Objective: To explore the security and the radical and clinical value of thoracoscopic-laparoscopic esophagectomy with two-field lymph node dissection for middle esophageal cancer through comparison with open esophagectomy. Methods: A total of 410 stage II to stage III esophageal cancer patients who underwent two-field lymph node dissection with two different methods (thora-colaparoscopic esophagectomy and open esophagectomy) from January 2009 to July 2013 in Uninon Hospital, Fujian Medical Universi-ty, were analyzed retrospectively. General pathological parameters, operative procedures, and short-term outcomes were collected and compared between the two groups (TLG and OG). Results: No significant differences were found regarding general pathological pa-rameters, such as gender, age, etc. Significant differences between thoracolaparoscopic and open two-field lymph node dissection esoph-agectomy were observed in terms of esophagectomy intraoperative blood loss [(206 ± 138) mL vs. (240±111) mL] and the mean num-ber of dissected lymph node per person [(26.6±8.6)/per vs. (21.7±9.2)/per]. Overall postoperative morbidity rate in OG was 35.2%, and its difference from that of TEG (25.8%) is statistically significant (P<0.05). Regarding single complications, such as pulmonary infec-tion and arrhythmia, OG showed evidently superior results (P<0.05). Meanwhile, anastomotic stricture and hoarseness rate are higher in TEG (P<0.05), and the difference was statistically significant as well. Conclusion: Thoracolaparoscopic two-field esophagectomy is technically feasible and safe and can achieve radical tumor resection.

ObjectiveTo study how to diagnose thrombosis of intracranial venous sinus and cerebral venous thrombosis(CVT). Methods6 cases with intracranial venous sinus and CVT were analysed by clinical features and imaging signs. ResultsMost patients had symptoms and signs of intracranial hypertension. Some patients manifested symptoms of whole brain or focal neurological deficits. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance venography (MRV) play important roles for the diagnosis of intracranial venous sinus and CVT, however, digital subtraction angiography (DSA) is one of the most reliable method for early diagnosis of the above diseases. Conclusions According to clinical features and imaging signs, intracranial venous sinus and CVT could be diagnosed accurately .

Objective To investigate the association of MRI features with HER-2 expression in non-mass-like breast carcinoma. Methods 74 patients with breast cancers diagnosed by pathology underwent MRI prior to surgery, and all lesions were non-mass-like enhancement on dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI.The expression of HER-2 in tumor tissue was detected by immunohistochemical staining.Chi-square test,Fisher’s exact test and spearman rank correlation were used to evaluate the correlations between the morphological characteristics, dynamic enhanced MR parameters,ADC value and HER-2 expression. Results The tumor size was correlated positively with the expression degree of HER-2 (r=0.341,P =0.003).The ADC value was also correlated positively with the positive expression degree of HER-2 (r=0.31 7,P =0.006).However,the time to peak was correlated negatively with that (r =-0.244,P =0.036).No significant correlations between the distribution/internal enhancement manner, the type of time signal intensity curve and HER-2 expression were found (all P >0.05).Conclusion Tumor size, time to peak and ADC value are correlated with the expression of HER-2 in non-mass-like breast carcinoma, which is helpful for the treatment plan and prognosis evaluation for this cancer.

Lonicerae Japonicae Flos was one of the most widely used traditional Chinese medicine for its special biological activities. The content of luteoloside, one of its major compounds, was an important standard for the quantity control of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos. The major method used for the detection of luteoloside was instrumental analysis. Compared with the ELISA method, instrumental analysis was time-consuming, complex pretreatment and low-throughout. Thus, it was significantly important to develop an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for luteoloside analysis. Here, the conjugates of luteoloside-bovine (LG-BSA) and luteoloside-ovalbumin (LG-OVA) were produced as the immunogen and coating antigen by the carbodiimide ( CDI) method, respectively. The conjugation ratio of carrier protein and the hapten in the conjugate were determined by UV-Vis spectrophotometry (UV). LG-BSA conjugate was used to immunize Bal b/c mice to produce antiserum. The titer and specificity of antiserum were detected by ELISA. The conjugation ratio of hapten and carries protein were 3. 7: 1 (LG-BSA) and 1. 0: 1 (LG-OVA). The antiserum titer was higher than 2 000 with the linear range of 18.4-4 852.4 μg x L(-1), R2 = 0.988 4 and IC50 = 298.7 μg x L(-1). The result showed that the conjugate antigen LG-BSA was synthesized successfully and the mice can produce specific antiserum injected with artificial antigen.

Chinese Journal of Pediatrics 2018;56(4):303-307
Objective:
To analyze the clinical characteristics of eperythrozoonosis complicated with hemophagocytic syndrome (HPS) in 4 children.
Methods:
Four patients diagnosed with eperythrozoonosis complicated with HPS in the Children's Hospital Affiliated Capital Institute of Pediatrics during the period from June 2014 to July 2016 were enrolled. The clinical manifestations, laboratory examination data and therapeutic strategies were analyzed. A literature search (search terms included 'eperythrozoonosis’ and 'hemophagocytic syndrome’) was conducted using CNKI, Wanfang database, Chinese biomedical literature database and PubMed to include recently published studies (searched from the database establishment to January 2017).
Results:
Four patients were included in the study. One was boy and the other three were girls. The age range of the 4 patients was between 9 months and 17 years (9 months, 2 years and 17 years, 11 months respectively). All the patients presented with recurrent high fever. During the course of fever, 3 patients presented with rash, and 2 patients presented with joint pain and swelling, which mimicked systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Only 1 patient had the contact history of infectious disease. All patients had normal or decreased white blood cell count ((0.80-13.12)×109/L), suffered from varied degrees of anemia and showed the increased C reactive protein (13.0-84.7 mg/L) anderythrocyte sedimentation rate (13-72 mm/1 h). Examination of peripheral blood smears confirmed eperythrozoonosis. After fever continued about 1 month, all the 4 patients rapidly progressed. Among the 4 patients, 1 patient died for giving up further therapy, and the other 3 patients completely recovered after treatment, including azithromycin for the treatment of eperythrozoonosis, and high-dose intravenous methylprednisolone pulse therapy and human immunoglobulin for the treatment of HPS. For the disease not satisfactory, the hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis-2004 (HLH-2004) protocol is given. After the hospitalization of 1 to 2 months, the conditions improved and the children were discharged from hospital. Three patients were followed up for 8 months to 2 years, and their conditions were stable. In the PubMed database, no report was found. Nine cases of children with eperythrozoonosis were found in CNKI, Wanfang database and Chinese biomedical literature database, and 1 case was complicated with HPS. These findings, taken together our report, provided the data of 5 children with eperythrozoonosis complicated with HPS (4 cases were younger than 2 years old). A patient had contact history of infectious disease. Five patientss showed fever of unknown origin. All the patients had severe eperythrozoonosis, and 2 cases at younger age died.
Conclusions
Children with eperythrozoonosis often present with the protracted fever of unknown origin, and clinical manifestations mimic those of juvenile idiopathic arthritis (systemic type). The patients with eperythrozoonosis of mild-to-moderate disease severity may have a good prognosis. Children with severe eperythrozoonosis, especially those HPS cases with early onset before 2 years old, may have high risk of mortality. Once the patient's condition aggravates in the course of fever, HPS should be highly suspected. For the patients with eperythrozoonosis complicated with HPS, early diagnosis and the combination of anti-infection with the treatment of HPS are crucial for a good prognosis. For the treatment of HPS, HLH-2004 protocol is recommended.

Chinese Journal of Traumatology 2007;10(1):59-62
OBJECTIVETo prepare and observe the physicochemical properties of scaffold materials of heterogeneous deproteinized tissue-engineered bone.
METHODSDeproteinized bone was made through a series of physicochemical treatments in pig ribs and analyzed with histological observation, scanning electron microscopy, infrared spectrum, X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive analysis, Kjeldahl determination and mechanics analysis.
RESULTSInterstitial collagen fiber was positive and mucin was negative in deproteinized bone, but, both were positive in fresh bone. Deproteinized bone maintained natural pore network. Its pore size was 472.51 micromolar+/-7.02 micromolar and the porosity was 78.15%+/-6.45%. The results of infrared spectrum showed that collagen was present in deproteinized bone. Both fresh and deproteinized bone had curve of hydroxyapatite. The Ca/P ratios were 1.71+/-0.95 and 1.68+/-0.76 (P larger than 0.05), and the protein contents were 26.6%+/-2.23% and 19.1%+/-2.14% (P less than 0.05) in fresh and deproteinized bone, respectively. There was no significant difference of destruction load under compression and maximal destruction load between fresh and deproteinized bone (P larger than 0.05). The elastic modulus was higher in deproteinized bone than that in fresh bone (P less than 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSPhysicochemical properties and mechanic strength of deproteinized tissue-engineered bone meet the demands of ideal scaffold materials. But, its immunogenicity should be observed through further experiments for its clinical applications.
