To train students' scientific research thought and innovation ability,we explored on the designed experiment teaching to improve the studnts’ manipulative ability,their analysis and synthesis ability as well as the problem-solving ability,and increased their interest in learning so that students could better mastere the basic skills and basic theory of immunology.

To establish the PBL designed experiment teaching model and to evaluate its teaching effectiveness.we use the questionnaires and the experiment skill test and the experiment content related written examination and the theoretic examination to evaluate its teaching effectiveness. The PBL group is significantly higher in the comprehension and the synthesizing ability and so on than the control group (P<0.05). The PBL group has significantly higher mean scores in the experiment content related written examination than the control group (P< 0.01). The PBL group has significantly higher scores in the theoretic examination than the control group (P< 0.01). The PBL designed experiment teaching can better train students for the innovative thinking ability and the scientific research capabilities.

Objective To investigate characteristics and ultrasonic imaging of the nano-scale ultrasound-enhanced contrast in vivo. Methods Nano-scale microbubbles were prepared by machine vibration and low speed centrifugation. The surface morphology and average size distribution of microbuble were measured. The contrast-enhanced effect of the hahn-scale microbubbles in the normal rabbit liver was observed,and compared with micro-scale microbubbles. Results The nano-scale microbubbles had a good shape and uniform distribution by light microscope and transmission electron microscope, with average diameter of 623.4 nm and surface electric potential of 1.3 inV. The contrast imaging study in vivo showed the nano-scale microbubbles could significantly enhance ultrasonic imaging of rabbit livers, which had no obvious difference with micro-scale microbubbles. Conclusions The nano-scale ultrasound contrast agent is stable and effective for the enhancement of ultrasound imaging, which is based on development of miniaturizing targeting ultrasound contrast agent.

Objective To investigate the value of ultrasound guided autobiopsy technology in interventional diagnosis of pulmo-nary peripheral disease .Methods 117 cases of pulmonary peripheral disease proved by X-ray or CT ,confirmed by ultrasound ,but could not be identified the nature by the examination above ,were biopsied under the guidance of ultrasound .Results All the 117 ca-ses were biopsed successfully .115 cases of them had definite pathological results ,the pathological positivity rate was 98 .3% ,in which contained 20 cases of chronic inflammation ,14 cases of tuberculosis ,30 cases of squamous cell carcinoma ,45 cases of adeno-carcinoma ,6 cases small cell undifferentiated carcinoma .No complication ,such as pneumatothorax ,hemoptysis ,bleeding occurred during the operation .Conclusion The ultrasound guided autobiopsy technology in interventional diagnosis of pulmonary peripheral disease is a safe and effective technique ,the tissues obtained from ultrasound guided autobiopsy were adequate to pathological slide which can provide the basis of the clinical diagnosis .

目的探讨胸腰段椎体骨折脊髓损伤患者康复治疗效果。方法65例脊髓损伤患者，其中T11 3例，T11-12 5例，T12 12例，T12-L1 5例，L1 31例，L2 9例。入院时检查患者感觉损伤平面和运动损伤平面，记录在脊髓损伤积分评定表中，评定日常生活活动能力(ADL)，制订康复计划，进行心肺功能、肌力、二便功能、转移、配戴矫形器站立、行走及ADL指导性训练。结果中途有5例患者脱落。出院后患者ADL等级提高到良30例、中30例。根据ADL变化，显著有效50％，有效50％。步行能力达到社区功能性步行29例，家庭功能性步行31例。结论胸腰段脊髓损伤患者经过系统康复训练，配备支具、使用辅助具，对恢复患者步行能力及ADL水平的提高有满意的效果。

Objective To investigate the value of case-based learning(CBL) combined with lecture-based learning (LBL) in medical immunology teaching.Methods Totally 85 clinical medicine students of 2010 grade in medical school of Yangtze university were divided into two groups:control group(n=43) and experimental group(n=42).The students in control group were received LBL while those in experimental group were received CBL combined with LBL.Teaching effectiveness was evaluated by questionnaire survey and theoretical test.Results The questionnaire showed that the abilities of comprehension,expression,analysis,practice and cooperation were significantly better in experimental group than in the control group(P＜0.05),the results of test showed that the total scores and the scores of choice and clinical case analysis were markedly higher in experimental group than in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusions The teaching model of CBL combined with LBL is helpful to develop students' comprehensive quality and creative ability and it is worth further promoting in medical immunology teaching.But there are some problems need further improvement.

AIM: To examine the effects of recombinant human hepatocyte growth factor(rhHGF) and native calf HGF(cHGF) on SMMC-7721 human hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) cell line. METHODS: Human HCC cell line culture, photometric assay, and flow cytometric assay were used in this study . RESULTS: A similar type of dose-dependent cell growth inhibition effect on SMMC-7721 human HCC cells by rhHGF(5-20 ?g/L) as well as by cHGF(25-100 mg/L) had been found, with the maximal effect at the highest concentration used. Approximately over 50% of the cells treated with rhHGF(5 ?g/L, 10 ?g/L, 20 ?g/L) accumulated in the quiescent G 0/G 1 phase of the cell cycle over incubation periods for 3 d. CONCLUSION: The growth of SMMC-7721 human HCC cells was strongly inhibited by both rhHGF and cHGF. This might be because the cells exposed to HGF became arrested in the G 0/G 1 phase.

Objective To observe safety and efficacy of intrauterine device MYCu IUD that releases indomethacin. Methods In total, 2000 women requiring IUD for contraception were chosen from domestic multiple clinical centers according to an unified standard. MYCu IUD and TCu380A IUD were randomly inserted for 1000 women each, respectively. All women were regularly followed-up one, three, six and 12 months after insertion. Results All the women were followed-up for 11 985.9 and 11 753.6 person-months in MYCu IUD and TCu380A IUD groups, respectively, with cumulative IUD application rates of 97. 80% and 94. 70%, and cumulative pregnancy rates with IUD of 0. 10% and 0. 31%, respectively. Cumulative expulsion (or partial expulsion) rate in MYCu IUD group was 0. 10%, significantly lower than that in TCu380A IUD one (1.73%), P ＜0. 01, and cumulative removal rate due to medical reasons (bleeding or pain) was 1.51 % and 2. 94%, respectively, P ＜ 0. 05. Rate of IUD-associated termination and overall rate of termination differed significantly between the two groups, P ＜0. 01. Adverse reactions one, three, six and twelve months after IUD insertion included irregular bleeding, prolonged menstruation, increased menstrual blood volume and pain, less in indomethacin-containing MYCu IUD group than those in TCu380A IUD without containing it, P ＜ 0. 01. Conclusions MYCu IUD is a comparatively ideal IUD that should be promoted for extensive use, with extremely low expulsion rate, good contraceptive effect, convenience and safety in insertion and removal, and less adverse effects.

Background:Child-Pugh score(CPS)and albumin-bilirubin(ALBI)score have important predictive value for the assessment of survival of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). Aims:To investigate the predictive values of CPS and ALBI score for radiation-induced liver disease(RILD)and long-term prognosis in patients with HCC receiving stereotactic ablative radiotherapy(SABR). Methods:A total of 152 HCC patients receiving SABR from June 2006 to June 2012 at Baoji Central Hospital were enrolled. CPS and ALBI score were determined,and the predictive values of CPS and ALBI score for RILD and prognosis were compared. Results:In 152 patients with HCC,CPS-A was noted in 119 patients, CPS-B in 33 patients;ALBI-1 was noted in 60 patients,ALBI-2 in 86 patients,ALBI-3 in 6 patients. The 5-year overall survival rate was significantly higher in CPS-A patients than in CPS-B patients(46.2% vs. 15.2%,P <0.001). Significant difference in 5-year overall survival rate was found among patients with ALBI-1,ALBI-2 and ALBI-3(P =0.002). CPS grade(HR=1.38,95% CI:1.18-1.94,P=0.008)and ALBI grade(HR=1.68,95% CI:1.32-2.03, P=0.003)were independent risk factors for 5-year survival of patients with HCC. RILD was found in 20 cases(13.8%) within 4 months after SABR. AUC of ALBI for prediction of RILD was significantly higher than that of CPS(0.784 vs. 0.611,P=0.028). Patients with CPS-A and ALBI< -2.76 were less likely to develop RILD after SABR(2.4%). Conclusions:ALBI can effectively predict the occurrence of RILD and long-term survival of HCC patients after SABR.

The present study was conducted to develop new inhibitors of pancreatic lipase and alpha-glucosidase from Chinese dietary herbs. Sixty-three dietary herbs from 39 taxonomic families were selected and extracted with aqueous ethanol or water. The extracts were then tested with in vitro enzyme assays for their ability to inhibit pancreatic lipase and alpha-glucosidase activities. Orlistat and acarbose were used as two positive controls. The extracts of Nelumbo nucifera, Curcuma longa, Piper longum and Morus alba showed strong pancreatic lipase inhibitory effects with IC50 at (28.00 +/- 5.51), (5.24 +/- 0.51), (14.76 +/- 2.58), (4.78 +/- 0.58), (3.41 +/- 0.67) mg x L(-1), respectively. These extracts also showed potent alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activities with IC50 at (1.98 +/- 0.13), (0. 18 + 0.007), (0.71 +/- 0.08), (0.077 +/- 0.005), (0.089 +/- 0.006) g x L(-1), respectively. The results provide useful information for developing new drugs or natural health products for hyperlipidemia and hypoglycemia from Chinese dietary herbs.
