Objective To investigate the roles of transforming growth factor(TGF)-β1 gene polymorphisms in severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus(SARS-CoV)infection and the interstitial lung fibrosis after recovered. Methods Sixty-five recovered SARS patients,37 health care workers and 66 healthy controls were enrolled in this case-case study. The association between genetic polymorphisms of TG F-β1 and suscept ibility to SARS or interstitial lung changes after SARS reco, vered was carried out.Polymerase chain reaction-sequencing based typing(PCR-SBT)method was used to determine the polymorphisms of TGF-β1 gene at locus+869 and+915.Data were analyzed using t test and chi square test. Results There was no significant association of TGF+β1 gene polymorphisms at locus+869 and+915 in recovered SARS patients, health care workers and heahhy controls. And gene linkage of this two loci was not related with SARS-CoV susceptibility.Furthermore,no association between interstitial lung changes in recovered SARS palients and TGF-β1 gene polymorphisms or genetic linkage of this two loci. Conclusions It may not be related between TGFβ1 gene polymorphisms at locus+869 and+915 and SARS-CoV susceptibility. And interstitial lung changes in recovered SARS patients may not be influenced by TGF-β1 gene polymorphisms.

Objective To assess the mental health status of the pregnant women with missed abor-tion, as well as related influencing factors, and to provide the basis for mental nursing. Methods 100 pregnant women with missed abortion were chosen as the observation group by convenience sampling, while other 100 normal pregnant women as the control group. The mental state of the pregnant women in both groups was evaluated by using symptom checklist-90 (SCL-90), the results of which were then studied in contrast using t test and variance analysis. Results The total scores and the average scores of pregnant women in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group. The mental health status of pregnant women with missed abortion was influenced by age, education degree, and the times of pregnancy. Conclusions There are significant mental health problems in pregnant women with missed abortion, to which should be paid much attention. And the psychological counseling should be carried out in time in case of detrimental influences in treatment, rehabilitation, and next pregnancy.

Objective To discuss the feasibility of single hole thoracoscopy of pleural fibreboard endarterectomy surgical treatment on chronic tuberculous empyema. Methods Retrospective analysis of minimally invasive treatment of 52 cases of chronic tuberculous empyema form January 2013 to May 2016, 50 cases applied single hole thoracoscopy surgery, video-assisted mini-thoracoscopy for another 2 cases. Results There was no death, operation time 60 ~ 240 min, average 160 min, bleeding 150 ~ 2000 ml, average 350 ml, postoperative chest tube drainage time 3 ~ 21 d, average 7 d, postoperative persistent leakage in 3 patients, 3 cases of atelectasis, incisional infection in 1 case, pleural effusion in 1 case, 3 cases of arrhythmia. All the cured patients are received the corresponding treatment, the follow-up of 3 ~ 36 m, the chest CT scan show no atelectasis. Conclusion Under the condition of strict selection of indication, single hole thoracoscopy of pleural fibreboard endarterectomy in treatment of chronic tuberculous empyema is safe and feasible, so it is worthy of making further clinical promotion and application.

Objective:To investigate the reasons for efficacy heterogeneity analysis of 3 patients with pantothenate kinase associated neurodegeneration (PKAN) from one family after deep brain stimulation (DBS).Methods:Three PKAN patients with the same PANK2 gene mutation from one family, admitted to and accepted bilateral subthalamic nucleus (STN)-DBS in our hospital from May to August 2021, were selected. The clinical manifestations, including general condition, medical history, symptoms, and signs, of these 3 patients were collected; Burkefahn-Marsden Dystonia Movement Rating Scale (BFMDRS) scores and surface electromyography results were analyzed and compared before DBS and 2 weeks and 6 months after DBS. Results:The clinical phenotype of these 3 patients had obvious heterogeneity: patient 1 had the latest onset age and shortest duration, and the main manifestation included abnormal body activity and forced postures, without obvious body deformation; preoperative surface electromyography suggested that the involuntary muscle contractions intensity was the smallest, and involuntary movements characterized by alternating patterns of contractile discharge activity were the predominant. The patient 2 and patient 3 had early onset age and long course of disease with gradually aggravated disease, and manifested as lower limb claudication and involuntary limb torsion; patient 3 also had marked limb deformities; preoperative surface electromyography showed high intensity of involuntary muscle contraction and torsional spastic dystonia characterized by co-contractile firing activity. The BFMDRS scores and surface electromyography results of the 3 patients after DBS were significantly improved as compared with those before surgery, with obvious heterogeneity; the improvement rates of BFMDRS scores of patient 1, 2 and 3 were 88.1%, 60.5%, and 43.2%, and the improvement rates of surface electromyography were 82.36%, 63.79% and 72.25%, respectively,at 6 months after surgery as compared with those before surgery. Conclusion:PKAN exhibits complicated clinical heterogeneity, which is one of the reasons for efficacy heterogeneity for PKAN after DBS.

Objective:
To investigate the effect of 1q21 amplification (1q) on the therapeutic response and prognosis of bortezomib(Btz) in the treatment of newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (MM) patients.
Methods:
A total of 180 newly diagnosed MM were included for analyses of clinical characteristics, cytogenetics, objective response rate (ORR), progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS), retrospectively. Gene expression profiling (GEP) was analyzed using publicly available R2 platform.
Results:
① In 180 patients, 1q was found in 51.1% cases. Of them, 174 patients had complete follow-up data, including 88 cases with 1q and 86 without 1q (non-1q). ②Incidence of 1q was positively associated with percentage of IGH rearrangement (72.2%,
