Objective:To investigate the effects of indicated concentrations VEGF and DEX on MMP-9 expression and motility of Tca-8113 cell. Methods:Immunohistochemistry and RT-PCR methods were used to detect protein and mRNA changes of MMP-9 in tongue squamous cell with VEGF and DEX treatment. Statins are a class of hydroxymethylglutaryl-CoA (HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitors, which are pervasively used to reduce blood cholesterol concentration in hypercholesterolemic patients and prevent cardiovascular diseases in clinic, duo to excellent drug efficiency and good safety. In recent years, increasing evidences have demonstrated that statins have potential anti-tumor effect through inhibiting cancer cells growth, invasion, metastasis, preventing angiogenesis, promoting cancer cells apoptosis and synergetically enhancing the effect of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. However, there are no domestic reports about statins' effect on endometrial carcinoma, additionally, conclusions of related foreign studies are inconsistent. This review summarized the effect of statins on endometrial carcinoma.

OBJECTIVE: To systematically understand natural philosophical medical mode that is the important component part of theoretical medicine studies, to further explain its theoretical values and application significance, so as to promote the constant improvement of medical mode.DATA SOURCES: Based on Social Medicine---Evolution of Medical Mode---Empirical Medical Mode, synthesized the features of TCM, Chinese thought history, Chinese cultural history and the research method features, puts forward to the systematic understanding of natural philosophical medical mode.STUDY SELECTION: Data was selected from social medical data, TCM data, Chinese cultural data and thought history data. The selected data can embody outlook of nature, abstract thinking features and mode features.The data was analyzed and grouped to reveal the application of the thoughts and methods of natural philosophy in the understanding of health and diseases.DATA EXTRACTION: Among 23 papers, the data was mainly selected from 6 papers including Shanggu Tianzhen Lun, Shengqi Tongtian Lun and Zangqi Fa Shi Lun. The thoughts, theory and understanding from these materials are used to expound the natural and social phenomena of the human body, and get the conclusion that the qualitative analysis is sufficient,while the quantitative concepts are scanty; subjective experiences and clinical disproof theory are plentiful while concrete proof analysis and morphological injury principles are scarce.DATA SYNTHESIS: Based on the influences of holism and methodology of natural philosophy, the natural philosophical medical mode can only grasp the life phenomena organically. It attaches importance to the generalization of the relationships and phenomena above the level of the human body, but pays less attention to the concrete structure analysis below the level of human body. Therefore it emphasizes the interactive roles of the four-dimension structure of the heaven, earth, people and ethics in human health and diseases, invented many difficult material concepts to specify the physiological and pathological concepts. The life principles are invariable, the content of qi mechanism remains constant. All diseases can be understood, syndrome-differentiated and presc ribed. However the medical concepts are mostly cited from ancient philosophical concepts and the general level of medical theory remains in this level of thoughts.CONCLUSION: Natural philosophical medical mode centers upon social science, social phenomena and social psychology as its main tool. It attaches more importance to the essential attribute of man, namely the social attribute. By contrast the biological medical mode attaches importance to the natural attribute of man. namely the biological attribute. The two factors constitute the two sides of one thing. Compared with the present medical mode of biology---psychology---society, the natural philosophical medical mode not only has its systematic nature and holism, but also clinical therapeutic theory and more operational nature. It may enlighten people's wisdom and is an art of understanding health and diseases. Thus it possesses very important research significance and clinical application values.

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of combination of Beyond cold light whitening and fluoride-removing material bleaching system for treatment of dental fluorosis. Methods: Seventy-five patients with light, medium and heavy dental fluorosis were randomly divided into three groups. Twenty-five patients with 150 dental fluorosis from the experiment group were treated with Beyond cold light bleaching combined with fluoride-removing material;Twenty-five patients with 148 dental fluorosis from the control group one were treated with Beyond cold light bleaching. Twenty-five patients with 148 dental fluorosis from the control group two were treated with fluoride-removing material. The changes of teeth color were evaluated by Vita shade guide matching after treatment. Results: All of the light dental fluorosis in three groups had good lightening efficacy and 100% bleaching efficacy. The Shade value improvement and overall efficacy of observer group were better than the control groups for the medium and heavy fluorosis(P<0.05). Conclusion: Beyond cold light whitening combined with fluoride-removing material in bleaching is a good method for dental fluorosis bleaching.

Breast cancer is a kind of hormone-dependent tumor,the high level of estrogens is an impor-tant risk factor of breast cancer.There is evidence that estrogens through estrogen receptor (ER) signaling pathways and estrogen metabolic products participate in the development and progression of breast cancer.Recentally,studies demonstrated that SDF-1 and its receptor CXCR4 are involved in breast cancer.Estro-gens play an important role in the growth,proliferation and metastasis of breast eaneers through SDF-1/CX-CR4 signaling pathways.These findings may'provide a novel therapeutic target for breast cancer.

Laboratory medicine plays an important role in health diagnosis and treatment,as a component of medicine,it is very important to pay attention to education and training for "two sides" in laboratory medicine.In the article,we discussed the concept for laboratory medicine and groups situation in clinical laboratory,the classification and the position of the"two sides"as well as training in clinical laboratory.

OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality standard of Liuwei dihuang pill (concentrated pill). METHODS:Radix Rehmanniae Preparata,Dioscorea opposita,Poria cocos and Alisma orientalis in Liuwei dihuang pill (concentrated pill) were identified by TLC and the contents of paeonolum and loganin were determined by HPLC.RESULTS:The TLC spots were clear and well-separated yet free of interference of negative sample.The linear ranges of paeonolum and laganin were 0.100 6～1.006 ?g (r=0.999 9) and 0.309 6～2.322 ?g(r=0.999 6),respectively,and their recovery rates were 98.2%(RSD=2.3%,n=6) and 95.3%(RSD=0.42%,n=6),respectively.CONCLUSION:The established standard is applicable for the quality control of Liuwei dihuang pill.
