Objective To evaluate the radiation protection of occupational hazards in a hospital Clinac 23EX medical electronic accelerator construction project so as to ensure the health and safety of the relevant people involved. Methods According to the relevant laws, regulations and standards of China, combined with the relevant materials provided by the construction unit, the radiation protection tests and comprehensive assessment of this project were carried out. Results The performance test results of the medical electron accelerator met the requinements of GB/T 19046-2013 The ambient dose equivalent rate in the workplace was between the background dose rate (0.10 μ,Sv/h) and 11.5 μSv/h,which suggested the computer room shielding met the requirements of radiation protection. The total body effective dose, the for 7 radiation workers were 0.85,1.19,1.64 mSv,respectively, which were lower than the dose management control values of the construction unit and the national standards.Radiation protection supplies and the management system of the construction unit met the national requirements. Conclusions The construction project can effectively control the radioactive occupational hazard factors in normal operation, and the radiation protection facilities have reached the completion requirements.

Objective To investigate the relationships between different dietary patterns and serum uric acid in Tianjin residents. Method By cross-sectional study design, 11282 subjects were studied via lifestyle questionnaires (including a valid food frequency questionnaire), physical examination and laboratory tests. Using factor analysis method to establish the dietary patterns, and relationships between different dietary patterns and serum uric acid were analyzed. Results Factor analysis showed 3 kinds of dietary patterns, including eastern dietary pattern, vegetable diets and Tianjin dietary pattern. There were more males in hyperuricemic population, who have a higher BMI, waist circumference, blood lipids, blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and also higher proportion of metabolic syndrome, smokers and alcohol drinkers. In addition, hyperuricemia patients had a higher level of social status and income. After adjustments for age, sex, BMI, smoking habits, alcohol consumption, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, education level, occupational status, energy intake, physical activity and metabolic syndrome, logistic regression analysis showed the odds ratio (95%confidence interval) for hyperuricemia across the quartiles of 3 dietary patterns as follows: 1.00, 1.07 (0.91, 1.25), 0.96 (0.82, 1.14), 1.12 (0.94, 1.33);1.00, 1.03 (0.88, 1.21), 1.04 (0.88, 1.23), 1.00 (0.84, 1.19); 1.00, 1.28 (1.08, 1.52), 1.40 (1.22, 1.71), 1.37 (1.15, 1.63), respectively. Significantly positive correlation was shown between Tianjin dietary pattern and hyperuricemia. Conclusion Tianjin residents' Tianjin dietary pattern is closely related to serum uric acid levels. Tianjin dietary patterns have characteristics of high calorie, high fat, high protein. Healthy eating habits have significant importance to prevent occurrence of hyperuricemia.

Objective To observe the changes and clinical significance of procalcitonin(PCT) level in children with bacterial pneumonia. Methods The levels of PCT,hs-CRP and WBC were detected in 31 pneumonia children pre and post antibiotic treatment, and the changes were observed. Results The PCT levels of the 31 patients were all increased before treatment. After cured,PCT level of 28 cases returned to normal. But in the 28 normal cases,WBC level increased in 10 cases(35.7%),and hs-CRP level elevated in 4 cases(14.3%).In the other 3 cases, the PCT levels decreased from 5.69ng/mL,1.25ng/mL and 0.83ng/mL at admission to 0.51ng/mL,0.55ng/mL and 0.52ng/mL,respectively.And in these 3 cases, there was one case with the levels of WBC and hs-CRP respectively ascended,in which WBC level descended from 13.1 × 109/L to 12.1 × 109/L and hs-CRP level reduced from 20.92mg/L to 7.38mg/L.Conclusion The sensitivity of the index PCT is the highest at the accurate time phase of bacterial pneumonia, which can guide the reasonable use of antibiotics.

Objective To investigate the effect of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) on immune function and postoperative recovery in gastric cancer patients undergoing total laparoscopic radical gastrectomy. Methods Patients were randomly divided into ERAS group and control group.Blood CD4 +,CD8+,CD4 + CD25 +,C-reactive protein, postoperative recovery and complications were compared between the two groups. Results On day1,CD4 +,CD8 +,CD4 + CD25 + in the two groups were significantly lower than those before surgery (t =9.070,7.297,5.830,12.870,3.529,10.547,all P<0.05).The ERAS group had higher CD8 +,CD4 + CD25 + levels than the control group (t =2.163,2.203,P < 0.05).On day3,CD4 + CD25 + in ERAS group was not different from that before surgery (t =1.062,P > 0.05) while the other indexes in the two groups raised but still were lower than preoperative level (t =3.322,5.015,3.418,9.912,all P <0.05);CD4 +,CDs +,CD4 + CD25 + in ERAS group were higher than control group (t =2.804,2.040,2.210,all P<0.05).On day5,CD4+,CD4 + CD25+ in the two groups and CDs+ in ERAS group returned to the preoperative level, while CDs + of the control group was still lower than the preoperative level (t =6.862,P <0.05).On day1,3 and 5,the C-reactive protein levels of the two groups were higher than those before surgery(t=-13.338,-13.715,-11.319,-12.286,-13.182,-15.076,all P < 0.05),and ERAS group were lower than the control group (t =-3.246,-2.100,-2.211,all P<0.05).There was no mortality in neither groups. The time of passage gas by anus, defecation, getting out of bed, oral feeding, and postoperative hospital stay in the ERAS group were less than thoseinthecontrolgroup[(2.8±1.0)dvs.(3.9±0.9)d,t=-5.974;(3.8± 0.9)d vs.(4.3±1.0)d,t=-2.700;(19.1 ±4.0)hvs.(35.9±6.6)h,t=-16.045;(9.9 ±1.6)d vs.(11.5±2.0) d,t =-4.479,all P < 0.05].Conclusions ERAS in the perioperative period of patients with total laparoscopic radical gastrectomy mitigates the stress on the cellular immune system, reduces inflammatory response, and help fast recover the postoperative gastrointestinal function.

Objective:To access the independent associations between serum ferritin quintile levels and metabolic syndrome (MS) in adults of different genders.Methods:19 563 participants over the age of 18 years were recruited from "TCLSIH Cohort Study" from 2007 to 2015. Serum ferritin concentration was measured by Enzyme-linked immunoassay, while metabolic syndrome was diagnosed according to MS diagnostic criteria formulated by Chinese Diabetes Society in 2013. Multiple logistic regression analysis was used to assess the association between serum ferritin quintile levels and the prevalence of MS in males and females. Results:After adjusting the confounding factors, the overall prevalence of MS gradually increased with the increasing of serum ferritin levels, similar results were observed in males and females. Subjects were divided into 5 subgroups according to serum ferritin levels. Compared with level 1 group, logistic regression showed that the serum ferritin quintiles of males and females ranged from low to high, the OR (95% confidence interval) for metabolic syndrome were 1.142 (0.998, 1.307), 1.382 (1.210, 1.579), 1.680 (1.472, 1.917), 2.085 (1.827, 2.380), respectively ( Ptrend<0.01), and 1.147 (0.911, 1.444), 1.346 (1.075, 1.687), 1.567 (1.268, 1.941), 2.444 (1.981, 3.023), respectively ( Ptrend<0.01). Conclusion:The elevated ferritin levels were positively related to the prevalence of metabolic syndrome in adults of different genders.
