Objective To determine the content of paeoniflorin with different medicinal parts in Radix Paeoniae Alba and offer a reference for collection and processing. Methods The content of paeoniflorin was measured by HPLC method. Combining air drying with weight relief condition, the content of paeoniflorin was calculated in fresh Radix Paeoniae Alba. Results There was the highest content of paeoniflorin in Radix Paeoniae Alba in 24～48 hours after collection, and the another increasing of the content was founded 120 hours after collection. Conclusion Radix Paeoniae Alba should be processed in 48 hours after collection.

Objective To observe the serum γ-glutamyltransferase (γ-GGT) levels in patients with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in different immune status and investigate their relationship with HBV DNA loads and ALT levels. Methods Blood samples were collected from 191 patients with chronic HBV infection in different immune status, including inactive HBV carrier state (group B,n = 55), immune tolerance phase (group C, n=47), HBeAg-negative CHB (group D, n =17), immune-reactive phase (group E, n=72) and 61 healthy individuals ( group A) for the detection of the serum γ-GGT, ALT level and HBV DNA loads. Results γ-GGT level were obviously higher in groups D and E than those in groups of A, B and C (P<0.01). Correlation analysis showed that the γ-GGT levels were positively correlated with serum ALT , AST levels in HBeAg-negative CHB and immune-reactive phase , but not correlated with HBV DNA loads. Conclusions The levels of γ-GGT are different during different immune status in patients with chronic HBV infection. The increased serum γ-GGT level may be an indicator for patients with chronic HBV infection entering immune active phase. The liver inflammation is the major impact factor to the γ-GGT levels.

Objective To investigate the immune injury in genital tract of BALB/c mice induced by plasmid protein pORF5 of Chlamydia trachomatis and its possible mechanism.Methods GST(glutathione-S-transferases)-pORF5 fusion protein was expressed and digested with PreScission Protease to obtain the target protein without GST tag.After further purification and endotoxin removal,pORF5 protein was injected into the posterior fornix of BALB/c mice on day 1,3 and 6,while the control groups were injected with PBS or GST protein respectively,and then all the mice were sacrificed on day 7 to evaluate genital tract gross pathology and histopathological characterization.The levels of TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 in serum,splenocytes culture supernatant and vaginal douche were detected by ELISA.Results Mice in pORF5 group developed different degrees of swelling in isthmic portion and ampulla of uterine tube,connective tissue adhesion and hydrosalpinx in the genital tract tissues,while the PBS group and the GST group did not show any obvious change.The inflammatory score showed that the genital tract pathology in pORF5 group was much more severe than PBS and GST control groups (P＜0.O1).The levels of TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 in vaginal douche and splenocytes culture supernatants in pORF5 group were obviously higher than those of PBS and GST groups (P＜0.05).The levels of TNF-α and IL-1β in serum were also higher than those of GST and PBS groups (P＜0.01).Conclusion pORF5 plasmid protein could induce pathological immune response in the genital tract of BALB/c mice,which may be associated with the increase of the production of the inflammatory cytokines TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 in BALB/c mice.

Objective:To evaluate the knowledge, attitudes and practices ( KAP) on National Essential Medi-cine System among pharmacists from secondary public hospitals in Shaanxi province. Methods: The quantitative re-search of KAP questionnaire is used, and the content of questionnaire includes personal information, knowledge, atti-tudes and practices. Results: A total of 520 copies of questionnaires were distributed and 82. 3% were effective. Respondents’ overall knowledge and attitudes are at the middle level;the main way to obtain knowledge is via training and meeting;respondents’ education level and frequency of participating in training have a significant impact on their level of knowledge;the degree of attention paid by hospitals has yet to be strengthened; and respondents are mostly concerned about the supply and distribution of essential drugs. Conclusion: In order to improve the awareness and recognition levels of pharmacists on the implementation of National Essential Medicine System in secondary public hospitals, the government should take the relevant measures, including introducing the high educated persons into secondary public hospitals, organizing related training programs and standardizing the daily monitoring of essential drugs in secondary public hospitals, etc.

Objective To discuss the feasibility, safety and validity of the use of ViabahnTM self-expanding covered stent in endovascular repair of peripheral traumatic pseudoaneurysm (TPA). Methods During the period from June 2012 to April 2014, a total of 8 patients with peripheral TPA were admitted to the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery of Shanghai Changzheng Hospital . The clinical data were retrospective analyzed. The lesions were located at the common carotid artery (n=4), vertebral artery (n=1), subclavian artery (n=1) and superficial femoral artery (n=2). On the basis of acute and chronic TPA classification and different therapeutic principles, endovascular repair with ViabahnTM self-expanding covered stent was employed in 8 patients. Intraoperative angiographic findings, the size and number of the implanted stent, and the immediate angiographic results after stent implantation were recorded. All the patients were followed up to evaluate the improvement of the symptoms, the effectiveness of the repair of TPA cavity, and the occurrence of endoleak or restenosis. Results Successful implantation of ViabahnTM self-expanding covered stent was accomplished in all 8 patients, with a technical success rate of 100%. Angiography performed immediately after stent implantation showed that complete repair of TPA cavity was obtained in all patients, the distal segment of the parent artery was patent, and no endoleak was observed. The sizes of the stent used in the patients were 8×50 mm (n=2) and 9×50 mm (n=2) in common carotid artery, 6×50 mm (n=1) in vertebral artery, 11×100 mm (n=1) in subclavian artery, and 8×100 mm (n=2) in superficial femoral artery. The patients were followed up for 6-30 months (mean of 14.3 months), and the clinical symptoms disappeared in all patients. CT angiography indicated that there was no endoleak or restenosis. Conclusion Based on the different therapeutic principles, the use of ViabahnTM self-expanding covered stent in endovascular repair of peripheral TPA is technically simple and micro-invasive, and clinically feasible with reliable effect and safety. Therefore, this technique can be employed as a first-line therapy option for peripheral TPA.

Objective: To investigate the influencing factors and population attributable risk percent (PAR%) of low back pain in automobile assemblers. Methods: A total of 634 assemblers from 11 automobile manufacturers in Shiyan City, Hubei Province were chosen as research subjects using judgment sampling method. The prevalence of low back pain in the past one year was investigated using Musculoskeletal Disorders Questionnaire. PAR% was used to analyze the contribution of influencing factors to low back pain. Results: The annual prevalence of low back pain was 68.8%. The results of multivariate logistics regression showed that length of service>15 years, high school or secondary college education or above, standing most of the time, sitting most of the time, the proportion of cumulative time of poor posture in work shift time ≥1/8, and bending for insufficient height of working space were the risk factors for low back pain (all P<0.05). The PAR% of the proportion of cumulative time of poor posture in work shift time ≥1/8 was 43.0%, 37.8% for standing most of the time, and 12.8% for bending for insufficient height of working space. Conclusion: The annual prevalence of low back pain was higher in automobile assemblers. The influencing factors included individual factors and occupational factors. The proportion of cumulative time of poor posture in work shift time ≥1/8, standing most of the time and bending for insufficient height of working space should be taken as the priority intervention factors to reduce the prevalence of low back pain among assemblers in this enterprise.

Objective To explore the feasibility and safety of carotid artery stenting (CAS) via right transradial approach (TRA).Methods A retrospective analysis was made on 46 cases undergoing the CAS via right TRA.Patients were divided into the right carotid artery group (RCA),bovine left carotid artery group (B-LCA),nonbovine carotid artery group (NB-LCA) according to the lesion location.Low TRA or high TRA were selected to overcome the difficulties of insufficient supporting power,using techniques such as catheter looping and retrograde engagement technique(CLRET).Results CAS were successful in all cases (100％),the differences of the operation time and fluoroscopy time among RCA group,B-LCA group and NB-LCA group were not significant.In NB-LCA group,CLRET were applied in 10 cases (55.56％,10/18),includeing 8 cases with type Ⅲ aortic arch(100％,8/8)and 2 cases with type Ⅱ aortic arch (33.33％,2/6).The CLRET prolonged the operation time and fluoroscopy time [(39.45 ±7.27) min vs.(30.80±4.66) min;(11.84 ± 2.05) min vs.(9.91 ± 1.45) min,P ＜0.05).There was no cerebrovascular events and puncture point complications in perioperative period.Conclusion Right transradial approach for carotid artery stenting is safe and technically feasible,especially in RCA stenosis and LCA stenosis with type Ⅰ or Ⅱ aortic arch.

Objective: To conduct a follow-up investigation of structural changes of the corpus callosum fibers of toddlers (2 to 5 years of age) with autism spectrum disorder(ASD) and to explore the associations with clinical symptoms. Method: In this prospective randomized controlled study, ASD children who were diagnosed in the Child Mental Health Research Center, Nanjing Brain Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University from May 2011 to November 2012 were included in the ASD group, and developmentally delayed children were included in the control group (DD group). Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) data from the two groups were obtained at two age levels: 2-3 years of age, and 4-5 years of age. Region of interest analysis was applied to assess characteristic values of total area and sub-regions of corpus callosum: the fraction anisotropy (FA), the mean diffusivity (MD), the radial diffusivity (RD) and the axial diffusivity (AD). All children were assessed using the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) and Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC). The characteristic values of total area and sub-regions of corpus callosum of ASD group at two age levels were analyzed by paired sample t test; the characteristic values of total area and sub-regions of corpus callosum of ASD group and DD group were analyzed by independent-sample t test; the correlations between FA values of the total area and sub-regions of corpus callosum and ADI-R or ATEC scores were analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis. Result: Forty cases meeting inclusion criteria were enrolled in ASD group, and 31 eligible cases were enrolled in the control group. Four children in the ASD group were lost to follow-up, and 5 children in the control group were lost to follow-up. Longitudinal comparison between the two age subgroups of ASD patients showed that the FA values of the total corpus callosum increased (0.499 55±0.027 59 vs. 0.505 83±0.086 64, t=4.88, P<0.05), but MD values, RD values and AD values of the total corpus callosum area decreased (0.000 89±0.000 03 vs. 0.000 81±0.000 14, 0.000 61±0.000 04 vs. 0.000 55±0.000 09, 0.001 43±0.000 03 vs. 0.001 38±0.000 03, t=9.31, 7.90, 8.66, P<0.05 for all comparisons). In the area of corpus callosum genu, FA and AD values increased (t=5.59, 8.48, P<0.05 for both comparisons), but MD and RD values decreased (t=12.67, 11.28, P<0.05 for both comparisns). In the area of corpus callosum body, FA and RD values increased(t=5.46, 8.48, P<0.05 for both comparisons), but MD and AD values decreased (t=8.08, 6.22, P<0.05 for both comparisons). In the area of corpus callosum splenium, MD, RD and AD values decreased (t=6.81, 4.44, 5.51, P < 0.05 for all comparisons). Among the participants 2 to 3 years of age, there were no significantly differences in FA values of total area and sub-regions of corpus callosum between ASD group and the DD group (P > 0.05 for all comparisons); as compared with the DD group, ASD group had higher AD values of total area and splenium of corpus callosum (0.001 43±0.000 03 vs. 0.001 40±0.000 04, 0.001 34±0.000 03 vs. 0.001 32±0.000 04, t=1.56, 1.14, P < 0.05 for both comparisons); ASD group had lower AD values but higher RD and MD values of corpus callosum genu (t=0.07, 0.55, 0.07, P < 0.05 for all comparisons); ASD group had lower RD values of corpus callosum body (t=0.07, P < 0.05). Among the participants 4 to 5 years of age, as compared with the DD group, ASD group had higher FA value of total corpus callosum area(0.505 83±0.086 64 vs. 0.483 77±0.099 30, t=8.56, P < 0.05), lower RD value of total corpus callosum(0.000 55±0.000 09 vs. 0.000 56±0.000 12, t=14.44, P < 0.05), lower RD values of corpus callosum body (t=2.20, P < 0.05), higher FA values (t=3.35, P < 0.05) but lower AD values of corpus callosum splenium (t=2.20, P < 0.05). A correlation analysis between FA values of total area and sub-regions of corpus callosum and clinical variables showed that the FA values of total area and splenium of corpus callosum in ASD group at 2 to 3 years of age were negatively correlated with the scores of language skills in ATEC (r=-0.35,-0.36, P < 0.05 for both comparisons). And after two years, FA values of total corpus callosum were positively correlated with the scores of social communication in ATEC (r=0.34, P < 0.05). There was no significant correlation between FA values of sub-regions of corpus callosum and the scores of ATEC (P > 0.05 for all comparisons). There was no significant correlation between FA values of total area and sub-regions of corpus callosum and the scores of ADI-R (P > 0.05 for all comparisons). Conclusion The fiber structure of corpus callosum was still in the process of maturing during the age of 2 to 5 years; however, compared with DD group, ASD group had more extensive structural abnormalities of the corpus callosum fibers as age increased, and the structural abnormalities had correlation with the core symptoms of ASD. OBJECTIVE: To explore the prevalence of work-related low back musculoskeletal disorders(WMSDs) among electric welders in an automobile factory and to analyze its individual influence factors. METHODS: A total of 754 electric welders with a service length ≥1.0 years from an automobile factory in Shiyan City were selected using judgment sampling method. The Musculoskeletal Disorders Standard Questionnaire was used to collect the information of low back WMSDs. RESULTS: The annual prevalence of low back WMSDs among electric welders was 65.9%(497/754). The prevalence in females was higher than that in males(78.4% vs 63.1%, P<0.01). The prevalence of WMSDs had a rising tendency with age, educational level and service length(P<0.01). The multivariate logistic regression analysis results showed that the risk factors for low back WMSDs were age, gender, and educational level(P<0.05).CONCLUSION: The prevalence of low back WMSDs of electric welders in the automobile factory is high. Gender, age and educational level are the main risk factors affecting low back WMSDs.
