3.Correlation research in different coping styles and psychological reaction of parents whose children with developmental dislocation of the hip
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2011;27(16):22-24
Objective To understand the relevance of different coping styles and psychological reaction of the parents whose children with developmental dislocation of the hip (ODH). Methods To use symptom checklist (SCL-90) and simple coping style questionnaire, 96 parents of DDH children were questionnaired of the coping styles and psychological symptoms, and compared with the national norm, derived from the rating scale and the relationship between coping styles. Results Psychological symptom score of parents of DDH children was higher than the national norm, the psychological symptoms was objective, compared with the national norm, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety were statistically significant; interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety was positively correlated with coping actively, somatization was positively correlated with the negative. Conclusions Parents of DDH children should be given more psychological counseling and psychological care,it may reduce the incidence of psychological symptoms, make them to take the right way to deal with.
4.Applications and advances of flow fluorescence microbeads array
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2008;31(3):172-175
Flow fluorescence microbeads array is a novel high throughput technique based on the combina tion of use of flow cytometry and use of fluorescence encoded microbeads as the solid phase for conventional im munoassay, affinity assay and DNA hybridization assay,.which offers a new approach to multiplexed assays for ap plications of large-scale screening.By utilizing appropriate fluorescence encoded micron-sized polymer particles, flow fluorescence microbeads array can be created to enable highly muhiplexed analysis of complex samples.Indi vidual sets of microbeads can be modified with reactive components such as antigens, antibodies or oligonu eleotides, then mixed with each other to form a multiplexed assay set.Flow fluorescence microbeads array com bines the specificity of fluorescence-encoded microbeads and the high sensitivity of flow cytometry, bears signifi cant potential as a general analysis platform for both research and clinical applications.Recent applications and advances are reviewed in this article.
5.Comparison between acute physiology and chronic health evaluation Ⅱ and Ⅳ in mortality risk prediction of 192 servere acute pancreatitis patients
Chinese Journal of Digestion 2016;36(3):177-181
Objective To compare the efficiency of acute physiology and chronic health evaluation (APACHE)Ⅱ and Ⅳ in mortality risk prediction of severe acute pancreatitis (SAP).Methods From January 2013 to December 2014,SAP patients admitted to intensive care units (ICU) were retrospectively analyzed in single center. The clinical data of the first 24 hours since the patients admitted into ICU were collected. The modified Marshall score,APACHE Ⅱ and APACHE Ⅳ score were calculated. The mortality risk predictive value of each patient was calculated by APACHE Ⅱ and APACHE Ⅳ.According to the final clinical outcome of patients,Hosmer-Lemeshow was performed to compare real mortality rate with predictive mortality rate, and calibration of APACHE Ⅱ and APACHE Ⅳ in the mortality risk of each patients was evaluated. The resoluation of the two scoring systems was compared by the area under the receiver operator characteristic curve (AUC).Results In the end,192 patients (152(79.2%) survivors and 40(20.8%) dead) were enrolled.Modified Marshall score,APACHE Ⅱ score and APACHE Ⅳ score of patients in dead group was 6.30±0.36,21.3±8.0 and 88.1± 30.2,respectively;and those of survival group was 3.70 ± 0.20,12.3 ± 5.6 and 53.4 ± 19.0,respectively,and the differences between two groups were statistically significant (t-6.436、-6.683、-6.913,all P< 0.01).The results of Hosmer-Lemeshowin calibration of APACHE Ⅱ and APACHE Ⅳ indicated that both two systems could predict mortality risk of SAP patients well (P> 0.05).The AUC of APACHE Ⅱ score (cut-off ≥26) and APACHE Ⅳ score (cut off≥91) was 0.81(95%CI 0.74 to 0.89) and 0.83(95%CI 0.75 to 0.90),respectively,and the difference was not statistically significant (x2 =0.21,P=0.644),which indicated that there was no statistically significant difference in calibration. Conclusions APACHE Ⅳ scoring system is not better than APACHE Ⅱ scoring system in prognosis prediction of SAP patients. The prognosis of SAP patients could be accurately evaluated by APACHE Ⅱ.

The Journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association 1990;25(3):676-683
Open fracture characteristically has higher chances of infection and sof tissue damage in comparison with closed fracture. In spite of the development of operation methods and antibiotics, complications such as infection, nonunion, delayed union, and joint stiffness are continuously confronted as problems in the field of orthopedics. Different methods of treatment have been advocated as regards the care of the open wound and the method of stabilization of the fracture fragments. Therefore a comparative analysis of the type of open fracture and the bone union time according to the initial treatment methods was made from 47 cases over the age of 20, who were followed up until bone union developed among the inpatients who were treated for open fracture of tibia in the period of 7 years from January, 1982 to December, 1988, and the results are as follows: 1. The highest incidence of fractures was encountered in 3rd decade(34%) and male to female ratio was 6:l. 2. The most common cause of fractures was traffic accident(76.6%). 3. The most common level of fracture was in mid one-third and the bone union time was longest in mid one-third. 4. The bone union time was longer, and the rate of complication was greater in order of type 1, 2 & 3 according to Gustilo's classification. 5. The good result was obtained in type 1 fractures, by using the closed reduction & cast immobilization and pin & plaster method; in type 2, the bone union time was shortest in the cases of pin & plater method; in type 3, the bone union time was shortest in the cases of closed reduction or open, reduction & external fixation. 6. Bone union was obtained in all cases of delayed union and nonunion and the bone union time was shortest in cases treated with plate & bone graft.

Korean Journal of Psychosomatic Medicine 2013;21(1):55-61
OBJECTIVES: Alzheimer's disease(AD) and mild cognitive impairment(MCI) affect several nervous structures involved with the autonomic nervous system. Association between neuropsychiatric deficits and heart rate variability has been observed. But cardiac autonomic function in AD has been scarcely studied and the results reported are conflicting. We investigated autonomic function in normal control, MCI, AD using heart rate variabil-ity(HRV) technique. METHODS: Time and frequency-domain variability of 5-min R-R interval series was comparatively evaluated in 26 normal control subjects, 22 MCI subjects and 34 AD subjects. Analysis of variance(ANOVA) was used to compare the differences across groups. Correlations between MMSE-KC and HRV components were performed using Pearson's correlation coefficient. RESULTS: No significant difference was observed among the groups in time, frequency-domain analysis of HRV (p>0.05). HRV were not found to be significantly correlated with the degree of cognitive impairment. CONCLUSIONS: There were no differences in HRV with MCI, AD subjects when compared with normal controls. Further investigation is required to use HRV technique as noninvasive parameters of MCI and AD.
