. Totals of 489 elderly people living in 7 pension institutions in Luoyang from November to December 2019 were selected as the research object by stratified random sampling. The investigation was conducted with the self-designed Skin Health Questionnaire for the Aged, Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) , General Information and Disease Status Questionnaire. Single factor analysis and binary Logistic regression analysis were used to explore the influencing factors of the top three skin problems. Results:A total of 489 elderly people were surveyed and 163 did not meet the inclusion criteria. A total of 326 questionnaires were actually completed and 321 valid questionnaires were retrieved. Among 321 elderly people in pension institutions, the incidence of skin problems was 89.1% (286/321) . The top three skin problems were skin xerosis (58.3%, 187/321) , pruritus (24.3%, 78/321) and superficial fungal infections (14.3%, 46/321) , and the rest were skin lacerations, pressure injuries, subcutaneous congestion and incontinent dermatitis, with the incidence of 9.3% (30/321) , 6.5% (21/321) , 4.4% (14/321) and 2.2% (7/321) respectively. Logistic regression analysis showed that age, education level, body mass index (BMI) , frequency of skin care were the influencing factors for the occurrence of skin xerosis in the aged in pension institutions ( OR=0.474, 1.904, 0.426, 2.026; P<0.01) ; age, basic diseases, and frequency of skin care were the influencing factors of skin pruritus in the aged in pension institutions ( OR=0.645, 0.575, 1.659; P<0.05) ; age, type of medication, and MMSE score were the influencing factors for the occurrence of superficial fungal infection in the aged in pension institutions ( OR=1.646, 0.248, 4.539; P<0.05) . After the occurrence of various skin problems, most elderly people did not deal with it or deal with it by themselves. Conclusions:The aged in pension institutions in Luoyang have many skin health problems, the factors affecting skin diseases are complex, and related treatment measures are not standardized. Medical staff in pension institutions should pay attention to the assessment and management of skin problems in the aged, improve the level of skin care of caregivers, and strengthen skin care education for the aged.
