As a commonly used non-contact flatness detection method, laser triangular detection method is designed with low cost, but it cannot avoid measurement errors caused by strip steel vibration effectively. This paper puts forward a dynamic flatness image processing method based on improved laser triangular detection method. According to the practical application of strip steel straightening, it completes the image pre-processing, image feature curve extraction and calculation of flatness elongation using digital image processing technology. Finally it eliminates elongation measurement errors caused by the vibration.

Objective To study the effect of Sarcandra Glabra on the expression of signal transduction molecules of TGF-β1/Smads signaling pathway in miniature pig of radiation-induced lung injury.Methods 75 miniature pigs were divided into control group,radiation group and radiation plus medication group randomly.At 1 week before exposure of right lung with 15 Gy γ-rays,the miniature pigs in radiation plus medication group were given Sarcandra glabra,while those in the other groups received an equal amount of saline.Right lung were taken at weeks 2,4,8,12 and 24 after irradiation,the pathological changes in the lung tissue were observed by HE staining,and the expression of mRNA and protein of TGF-β1,Smad2,Smad3,and Smad7 were detected by real-time PCR and western blotting,respectively.Results Sarcandra glabra reduced the inflammation and fibrosis of the lung tissue in miniature pig after irradiation.Compared with control group,the expressions of TGF-β1 and Smad3 were significantly increased at 2 weeks after irradiation(P ＜ 0.05),Smad2 and Smad7 were increased at 8 and 12 weeks after irradiation(P ＜ 0.05),respectively,in the radiation group.Compared with the radiation group,the expressions of TGF-β1 and Smad2 were significantly decreased(P ＜ 0.05) from the fourth and eighth week,respectively,Smad3 had no obvious change while Smad7 was significantly increased from the second week in the radiation plus medication group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Sarcandra Glabra plays protective effect on radiation-induced lung injury in miniature pig by regulating TGF-β1,Smad2 and Smad7 expressions in the TGF-β1/Smads signaling pathway.

With the research on tumor immunity and tumor immunosuppression development,immunotherapies for lung cancer has become a research hotspot.Tumor immune microenvironment plays an important role in tumor genesis,development and metastasis of lung cancer.Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) are the dominant leukocyte population found in immune microenvironment of lung cancer.The relationship between TAMs and lung cancer becomes clear with further research.TAMs may become the new target of lung cancer immunotherapy.

Objective To observe the surgical results of modified percutaneous endoscopic interlaminar decompression(PEID) and traditional PEID in the treatment of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis (DLSS),and to explore the optimizations scheme of PEID for DLSS.Methods 60 patients (36 males and 24 females) were brought into the research for DLSS.According to the different operation ways,the patients were randomly divided into the modified PEID group(observation group) and traditional PEID group (control group) according to the digital table method,30 cases in each group.The surgical outcome,indicators included the change in spinal canal,visual analogue scale (VAS) score and Oswestry disability index (ODI) at pre-operation,postoperative 3 d,postoperative 3 months and postoperative 6 months,operation time,headache and painful stiff nape incidence in the operation,postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Results The VAS scores (postoperative 3 days,postoperative 3 months and postoperative 6 months) of the observation group were (4.37 ± 1.20) points,(2.59 ± 1.30) points,(1.29 ± 1.21)points respectively,which of the control group were (4.45 ± 1.22)points,(2.67 ± 1.36)points,(1.17 ± 1.10)points respectively,which were significantly better than (7.93 ± 1.56)points of the observation group and (8.22 ± 1.70) points of the control group before operation,the differences were statistically significant (F =1 254.387,512.762,all P ＜ 0.05).The ODI scores (postoperative 3 days,postoperative 3 months and postoperative 6 months) of the observation group were (48.64 ± 19.59) points,(27.66 ± 10.22) points,(10.69 ± 8.87) points respectively,which of the control group were (47.22 ± 20.96) points,(25.17 ± 11.93) points,(10.16 ± 7.89) points respectively,which were significantly better than (75.20 ± 23.20) points of the observation group and (70.35 ± 28.66) points of the control group before operation,the differences were statistically significant(F =1 254.387,512.762,all P ＜ 0.05).The VAS and ODI scores (pre-operation,postoperative 3 days,postoperative 3 months andpostoperative 6 months) of the observation group and control group had no statistically significant differences (VAS:t =2.088,2.124,3.021,3.173;ODI:t =2.366,1.079,1.694,1.573,all P ＞ 0.05).The incidence of neck pain and operation time of the observation group were 20.69％,(63 ± 7) min,which were significantly lower than 87.50％ and (157 ± 8)rin of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(t =3.601,2.167,all P ＜ 0.05).The central sagittal diameter of the spinal canal and the central transverse diameter of the spinal canal between the observation group and the control group had no statistically significant differences (x2 =4.260,t =3.694,all P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Modified PEID has advantages in surgical efficiency,operation time and headache and painful stiff nape incidence compared with traditional PEID,so it can be chosen for DLSS.

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of retinal binding protein (RBP) and Cystatin C in blood and urine in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).Methods One hundred and twenty-one patients with CKD in Nephrology Laboratory of The People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from Aug.2012 to Jan.2013 were served as the case group.Sixty healthy check-up people were considered as control group.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect RBP and Cystatin C in urine,and the immune turbidimetry testing was applied to detect RBP and Cystatin C in blood.The receiveroperating characteristic (ROC) curve and area under curve (AUC) were applied to evaluate the sensibility and diagnostic value of indexes in CKD.Results The positive rate of RBP,Cystatin C in urine and blood were 89.6％,92.6％,52.5％,59.5％ respectively of 12 patients in case group,higher than those in control group (all value were 0,P ＜0.001).ROC curve showed that the sensitivity of urine RBP and Cystatin C were higher than that in blood of case group.AUC of RBP,Cystatin C level in urine and blood were 0.915,0.974,.655,and 0.623 respectively.And 95％ confidence interval were 0.877-0.954,0.956-0.992,0.575-0.736,0.543-0.702 respectively,and the differences are statistically significant (P ＜ 0.001).Conclusion The sensitivity of urine cystatin C and RBP are significantly higher than that in blood,which might be served as a diagnostic marker of CKD and can provide important basis for clinical diagnosis.

Objective To study the intra-and extra-hepatic collateral pathways in various types of Budd-Chiari syndrome (BCS) using liver acceleration volume acquisition (LAVA) enhanced MRI.Methods The clinical data and imaging findings of 240 patients with BCS were collected and analyzed.The types of BCS confirmed by DSA.Intra-and extra-hepatic collateral pathways were studied using LAVA enhanced MRI with a 3.0T scanner.Correlations of the intra-/extra-hepatic collateral pathways with the types of BCS were analyzed using the Chi-square test.Then,the degrees of correlation were calculated by the Cramet correction coefficient of contingency.Results Among the 240 patients,DSA confirmed 60 patients to have hepatic vein occlusion,39 patients to have inferior vena cava occlusion and 141 patients to have both hepatic vein and inferior vena cava occlusion.MRI demonstrated dilated accessory hepatic veins in 157 patients,intra-hepatic communicating branches in 69 patients,inferior phrenic veins in 43 patients,superficial epigastric veins in 135 patients,umbilical veins in 94 patients and hemiazygos/azygos veins in 195 patients.Accessory hepatic veins and hemiazygos/azygos veins as collateral pathways were associated with the types of BCS (x2 =30.239,P ＜ 0.05;x2 =51.295,P ＜ 0.05,respectively).The degrees of correction were 0.355 and 0.462,respectively.Accessory hepatic veins as collateral pathways were most common in the mix type,accounting for 79.4％.Hemiazygos/azygos veins were most common in the inferior vena cava occlusion type and the mix type,accounting for 92.3％ and 91.5 ％,respectively.Conclusions Accessory hepatic veins and hemiazygos/azygos veins as collateral pathways were associated with the types of BCS,while the intra-hepatic communicating branches,inferior phrenic veins,superficial epigastric veins and umbilical veins were not correlated with the types of BCS.LAVA may help to diagnose and determine the best choice of treatment for the various types of BCS.

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and treatment strategy of ankle supination fracture in children.Methods From January 2012 through July 2014,89 children were treated at our department for ankle fracture caused by supination sprain according to their medical history,physical examination,X-ray films and CT three-dimensional reconstruction of the ankle.Appropriate protocols were applied on the basis of Lauge-Hansen classification,type and displacement of their fractures.Of them,52 belonged to the supination-adduction type (the extramalleolus fracture was of Odgen type Ⅶ in 51 children whose epiphyseal plate of distal fibula had not been closed),35 to the supination-extorsion type (32 cases had tri-plane fracture and 3 Tillaux fracture),and the remaining 2 did not fit the Lauge-Hansen classification.Surgical treatment was applied in 32 cases and conservative treatment in 57 ones.Results All the children received outpatient follow-up from 12 to 24 months(mean,18 months).No bone nonunion,osteoarthritis,or fracture malunion was found.The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society scores averaged 92 points (range,from 88 to 100 points) at the last follow-ups.Conclusions In children whose epiphyseal plate is nearly closed,supination-adduction sprain likely causes an extramalleolus fracture of Salter-Harris type Ⅰ or type Ⅱ,but in children whose epiphyseal plate is unclosed,an epiphyseal fracture of Odgen type Ⅶ is inclined to happen.A Tillaux fracture or tri-plane fracture at the level of distal tibiofibular syndesmosis results often from supination-extorsion sprain in children.For fractures involving epiphysis or epiphyseal plate,anatomical reduction and proper fixation are critical to functional recovery and reducing complications.

Objective To explore the feasibility of establishing mini-pig model of type 1 diabetes by single intrave-nous injection of high dose streptozotocin .Methods Eight male Zhonghua mini-pigs (22.6 ±1.8 kg) were administrated with high-dose streptozotocin (150 mg/kg) into the ear vein .Before and 10, 30, 90 minutes, 1, 3 and 7 days after adminis-tration of streptozotocin , blood samples were obtained respectively , and used to dynamically monitor the fasting blood-glucose. C peptide and insulin levels were evaluated by IVGTT test .Results Since 24 hours after STZ administration , the fasting blood-glucose level was increased significantly compared with that of pre-administration and maintained at 16.7-20.6 mmol/L, while the C peptide and insulin levels were decreased significantly .IVGTT results showed that blood sugar levels at 1 h af-ter intravenous injection of 50%glucose were much higher than 11.1 mmol/L and failed to restore to fasting glucose levels until 2 h, insulin and c-peptide did no response after injection of glucose , always kept at a trace level .Conclusion A sin-gle high-dose streptozotocin injection can be used to establish a mini-pig model of type 1 diabetes successfully .

Objective To explore the influence and mechanism of cytokines and protein expression of alveolar epithelial type (ACE) Ⅱ cells in Bama minipigs' right-thorax with a single 15 Gy dose irradiation.Methods All minipigs received either right thoracic irradiation or sham-irradiation under anesthesia.At 4,8,12 and 24 week post-irradiation,5 minipigs respective and random from irradiarion groups and control group were sacrificed to remove the lungs.The protein expression of surfactant associated protein (SP)-A,transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1,Vimentin and E-cadherin were detected by Western blot.The protein expression of α-smooth muscle actin (SMA) was detected by immunohistochemistry.The co-localization of SP-A and α-SMA was visualized by double immunofluorescence staining.Results At 4,8,12 and 24 week post-irradiation,a significant increase in the protein expression of α-SMA,TGF-β1 and Vimentin were observed in irradiated lung compared to sham-irradiated controls(α-SMA:t =2.46-3.26,P ＜0.05;TGF-β1:t =2.96-3.52,P ＜0.05;Vimentin:t =3.24-5.05,P ＜ 0.05).By contrast,the protein expression of SP-A and E-cadherin in irradiation group was lower than it in control group (SP-A:t =3.62-4.65,P ＜ 0.05;E-cadherin:t =2.53-4.15,P ＜ 0.05).Moreover,at 8 week after irradiation,under confocal laser scanning microscope,the co-localization of SP-A and α-SMA was observed in irradiated alveolar epithelium cells,and it was not observed in sham-irradiated controls.Conclusions These data demonstrate that E-cadherin,SP-A and TGF-β1 may act as sensitive predictors of radiation-induced lung injury(RILI).Irradiation may lead to ACE Ⅱ cells achieving a mesenchymal phenotype,namely,epithelial to mesenchymal cells transition occurs,and ACE Ⅱ cells play the important part in the development of RILI by epithelial-mesenchymal transition.
