Objective To explore the relationship of the expression, regulation and adhesion of PTA1 in pregnancy induced hypertension(PIH). Methods The expression, regulation and adhesion of PTA1 on vascular en- dothelial cells incubated by sera from 10 PIH patients and 10 normal pregnant women repectively was detected by flow cytometry. Results The positive rate of PTA1 15.51% (24h) and 6.32 % (48h) in PIH group is significantly higher than that 7.81% (24h) and 4.72 % (48h) in normal pregnant woman group( P < 0.01 ). After the incubation with platelets, the positive rate of PTA1 6.64% (24h) and 4.13% (48h) in PIH group is lower than before(P< 0.05). The PTA1 expression 8.11% (24h) and 4.28% (48h) in PIH group is much lower after blocking with PTA1/IgG than that before(P < 0.01 ). Conclusion There are some abnormal stimulated factors in PIH patients, which activate vascular endothelial cells. PTA1 plays an important role in the adhesion of platelets to vascular en- dothelial cells, PTA1 is closely related to the progress of PIH which indicates that PTA1 directly or indirectly takes part in the pathophysiologic consequences of PIH.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of supplementing qi and activating blood circulation method (YQHX) on platelet aggregation rate (PAgR), platelet adhesion rate (PAdR) and thromboxane B2(TXB2) level in patients with stable angina pectoris and intolerable to aspirin.
METHODSSeventy-six out-patients with stable angina (qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrom) pectoris intolerable to aspirin were randomized into two groups, 40 in the treated group and 36 in the control group. Both received conventional Western medicinal treatment with YQHX to the treated group additionally, for 1 month. PAgR, PAdR, TXB2 level, platelet count, hemoglobin concentration and fecal occult blood were measured before and 1 month after treatment, and the cardiac events as well as diges tive symptoms occurred in the observation period were recorded.
RESULTSPAgR, PAdR and TXB2 level lowered in the treated group after 1-month treatment showed a significant difference to those of baseline, and also to those in the control group (all P <0.01). But no significant difference was found between pre-treatment and post-treatment, also between the two groups in platelet count, hemoglobin concentration, fecal figure and incidence of adverse cardiac events, as well as digestive symptoms (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONYQHX can effectively inhibit the platelet function in patients with stable angina pectoris without aggravation of digestive symptoms. Cardiac event reducing effect of YQHX was not seen in this study, it is necessary for large sampled study for confirmation.

According to documents of recent fifty years the article summarized the herbalogical study, processing, chemical constituent, quality standard, pharmacologic action and clinical study of Oroxylum indicum. The chemical constituents mainly are flavonoids, glycoside and volatile oil. It also contains pterocarpan and rhodioside with p-hydroxyphenylethanols and cyclohexanols. Quantitative index was added in the quality standard of china pharmacopeia since 1995, but the quantitative standard is blank at the present, and the baicalin was mostly used for quantitative standard in the documents which lack of mark. Baicalein -7-O-diglucoside didn't existed in the other plants. It's mark will do good to the enhancement of quality standard. Pharmacologic action and clinical study were mainly anti-inflammatory, anti-mutagenesis, antibiosis, anticancera, and coughing.
