1.EFFECTS OF IODINE DEFICIENCY ON THYROID HORMONES AND NUCLEAR T_3 RECEPTORS IN RAT CEREBRUM
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1985;0(01):-
We observed the changes of cerebral nuclear T3 and its receptors and T4 5'-deiodinase activity in the fourth or fifth filial generations of the rats with long term iodine deficiency. The cerebrum was dissected on the 20th day postpartum. The results showed that the maximal binding capacity of nuclear T3 receptor was significantly lowered, but the affinity constant was essentially unchanged. Also, the concentration of nuclear T3 and the T4 5'-deiodinase activity were decreased markedly. It was concluded that 1) A decrease of cerebral nuclear T3 receptor was induced by long term iodine deficiency in rats; 2) T4 5'-deiodinase activity rather than serum T3 level could reflect more precisely the cerebral nuclear T3 concentration; and 3) The decrease of T3 receptor may presumably be the initial step of endemic cretinism caused by severe iodine deficiency.
2.Study on immunotherapeutic effect of fresh rabbit serum on rabbits with acute experimental serum sickness
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(02):-
An experiment was done to determine the immunotherapeutic effect of fresh rabbit serum on rabbits with acute experimental serum sickness(AESSR)induced by injecting large dose of bovin serum albumin(BSA),accoeding to the report that complement has the complement-mediated solubilization capacity of IC(CMSC).The results showed that CMSC and CH50 level in serum of rabbits treated with fresh serum were markedly higher and CIC was obviously lower than those of positive control group(p

4.Whole exome sequencing in the application of hereditary breast cancer susceptibility gene discovery
Tianjin Medical Journal 2017;45(6):660-662
Genetic susceptibility factor is one of the important reasons to induce breast cancer. Breast cancer risk variants are divided into three categories including high, moderate and low penetrances. Traditional BC susceptibility gene discovery approaches limit the search for breast cancer susceptibility genes with high and moderate risk variants. Whole exome sequencing technology provides a quick and efficient method to discover breast cancer susceptibility genes. At present, a number of breast cancer susceptibility genes have been identified by whole exome sequencing method, which provides useful guidance for the risk assessment and pathogenesis of hereditary breast cancer. In this paper, we reviewed the whole exome sequencing technology and discussed the experimental design, data filtering strategy, statistical significance and correlation analysis.
5.Cultivating students' innovative ability in the clinic teaching of thoracic surgery
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2011;10(5):606-608
It is an important goal of the modern medical education to culture the innovative ability of medical students. In the clinic teaching of thoracic surgery, illuminating innovative thinking, optimizing and recombining teaching contents, flexible utilizing of teaching approach and methods, and innovating practical teaching are in favor of creating the innovative thinking and innovative ability of the students.

7.Expression of micro RNA-125b in female patients with nodular goiter and Hashimoto's thyroiditis
Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2017;16(2):140-143
Twenty four female patients underwent thyroidectomy between June 2015 and August 2016,among whom 11 cases were pathologically diagnosed as nodular goiter (NG group),and 13 cases were diagnosed as nodular goiter complicated with Hashimoto's thyroiditis (NG + HT group);meanwhile,17 female patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT group) and 20 healthy females (control group) were also recruited in the study. The expression of micro RNA(miR)-125b was evaluated by quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR),the expression level of tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) was analyzed by Western blotting in thyroid nodules and adjacent thyroid tissue in NG and NG + HT groups.Serum expression of miR123b was detected in all 4 groups.qRT-PCR results showed that the expression of miR-125b was down regulated by 0.55 fold in thyroid nodules of NG + HT group compared to NG group (t =2.873,P < 0.01).The serum expression levels of miR-125b in control group,NG group,HT group and NG + HT group were 1.00,1.06,0.92 and 0.79,respectively,the expression level in NG + HT group was significantly lower than that of control group (q =4.717,P < 0.01).Western blot showed that the expression of TNF-α in thyroid nodules of NG + HT group was significantly higher than those in nodules of NG group and adjacent thyroid tissues of both groups. The results suggest that miR-125b might serve as a promising diagnostic biomarker of Hashimoto's thyroiditis in patients with nodular goiter.
8.Analysis to construction of literature exchange platform between TCM libraries of Across-Straits
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2011;33(1):59-60
Objective To explore the feasibility of constructing literature exchange platform between TCM libraries of Across-Straits, focusing on current situation of TCM libraries. Methods Originally scattered, multivariant, and isomeric TCM literature resources were united to one whole through simple and effective mode for the purpose of increasing literature usage. Results The exchange platform between TCM libraries of Across-Straits was established. Conclusion This platform was suitable for scientific research, teaching, clinical practice and science popularization.

10.Effect of sedation on respiratory function of patients undergoing mechanical ventilation
Chinese Critical Care Medicine 2017;29(9):857-860
Sedation and analgesia for ventilated patients is an important treatment in intensive care unit (ICU). Patients receiving mechanical ventilation therapy comfortably and safely can improve patient-ventilator synchrony, reduce ventilation-related lung injury (VILI), improve compliance, decrease oxygen consumption and stress, prevent accidents, and reduce the incidence of complications and mortality in critical patients. Although sedation mayprotect lung function, it also has a greater impact on respiratory function. Therefore, based on domestic and overseas related researches about sedation therapy in ventilated patients, we expounded on the effects of sedation therapy, different sedatives and different sedative methods on respiratory function of ventilated patients. The effects of sedation improving patient-ventilator synchrony or protecting pulmonary function as well as problems about inhibition of spontaneous respiration or delayed extubation were discussed to provide references for sedation treatment in patients with mechanical ventilation.
