Objective To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of combinational therapy (Warming Needle Moxibustion &Tuina) on patients with knee joint osteoarthritis .Methods 72 cases with definite diagnosis of knee joint osteoarthritis were ran-domlydividedintotreatmentgroup(receivedWarmingNeedleMoxibustion & Tuina)orcontrolgroup(receivedTuina)with36pa-tients in each group .The pain degree and motor function of knee joint were assessed before and after 4-courses treatment .Results The overall effect rate in treatment group was 94 .45% ,while it was 83 .33% in control group ,the difference was statistically signif-icant(P<0 .05) .VAS score and Lysholm knee scoring scale indicated that significant difference was detected in both groups after treatment(P<0 .05) ,the difference between groups was significant measured by Lysholm knee scoring scale and VAS score (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Warming Needle Moxibustion & Tuina can relieve joint pain and improve motor function of patients with knee joint osteoarthritis effectively .

Objective:To establish a determination method for isoniazid and vitamin B6 tablets by HPLC. Methods: The proce-dure was performed on an Agilent Eclipse Plus C18 (250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm) column at 30℃ and the detection wavelength was 291 nm. The mobile phase was composed of 0. 1% triethylamine [ in which 20 mg sodium 1-octanesulfonate was added and the pH value was adjusted to (3. 0 ± 0. 05) by phosphoric acid] and methanol (70∶30) at a flow rate of 1. 0 ml·min-1 , and the injection volume was 10 μl. Results:The linear range of isoniazid and vitamin B6 was within the range of 2. 535-50. 700 μg(r=1. 000 0)and 0. 137-2. 735 μg(r=1. 000 0), respectively. The mean recovery was 99. 57%(RSD=0. 89%) and 99. 59%(RSD=0. 43%) (n=9), re-spectively. Conclusion:The method is specific, accurate, sensitive and simple, which is applicable in the quality control of isoniazid and vitamin B6 tablets.

Objective To explore the curative effect of acupuncture and ultrasonic therapy on treatment of the menopausal osteo -porosis patients who suffered from pain in waist and back .Methods 120 cases menopausal osteoporosis patients from outpatients were divided into 2 groups randomly .Acupuncture and ultrasonic therapy were used in the treatment group ,soybean isoflavone was only supplied in the control group .Then pain intension and bone density in lumbar vertebrae were observed .Results Compared with control group ,the pain in treatment group relieved more effective (P< 0 .05) .The bone density in treatment group was higher than that in control group (P< 0 .05) .The efficient of treatment group is higher than control group (P < 0 .05) .Conclusion The method of acupuncture and ultrasonic therapy can improve the bone density and relieve pain .It can treat the menopausal osteoporo-sis effectively .

OBJECTIVE To investigate the changes in etiological factors and the diagnostic methods of fever of unknown origin(FUO).METHODS The clinical data were retrospectively studied from patients with FUO hospitalized in Tongji Hospital from Jan 1992 to Dec 2006.During this time,528 cases fulfilled the criteria of FUO.RESULTS Out of the 528 FUO cases,definite diagnosis was eventually achieved in 476 patients(90.2%).The most common causes of FUO were infectious diseases(54.9%),with tuberculosis accounting for 39.0%(113/290) of cases of infection.Seventy patients(13.3%) were suffered from malignancy;61 patients(11.6%) were suffered from connective tissue disease(CTD);and 55 patients(10.4%) were suffered from other diseases.However,no definite diagnosis had been made in the remaining 52(9.8%) cases until they discharged from the hospital.Pathological diagnosis(30.5%) was the most important diagnostic method,in addition constituent ratio of pathogenic microorganism detection,molecular biology identification technique,immunologic test,diagnostic therapy and imaging accounting for 21.6%,12.8%,12.2%,11.6% and 11.3%,respectively.CONCLUSIONS The causes and diagnostic method of FUO are altered in the past 15 years.Infectious diseases are still the most common cause of FUO,from which tuberculosis is the top one.The cases of fungal infection and AIDS are increased slowly.Malignancy is decreased and occupies the third place of FUO after rheu-matic diseases.Drug induced fever,various kinds of clinical symptoms and syndromes and multifactorial fevers are increased.Diagnostic methods and rate of definite diagnosis are improved.

Objective To study the efficacy and safety of mifepristone combined with the end of pregnancy in the treatment of uterine scar pregnancy.Methods50 cases of the experimental group in our hospital from February 2014 to December 2016 during the termination of pregnancy uterine scar pregnancy in this study in the research process, no scar uterine pregnancy were 50 as the control group in the process of research.The experimental group and the control group patients were given mifepristone treatment, oral use, patients in the drug treatment of third days should be carried out taking the drug misoprostol experiment, fasting medication, placed in the posterior fornix of vagina.Comparative analysis of the experimental group and the control group of patients with treatment effects and adverse reactions.ResultsAfter a period of treatment, the experimental group and the control group, the time of vaginal discharge and the amount of vaginal bleeding and uterine contractions were no significant difference in the time, not statistically significant.The experimental group of 50 patients, the number of effective treatment for 47 cases, the effective rate was 94%.The control group of 50 patients, the number of effective treatment for the treatment of 48 cases, the effective rate was 96%.As a result, there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the treatment efficacy, which was not statistically significant (P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 10%, and the incidence of adverse reactions in the control group was 8%.As a result, there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the incidence of adverse reactions, which was not statistically significant.ConclusionMifepristone combined with carboprost suppository in the treatment of uterine scar end effect is good, high treatment efficiency, reduce the incidence of adverse reaction, high safety, can reduce the patients caused by trauma to a great extent, is further applied in clinical significance.

BACKGROUND:A number of studies have been conducted on the prevention of enamel demineralization in orthodontic treatment, but no work has been carried out on the comparative studies addressing manual toothbrush, orthodontic fur V brush and interdental brush. OBJECTIVE:To compare the efficacy of manual toothbrush, orthodontic fur V brush and interdental brush on enamel decalcification during orthodontic treatment. METHODS:Adolescents, aged 12 to 17 years old, were randomly and averagely divided into three groups: manual toothbrush, orthodontic fur V brush, and interdental brush groups. Enamel decalcification index and augmenter of enamel decalcification index were examined and calculated by the same orthodontist before treatment and 1 year later. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: There was no statistical difference in the enamel decalcification index among the three groups at the beginning (P > 0.05). After 1 year of treatment, the enamel decalcification index of each group was higher than that at the beginning (P < 0.05); the enamel decalcification index and augmenter of enamel decalcification index in the three groups were ranked as folows: orthodontic Fur V toothbrush group < manual toothbrush < interdental toothbrush group , and there was a statistical significant difference among the three groups (P < 0.05). Orthodontic fur V brush is proved to have advantages over manual toothbrush and interdental brush in the respect of controling enamel decalcification, and interdental brush has no good effect on preventing enamel demineralization while it is used alone.

Objective To explore the clinical outcome of self-designed bilateral external fixator combined with limited internal fixation for the treatment of open fracture of tibial plateau.Methods From February 2001 to September 2005,23 cases of open tibial plateau fractures were treated with bilateral external fixator combined with limited internal fixation.According to Schatzker classification,there were 35 patients with type Ⅴ fracture and 18 patients with type Ⅵ fracture.According to Gustilo classification,there were type Ⅰ in 15 eases,type Ⅱ in 22 cases, type Ⅲ in 16 cases.Results The follow-up period was 5 to 22 months(mean 10 months).All the fractures got unit- ed.According to Merchant grade,18 eases were evaluated as excellent,25 as good,9 as fair.The rate of excellent and good resuhs was 83 %.Conclusion Operation by using bilateral fixator combined with limited internal fixator can make fixation stable and reduce complication.It is an effective method to treat complex fractures of open tibial plateau.

We report a case of primary sinonasal tuberculosis in a 23-year old man. He had a half-year history of headache and eye pain on the left side, and found the neoplasm of nasopharynx 15 days ago. Previously denied history of tuberculosis and contact history. After be admitted to hospital, twice biopsy from neoplasm of na- sopharynx were both of chronic inflammation. Coronal CT scan of the lesion when admission found the left parasellar region and the left sphenoid sinus soft tissue density increased, about 20 mm X 32 mm X 34 mm, left inferior wall between sella bone defects, and bone sclerosis, plain CT value was about 34 HU, the lesion protruded downward left the nasopharynx. Eight days after he was admissioned in hospital of sphenoid sinus biopsy showed granulomatous inflammation and tuberculosis diagnosis was considered. Review of the lesion is partial absorbed after 11 months of anti-tuberculosis treatment and now is still in follow-up.
