Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2001;0(04):-
Objective To improve survival rate of hair follicle after hair-bearing scalp minigrafting and to investigate the role of microsurgery in this procedure. Methods From 1990 to 2003, 156 cases suffered from male pattern baldness (MPB) and cicatrical baldness (CB) received hair-bearing scalp minigrafting. Moreover microsurgical technique was applied to this procedure. Among of them, the largest alopecia zone was about 12.5 cm ?15 cm. Results Survival rate of transplanted hair follicles was 95% (MPB) and 89% (CB) respectively. Baldness never occured in the former alopecia zone. Survival rate of transplanted hair follicles in CB was significantly higher than that of the former reports. There were 2 cases with abnormal figure of hair margin and 4 cases with unsatisfactory hair direction in hair grafted zone. Hematoma occurred in 2 patients who had no negative effects on hair follicle after hematoma were cleaned. The other cases all obtained satisfactory postoperative appearance. Conclusions Hair-bearing scalp minigrafting, combined with microsurgery technique, can improve survival rate of hair follicle after hair transplantation. Preoperative design, choice of indication and anesthesia, etc. are very important, too.

The aim of this paper is to apply Raman spectroscopy technique to develop rapid quantitative models for five kinds of Traditional Chinese Medicine containing CaCO3. In the experiment, Raman spectras of 67 batch of sample including Otolithum Sciaenae, Galaxeae Os, Ophicalcitum, Calcite, Stalactite and their mixture which had different content of CaCO3 were collected, and the quantitative models were established by using an improved siPLS to optimize the characteristic spectral bands and using the CaCO3 contents which were measured by EDTA titration method as references. Compared with the results by EDTA titration, the established quantitative model for CaCO, content showed a prediction result that the average relative deviation of the prediction results is 2. 71% and the average recovery rate was 100.46%, when the content is between 0.465 4-0.999 7, and when the characteristic spectral bands of 1 290-1 280, 730-714, 700-690, 660-650, 465-460, 455-445, 405-385 cm(-1) had been optimized. The result also showed that the model using Raman spectroscopy and based on an improved siPLS can get a rapid determination for contents of 5 kinds of Traditional Chinese Medicine containing CaCO3.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(18):3560-3566
The aim of this paper is to clarify the mineral origin of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Yangqishi and Yinqishi and guide identification of the both, by X-ray diffraction (XRD) Fourier patterns. Morphological identification and conventional physical and chemical analysis wee used to identify 22 batches of Yangqishi and Yinqishi. It used XRD Fourier patterns which has been collected from sample powders to analyze phase composition. It has been found experimentally that the mineral origin of Yinqishi is Talc schist and the mineral origin of Yangqishi is tremolite and actinolite. The results also showed that the method using XRD can get not only an accurate but also rapid identification of Yangqishi and Yinqishi. There are many differences in medicinal properties, efficacy, indications and composition of Yangqishi and Yinqishi, so be careful not to mix them up.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2005;30(21):1717-1720
The progress of Chinese medicine modernization is slow in china, and one of the reason is the dated process method. The fermentation technology of pharmaceutical fungi is more and more perfect. To process Chinese medicine by pharmaceutical fungi could enhance the effective density of active ingredient in Chinese medicine, and the fungi could produce a variety of active secondary metabolite, moreover, some compounds in Chinese medicine could be bio-transformed to produce new compound by pharmaceutical fungi in the fermentation. So process Chinese medicine by pharmaceutical fungi could produce de novo Chinese medicine preparations which include a variety of bioactive compounds, and it is suitable to produce in a large scale and convenient to control the quality. To process Chinese medicine by submerged fermentation of pharmaceutical fungi provides a new process method for Chinese medicine.

Objective To observe the management and outcome of the cardiac tamponade patients during the ablation procedure using two different anticoagulation strategies. Methods All the patients developed tamponade during the ablation procedure were enrolled from January 2007 to December 2013 in our center. In group 1, warfarin was discontinued 3 to 5 days before the procedure and low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) was administered subcutaneously until ablation procedure day. In group 2, warfarin was not discontinued and the international normalized ratio INR was to maintained between 2 and 3. Results There were 27 patients (0.6%) developed cardiac tamponade out of a total 4487 patients received ablation in our center. The baseline clinical characteristics including age, left atrium, the heparin dose and ACT during the procedure had no signiifcant difference between the groups, except that the INR was higher in the group 2 (0.9±0.1 vs. 2.3±0.5, P<0.001). There was no signiifcant difference in the amount of pericardiac drainage between the two groups (365±222 ml vs. 506±300 ml, P=0.137). Two patients in group 1 patient (11.1%) and 1 in group 2 (11.1%) needed emergency surgical repair (P>0.999). The median hospital day was similar in the 2 groups [(9.6±3.3) d vs. (12.1±4.5) d, P=0.167]. There were no other serious complications and no hospital death. Conclusions Non-discontinuation of warfarin during peri-procedural catheter ablation of AF is not signiifcantly different to bridging with LMWH in the management and outcome of acute cardiac tamponade.

Chinese Journal of Cardiology 2008;36(2):146-150
Objective To observe the effects of N-acetylcysteine(NAC)on aging in neonatal SD rat cardiomyocytes and explore related mechanisms. Methods Cultured eardiomyoeytes were randomized assigned to 6 groups:1-day,5-day,10一day,1-day+NAC(1 mmol/L),5-day+NAC(1 mmol/L)and 10-day+NAC(1 mmol/L).Flow eytometry was used to examine cell cycle.Real-time quantitative PCR and Western blot were used to determine mRNA and protein expression of p16INK4a,p21WAF1 and Rb gene.β-galactosidase staining kit was used to investigate β-galaetosidase activity. Results Numbers of cardiomyocytes resided in G0/G1 phase were significantly higher in the group of 5-day+NAC and 10-day+NAC compared with 5-day,10-day,respectively(P<0.05).The mRNA and protein expression of p16INK4a and p21WAF1 were also significantly higher in the group of 5-day+NAC and 10-day+NAC compared with 5-day,10-day,respectively(P<0.05 or P<0.01).The mRNA and protein expression of Rb was significantly lower in the group of 5-day+NAC and 10-day+NAC compared with 5-day,10-day, respectively(P<0.01).β-galactosidase activity was not affected by NAC in the 1-day+NAC group but was significantly higher in 5-day+NAC and 10-day+NAC groups compared with the 5-day,10-day groups(all P<0.05).Conclusion NAC could promote aging through upregulating the expression of p16INK4a and p21 WAF1 and inhibiting Rb phosphorylation in neonatal SD rat cardiomyoeytes.
