1.Correlation between aluminum overload-induced brain neurodegeneration and monoamine oxidase B in mouse brain
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(02):-
Objective:To adopt the brain lesion model of mouse induced by overload aluminum to study the relationship between monoamine oxidase B disorder and neurodegeneration induced by overload aluminum(Al).Method:Aluminum overload models were established by injection of 3?l AlCl3 into lateral ventricle of miceeach day for 5d.The AlCl3 solutions injected in different modelswere with different concentrations and they were 0.125%,0.25%,0.5%.On d10,d20,and d30 after the final administration of AlCl3 solution, the learning and memory function of mice, pathomorphology of hippocampi, and MAO-B activity were determined. Results:Aluminum overload elevated MAO-B activity, caused karyopyknosis and loss of neurons in CA1 area of hippocampi,in dose-and time-dependent manners. Conclusion:The results indicate that neurodegeneration induced by Al toxicity may be related to the monoamine oxidase B homeostasis interfered by Al overload.
2.Analysis of Oleanolic Acid with Laser Raman Spectroscopy
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(05):-
Raman bands of oleanolic acid were measured with laser Raman spectroscopy, and compared with that obtained fron IR spectroscopy. It was found that the corresponding characteristic bands of oleanolic acid can be identified in both speetroscopy.

Chinese Journal of Digestion 2001;0(09):-
Objective To investigate clinical characters of functional dyspepsia (FD) and organic dyspepsia (OD) and evaluate the Chinese management guideline of dyspepsia. Methods Three hundreds patients with epigastric dyspepsia symptoms received a series of examinations including a detailed investigation of symptoms, liver functions, upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and B ultrasound, and then they were divided into OD and FD groups in accordance with Rome Ⅱ criteria. Results 153 (51.0%) and 147 cases (49.0%) were ascribed to FD and OD respectively. FD occurred more often at the age of less than 40 ( P =0.006). The scores of such symptoms as bloating( P
5.Reprogramming in origin and development of leukemia stem/progenitor cells.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2009;17(5):1123-1126
The success of yielding induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from human somatic cells demonstrates the important role of reprogramming in the formation of stem/progenitor cells and initiates the exploration of the origin of leukemia stem cells. In our previous work, we have found two types of leukemia, bona fide leukemia and non-bona fide leukemia. Different leukemias originate from different leukemia stem/progenitor cells which are critical to the genesis and evolution of leukemia. Bona fide leukemia and non-bona fide leukemia originate from leukemia stem cells and progenitor cells, respectively. Recent research suggests that different types of leukemia are influenced by the reprogramming state of their origin cells.

Chinese Journal of Clinical and Experimental Pathology 2010;(1):56-59
Purpose To study the clinicopathological features, immunophenotype and differential diagnosis of spindle cell rhabdomyosarcoma in adults (SRMS).Methods The clinical, pathologic and immunohistochemical features were evaluated in 9 cases of SRMS in adults. Results Nine cases of SRMS in adults were retrieved from the pathological archive of this hospital. 7 cases were male and 2 were female. Patients age ranged from 20 to 80 years (median,45 years). The head and neck region, including the right mandible, pharyngeal portion, nasopharynx, and left maxillary, was the most commonly affected area, accounting for 44% of the cases, followed by forearm, waist, thigh, leg and testis(1 case each). Tumor size varied from 2 to 14 cm (median 5.9 cm).Histologically, all the tumors were mainly composed of cellular bands and fascicles of atypical spindlE-shaped tumor cells with a variable number of spindled or polygonal rhabdomyoblasts. In addition, focal areas reminiscent of interstitial sclerosing were presented in 2 cases, and pseudovascular structures were noted in 2 cases, loosely myxoid stroma were detected in 1 case and small solid areas with mild pleomorphic tumor cells were present, but lacking bizarre pleomorphic rhabdomyoblasts. Immunohistochemically, the tumor cells were positive for vimentin, desmin, CD99 and MyoD1; Myogenin and MSA were positive in most of the cases (6/9 and 7/9 each); The remaining antibodies(S-100, CD34,CK and HMB-45) were all negative. Follow-up information was available in all the cases, ranged from 6 months to 4 years, revealed paravenous metastases of the peritoneal cavity in one patient with testis tumor and liver metastases in one patient with leg tumour. 4 patients developed local recurrences and 2 patients died of the disease. Conclusions SRMS is a rare neoplasm in adults, and most commonly occurs in male with preferential involvement in the head and neck region. It appears a more aggressive clinical course in adults. Morphologically, SRMS in adults should be differentiated from other spindle cell tumors.

Vascular endothelial growth factor is a vascular endothelial cell-specific mitogen. It is the most important angiogenic factor.VEGF expresses highly after cerebral infarction. It plays importmt roles in angiogenesis and neuroprotection. At the same time, its overexpression will also increase vascular permeability;thereby it may aggravate brain edema. This article reviews the advances in research on VEGF and its receptors and cerebral infarction.
8.Functional multi-polarization of white blood cells and its significance.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2010;18(1):1-6
Immune and hemopoiesis are one of basic project of experimental hematology. Immune function is a essential activity of white blood cells. It was puzzled for the diversity and complexity of immune response. Polarized immune response of immune cells was discovered 30 years ago, which facilitates the study on differentiation of lymphocyte. Recently recognition on multifunctional polarized immune response of lymphocyte and monocyte/macrophage would promote to elucidate the regulatory network of immune cells, diversity and complexity of immune response as well as the study on hemopoiesis. In this paper the approach of multifunctional polarized immune response of lymphocyte, monocyte/macrophage and dendritic cells were reviewed, and their role, especially in cytokine storm and tumor pro-inflammation condition were discussed.

9.Application of traditional Chinese medicine in IVF-ET.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(16):3142-3146
The factors impacting the pregnancy rate and the live birth rate mainly include ovary function disorder and low endometrial receptivity, which can cause the difficulty in embryo implantation, early miscarriage and pregnancy failure. In recent years, researchers of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) have made active efforts in assisting IVF-ET, so as to achieve a great advance in improving the ovary reaction, treating the ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), improving the follicle, embryo quality and endometrial receptivity and protecting the fetus, which had been summarized in this article.
