1.An analytic method of wavelet energy value to evaluate the contraction intensity of uterus.

The data of uterine contraction pressure is the information source for extracting uterine contractions status. Because there is a variety of interference existing in contraction pressure data, commonly used methods such as uterine contraction intensity integration method can not obtain decent evaluation results. We used the bior 2.4 biorthogonal wavelet to decompose and reconstruct the pressure data in order to obtain the best denoising effect. Combining with the denoised results, we proposed an algorithm of the wavelet energy value. Based on the algorithm, we calculated the curve of wavelet energy value. It was proved that using the curve of wavelet energy value can better identify contractions waveform and evaluation contractions intensity.

3. Effects of human amniotic epithelial stem cells-derived exosomes on healing of wound with full-thickness skin defect in rats

Objective:
To investigate the effects of human amniotic epithelial stem cells-derived exosomes on healing of wound with full-thickness skin defect in rats.
Methods:
(1) Human amniotic epithelial stem cells were isolated from the amnion tissue of 5 full-term pregnant women in Department of Obstetrics of our hospital by the method of trypsin digestion, and their morphology was observed. The third passage of cells were stained with rhodamine-phalloidin for cytoskeleton observation. The third passage of cells were identified with flow cytometry through the detection of expressions of cell surface markers CD29, CD31, CD34, CD90, CD105, SSEA3, SSEA4 and immunity-related marker human leukocyte antigen-D related site (HLA-DR). The third passage of cells were also assessed the ability of adipogenic and osteogenic differentiation. (2) The third passage of human amniotic epithelial stem cells were cultured in DMEM medium supplemented with 10% exosome-free fetal bovine serum. Exosomes were isolated from culture supernatant by the method of ultracentrifugation and represented with scanning electron microscope for morphologic observation. (3) Six adult SD rats were anesthetized, and four 1 cm×1 cm sized wounds with full-thickness skin defect were made on the back of each rat. The wounds on the back of each rat were divided into control group, 25 μg/mL exosomes group, 50 μg/mL exosomes group, and 100 μg/mL exosomes group according to the random number table (with 6 wounds in each group), and a total volume of 100 μL phosphate buffered saline, 25 μg/mL exosomes, 50 μg/mL exosomes, and 100 μg/mL exosomes were evenly injected around the wound through multiple subcutaneous sites, respectively. The wound healing rate was calculated based on measurement on post injury day (PID) 7, 14, and 21. On PID 21, the healed wound tissue of each group was collected and stained with HE to observe and count skin accessories, and the arrangement of collagen fibers was observed with Masson staining. Data were processed with analysis of variance for repeated measurement, analysis of variance of randomized block design, one-way analysis of variance, and Bonferroni test.
Results:
(1) The cells, which were isolated and cultured, displayed typical cobblestone morphology with many microvilli on cell surface. Among the cells, the positive expression rates of CD29, CD90, SSEA3, and SSEA4 were above 50.0%, and the rate of CD105 was 8.0%, while the rates of CD31, CD34, and HLA-DR were almost 0. The cells could differentiate into adipocytes and osteoblasts. The above results revealed that the cells cultured were human amniotic epithelial stem cells. Objective To compare the safety and efficacy of flexible terminal suction ureteral access sheath(FTS-UAS)and negative pressure ureteral access sheath(NPUAS)in flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy with holmium laser in treatment of renal calculi less than 2 cm in diameter.Methods A total of 68 patients(largest diameter of stone<2 cm)with renal calculi treated in Yangjiang Hospital Affiliated to Guangdong Medical University during Nov.2022 and Aug.2023 were divided into FTS-UAS group(n=34)and NPUAS group(n=34)according to different surgical methods.The perioperative parameters and stone-free rate(SFR)were compared between the two groups.Results The average SFR on the first day after operation was significantly higher in the FTS-UAS group than in the NPUAS group[85.3%(29/34)vs.61.8%(21/34),P=0.028].The operation time was significantly lower in the FTS-UAS group than in the NPUAS group[(65.85±13.16)min vs.(75.59±20.21)min,P=0.022].For lower calyceal renal calculi,the SFR was significantly higher in the FTS-UAS group than in the NPUAS group[82.4%(14/17)vs.43.8%(7/16),P=0.032].One month after operation,the SFR was higher in the FTS-UAS group than in the NPUAS group[94.1%(32/34)vs.85.3%(29/34),P=0.452].There were no significant differences in hemoglobin reduction,serum creatinine level,postoperative complications,hospital stay and hospitalization costs between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion FTS-UAS in flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy can shorten the operation time and improve stone-clearance rate,which is safe,effective,and worthy of clinical promotion.
5.Association between social health status and depressive symptoms among community-dwelling elderly adults in Zhejiang Province, China.

OBJECTIVE:
Mental disorders of the elderly population in China deserve attention. Social health is significantly associated with depression. This study aimed to evaluate the rate of depressive symptoms and to test the relationships between social health and depressive symptoms among a large sample of community-dwelling elderly adults.
METHODS:
We conducted a cross-sectional study among community-dwelling adults aged 60 years or above in Zhejiang Province, China. Face-to-face interviews were used to complete a structured questionnaire for all participants. We used the Social Health Scale for the Elderly (SHSE) to evaluate social health status and used the short form of the Geriatric Depression Scale to evaluate depressive symptoms. Multivariate logistic regression was used to evaluate the association between social health status and depressive symptoms.
RESULTS:
Of the total of 3757 participants included, 1887 (50.23%) were female, and the mean±standard deviation (SD) age was (70.0±8.3) years. The rate of depressive symptoms was 25.92%. The social health score was higher in non-depressed participants than in depressed participants (raw score 50.7 vs. 48.3, P<0.001). Participants with "moderate" or "good" social health had a significantly lower risk of depressive symptoms than those with "poor" social health (odds ratio (OR)=0.55, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.46-0.66 for moderate social health; OR=0.45, 95% CI: 0.35-0.60 for good social health). The association between social health and depressive symptoms was consistent across several subgroups.
CONCLUSIONS
Social health is significantly inversely associated with depressive symptoms. The SHSE may serve as an efficient screener to identify those elderly adults with social health deficits, but systematic assessment to guide intervention merits further investigation.
