[Objective] To study the effect of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)on proliferation of human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells(h-MSCs)and its chondrogenic differenciation and to provide a basis for the tissue engineering technology of articular cartilage.[Method]The hMSCs were cultured in vitro as usual and its passage was induced the by medium containing 800 ng/ml or 1600 ng/ml the VEGF MSCs the cultured in the medium containing 10 ng/ml the TGF ?-1 which the had multiple the biological efficacies the to enhance the proliferation the of MSCs the and to the inhibit the activities of the inflammatory factors, acted as a positive control. The induced MSCs were used to observe its proliferation and differenciation. The synthesis of chondrocyte extracellular matrix in different induce-factor was measured by immunohisto-chemical staining.[Result]MSCs cultured wit different induced factors proliferated well,MSCs induced by VEGF medium showed a well growth activity and chondrogenic differenciation, but MSCs cultured in TGF?1-containing medium induced more chondrocyte matrix than that in VEGF medium.[Conclusion]VEGF induces chondrogenic differentiation of MSCs in vitro, but MSCs cultured in TGF?1 medium induces more chondrocyte matrix. It is suggested that VEGF acts as donor of inducer message cartilage repair by MSCs.

Objective To investigate the correspond of microsatellite instability (MSI) on the prognosis and the effect of chemotherapy for colorectal cancer. Methods The publications about the MSI of colorectal cancer from January 2011 to October 2012 were searched. The Web of Knowledge and MEDLINE (PubMed) databases were used for searching English articles. The CNKI and WanFang databases were used for searching Chinese articles.Statistical analysis and graphics were performed with Comprehensive Meta Analysis V2 software. Results Thirty papers were included in this study. For the prognostic Meta-analysis,MSI-H was a protective factor for the overall survival of patients (OR =0.634,0.558-0.720; P < 0.001).Simultaneously,MSI-H was a protective factor for the disease-free survival of patients (OR =0.571,0.479-0.681; P < 0.001).After using of 5-Fu,the survival rate of MSS/MSI-L patients could be significantly elevated (OR =0.515,0.433-0.611; P < 0.001).However,the survival rate of MSI-H patients did not increase significantly (0.631,0.302-1.318; P =0.220).Conclusions Both the overall survival and disease-free survival of MSI-H patients were significantly better than that of MSS/MSI-L patients. For MSS/MSI-L patients, the chemotherapy effect was remarkable. However, for MSI-H patients, there was no statistics difference between chemotherapy and no-chemotherapy group.

OBJECTIVETo explore the correlation among some biochemical indexes in the fluoride workers.
METHODSThe activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), catalase (CAT), alkaline phosphatase (AKP) and the level of calcitonin (CT), parathyroid hormone (PTH), IgG, IgA, IgM, Cu2+, Zn2+, Ca2+, Mg2+ and Se2+, F- in serum and in urine were measured in fifty male fluoride workers and fifty controls.
RESULTSThe levels of F-, CT, PTH, AKP and GSH-Px in serum and F- in urine in exposed group were significantly different from that in control group. Correlation analysis indicated that F- in urine and CAT(r = 0.3133, P < 0.05), CT and PTH(r = 0.5173, P < 0.01), Se2+ and CAT(r = 0.4354, P < 0.05) were positively correlated. There were significantly negative correlation between F- in serum and GSH-Px (r = -0.5202, P < 0.01) and positive correlation among Cu2+, Zn2+, Ca2+ and Mg2+ in serum.
CONCLUSION(1) Excess of fluoride may affect secretion of calcium adjusting hormone (CT, PTH); (2) Changes of AKP and GSH-Px may be regarded as health monitoring indexes; (3) The correlation of biochemical indexes plays an important role in studying the mechanism and the early prevention and treatment of industrial fluorosis.

Objective:To analyze the influenza vaccination status of chronic disease management patients in Qingpu district of Shanghai and the vaccination characteristics of different characteristic populations, so as to provide scientific basis for improving the influenza vaccination rate of chronic disease patients in the community. Methods:By comparing the data of Shanghai chronic disease management information system, immunization planning information system and medical association platform, 89 453 subjects who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in Qingpu district were selected as the research objects. The vaccination coverage rate of the study subjects was calculated according to gender, age group, urban and rural distribution, occupation, chronic disease type and quantity, and the vaccination coverage rate of different subgroups was compared to analyze the influencing factors of vaccination coverage rate. Results:Most of the 89 453 patients with chronic diseases were 60 years old and above (71.93%). Patients with hypertension, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmoriary disease (COPD) and three chronic diseases accounted for 87.12%, 28.67%, 8.71% and 1.83%, respectively. Influenza vaccination coverage in the 2016/2017 flu season was low, at 0.32%. Influenza vaccination coverage rate of women (0.37%) was higher than that of men (0.27%), which was 1.41 times respectively(95% CI: 1.16, 1.72) that of men patients. The coverage rate of influenza vaccination for the 70-79 year-old group was the highest (0.74%), which was 1.74 times respectively(95% CI: 1.39, 2.19) that of 60-69 year-old patients. The vaccination coverage rate of government departments and institutions was the highest (1.14%), which was 12.58 times respectively(95% CI: 4.52, 34.99) that of retirees. The vaccination rate of COPD patients (3.68%) was 2.50 times (95% CI: 1.66, 3.77) higher than that of patients without COPD.Conclusions:Influenza vaccination rate for chronic disease management patients in Qingpu district of Shanghai is low. Gender, occupation, age and types of chronic diseases are the influencing factors. Patients with chronic disease management should be included in the priority vaccination targets for influenza vaccines, and vaccination intervention for occupational chronic diseases such as non-retired agriculture and forestry patients, especially male patients, should be strengthened to improve influenza vaccination coverage rate.
