To carry out research on the construction of standardized digital research platform of traditional Chinese medicine.Beginning from the consolidation of data usage resources,the strengthening of environmental construction,the improvement of quality on database creation and the perfection of training mechanism,the construction of standardized digital research platform of traditional Chinese medicine can be improved with the times,adapting to the times and meeting the demands of society.To meet the demands,the construction of digital scientific research foundation platform was perfected by improving quality and emphasizing on application.The service capabilities of standardized Chinese medical information can be promoted by establishing a new information scientific research model.

Objective To study the anti-injury effects of grape seed proanthocyanidin (GSP) on the umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC)injured by hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) and its mechanism. Method Oxidative damage model of endothelial cell was induced by H2O2,and the cells were divided into five groups,including normal groups,oxidative damage group and three (100,50,10 ?g/ml) GSP pretreated groups. MTT assay was used to detect the protection of GSP,Reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) was used to detect the protein expression in mRNA level of monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP-1) and flow cytometry(FCM) was used to detect apoptosis rate and quantitate the expression of intercellular adhesion molecule(ICAM-1)and vascular cell adhesion molecule ( VCAM-1). Results The cell optical density in oxidation damaged group was lower than that in normal control. When pretreated by GSP,the OD value was increased,and was insignificantly different between high GSP group and normal control. In H2O2 damage group,the expression of MCP-1 mRNA and the apoptosis rate were increased,and the numbers of positive cells which express ICAM-1 or VCAM-1 were obviously more than those in pretreated groups respectively.Futhermore,these effects were dose dependent. Conclusion GSP has the protective effect on oxidative damage of HUVEC. The mechanism may be related to stabilization of cell wall and inhibition of inflammatory reaction and apoptosis induced by ICAM-1,VCAM-1 and MCP-1.

AIM To study whether cyproheptadine(Cyp) affects endocrine functions in reproductive system with gender difference. METHODS Sixty SD rats were randomly distributed into 3 groups according to gender, respectively, and they were administered NS(5 mL*kg-1*d-1), Cyp 2.4, 4.8 mg*kg-1*d-1 accordingly by ig for 14 d or 21 d. The serum levels of luteinizing hormone(LH), follicle stimulating hormone(FSH), testosterone(T), progesterone(P), estrodiol(E2) were measured by radio-immunoassay and the ultrastructure of gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH) cells, gonadotropin cells, Leydig cells, Sertoli cells, luteal cells, granulocytes and so on were observed by electronmicroscopy and microscopy. The calmodulin(CaM) mRNA expression in hypothalamus-pituitary-testis axis(HPTA) was detected by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS Cyp(2.4 mg*kg-1*d-1×14 d, ig) increased serum LH concentration while decreased serum FSH, P concentrations in female rats. Cyp(4.8 mg*kg-1*d-1×14 d, ig)increased serum LH, T concentrations in males, and increased serum LH concentration while decreased serum FSH, E2 and P concentrations significantly in females. The retrograde changes of ultrastructure were observed in part of gonadotropin and ovary endocrine cells, while a stimulating one in testis endocrine cells. CaM mRNA expression levels were elevated in testis but not in hypothalamus and pituitary in male rats. CONCLUSIONCyp had a negative effect on endocrine function in females, but a positive one in males. The ultrastructure showed relevant changes in target gland. Cyp promoted CaM mRNA expression in testis,which had close connections with Cyp′s stimulative effect in HPTA.

AIM:To investigate the impact of various levels of glucose on endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) proliferation, senescence, and nitric oxide (NO) secretion,and the effect of insulin under high glucose conditions.METHODS: Mononuclear cells were collected from rat bone marrow by density gradient centrifugation, cultured with medium 199, and identified to be EPCs at 7th day by flk-1 and AC133 double staining. EPCss were harvested and incubated with glucose (5, 10, 20, 40 mmol/L) or insulin (0.1, 1, 10, 100 nmol/L) under high glucose conditions for 24 h or 7 days. Objective To investigate the incidence and influencing factors for sharp injuries occurred in workers in central sterile supply departments (CSSDs).Methods In October-November 2012,a multicenter cross-sectional survey was conducted,a total of 95 workers in CSSDs of 16 hospitals in Hunan Province were surveyed through questionnaires.Results A total of 89 workers (93.68%)in CSSDs sustained sharp injuries,46 (48.42%)of whom sustained 1 -5 times of sharp injuries,22(23.16%)sustained 6-10 times of sharp injuries,and 11 (11 .58%)sus-tained for at least 10 times of sharp injuries.81 workers (85.26%)sustained at least one time of sharp injuries one year before survey,52 (54.73%)of whom were injured by contaminated needles or other sharps.Logistic regression analysis revealed that higher educational background was protective factor for sharp injuries(OR 90%CI :0.05-0.87);while poor sleep quality(OR 90%CI :1 .03-17.94),frequent touching sharps(OR 90%CI :1 .11 -12.15),and irrational placing of objects by the other medical stuff (surgeons and nurses in operating rooms)(OR 90%CI :1 .23-16.98)were the risk factors for sharp injuries.Conclusion The incidence of sharp injuries among workers in CSSDs is high,which is related to personal factors and environmental factors.It is suggested to strengthen staff training to enhance their awareness of precaution.

Objective To analyze the genotype distribution of human papillomavirus( HPV) strains and their epidemiological characteristics in cervixes of Chinese females. Methods Pertinent litera-tures published during 2004 to 2013 were screened from PubMed,China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI)and Wanfang database for data analysis. Results There were 245 studies screened out for the me-ta-analysis. A total of 661 658 cases met the inclusion criteria,ranging from 16 to 87 years old. All prov-inces and territories of China were covered by the data. The overall rate of HPV infection in cervix was 25. 0% among Chinese females. The predominant high risk genotype of human papillomavirus strains was HPV16,followed by HPV52,HPV58,HPV18,HPV33 and HPV31. HPV52 and HPV58 genotypes were more prevalent than HPV18 genotype. HPV35 and HPV45 genotypes were less popular. Conclusion The study suggested that the HPV infection showed obvious regional differences in genotypes. The genotype dis-tribution of HPV infection in China was different from that in other regions of the world. There were differ-ences with genotype distribution of HPV strains among seven geographic regions of China.

Objective To study the value of clinical application of leukocyte classification alarm system (Q‐Flag ) for Sysmex XT‐1800i blood cell analyzer .Methods 394 blood samples with alarm system (Q‐Flag) and 190 ones without abnormal alarm infor‐mation detected by the Sysmex XT‐1800i blood cell analyzer were performed to observe the quantity and morphology of blood cells by manual differentiation ,and the results were compared between them .Results The alarm system of Sysmex XT‐1800i blood cell analyzer in detecting cell morphologic abnormalities was 100 .0% for sensitivity ,62 .3% for specificity ,70 .8% for positive predic‐tive value and 100 .0% for negative predictive value .Based on thegold standardof manual differentiation ,no abnormal cells were observed in those blood samples without Q‐Flag alarm information and the coincidence rate was 100% .The coincidence rate of leu‐kocyte classification was from 0 .0% to 75 .0% for blood cell analyzer when the alarm system (Q‐Flag) was between 100U and 200U ,and that was from 66 .7% to 95 .6% when the alarm system (Q‐Flag) was between 200U and 300U .Conclusion The alarm system sensitivity of leukocyte classification alarm system (Q‐Flag) is high for Sysmex XT‐1800i blood cell analyzer ,and it is nec‐essary to manually differentiate the samples with abnormal Q‐Flag in order to provide accurate and reliable clinical diagnostic infor‐mation .

Objective To investigate awareness about tuberculosis (TB) prevention and treatment and influence of professional training on TB detection among health-care workers (HCWs) in general hospitals.Methods In total,750 HCWs were trained for TB-related knowledge for eight class-hours in a two-day course in three general hospitals,and 20 HCWs from each of the three hospitals classified as grade 3A and grade 2A in urban Beijing and grade B at suburban Beijing,respectively,were interviewed with questionnaire designed to understand their awareness about TB prevention policy,epidemiology,diagnosis and treatment,and to evaluate effectiveness of the training,respectively.All the trainees responded before and after the training,with a hundred percent of response rate.TB diagnosis and reporting one year before training in the three hospitals were compared to those one year after it.Results Scores of knowledge about TB diagnosis and treatment averaged 64-80 for HCWs before training,with statistically significant difference among three hospital (F = 5.984,P ＜ 0.01).Scores increased after training,but without significant difference from those before it (P ＞ 0.05).Awareness of TB prevention policy,regulations and epidemiology was insufficient in most HCWs of those hospitals,with lowest and highest average scores of 38.3 and 71.7 before training,respectively,but scores increased significantly after training (P ＜ 0.01).Proportion of TB diagnosis with chest roentgenograph at grades 3A and 2A hospitals was significantly higher one month,three months and six months after training,as compared to that at suburban hospitals (P ＜0.01).There was significant decrease (P ＜ 0.01) in proportion of chest roentgenograph at respiratory departments in hospitals grade 3A and grade 2A after training.There was no significant difference in reporting of pulmonary TB and positive sputum smear (P ＞ 0.05) before and after training.Conclusions HCWs in general hospitals had experience and capacity in diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary TB,but their knowledge of TB prevention policy and epidemiology was insufficient.Their ability in finding and reporting TB can not been improved with short-term training.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate clinical efficacy and safety of tiopronin combined with lamivudine in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with chronic hepatitis B. METHODS:150 cases diagnosed as pulmonary tuberculosis with chronic hepatitis B were randomly divided into group A(drug combination group),group B(lamivudine group)and the group C (control group),with 50 cases in each group. 3 groups were given isoniazid+rifapentine+ethambutol+levofloxacin(2HTELfx/4HT) anti-TB treatment and liver protection treatment,etc. Group B was additionally given Lamivudine tablet orally,0.1 g,qd;group A was additionally given Tiopronin tablet 0.3 g,tid,on the basis of group B. The treatment course of 3 groups lasted for 6 months. Liver damage,serum fibrosis indexes of 3 groups were observed in 3 groups before and after treatment as well as hepatitis B virolo-gy indexes,clinical efficacy and the occurrence of ADR after treatment. RESULTS:After treatment,serum levels of ALT,AST and TBIL weresignificantly increased in group C,significantly decreased in group A,with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in above indexes of group B before and after treatment(P>0.05). Serum levels of ALT,AST and TBIL after the treatment:group A0.05). Serum fibrosis indexes of group A and B decreased significantly compared to before treatment,with statistical significance (P<0.05);serum fibrosis indexes after the treatment:group A0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Tiopronin combined with lamivudine can significantly reduce liver function damage caused by an-ti-TB drugs. It is conducive to the smooth progress of tuberculosis chemotherapy with fewer adverse reactions.
