Journal of Practical Radiology 2017;33(1):31-34
Objective To investigate the formation mechanism of string beads sign in peripheral small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and evaluate the significance of it in differential diagnosis among SCLC,peripheral lung adenocarcinoma and peripheral lung squa-mous cell carcinoma. Methods 78 cases of SCLC,69 cases of peripheral lung adenocarcinoma and 33 cases of peripheral lung squa-mous cell carcinoma, confirmed pathologically were included in this study. The positive rates of string beads sign, mediastinal lymph node metastasis and mediastinal lymph nodes larger than primary lung lesions were calculated and analyzed in these three groups. Results 10 out of SCLC cases (12.8%)have string beads sign,in which all mediastinal lymph nodes were larger than lung lesions.Mediasti-nal lymph node metastases were observed in 63(80.8%)of 78 cases, and 42 (53.8%)cases had larger mediastinal lymph nodes than lung lesions. No string beads sign was observed in patients with peripheral solid lung adenocarcinomas, but 25 of 69 cases (36.2%) have mediastinal lymph node metastasis and 2 cases (2.9%)had larger mediastinal lymph nodes than lung lesions.13 cases(39.4%) of 33 patients with peripheral lung squamous cell carcinomas had mediastinal lymph node metastasis, and 6 cases (16.7%)had larger mediastinal lymph nodes than lung lesions. The statistical results showed the positive rate of string beads sign was not significantly different between peripheral SCLC group and peripheral lung squamous cell carcinoma group, but that of mediastinal lymph node and larger mediastinal lymph nodes than lung lesions were statistically different among these three groups. Conclusion To some extent, string beads sign on CT could reflect the biologic character of SCLC.It played an important role in differential diagnosis of peripheral SCLC,peripheral lung adenocarcinoma and periph-eral lung squamous cell carcinoma, but it should be combined with mediastinal lymph node size.

Objective To investigate the relationship between angiotensin Ⅱ ( AngⅡ) and transformation of vascular fibroblasts phenotype .Methods Eighteen rats were randomly assigned into the untreated group , mini-pump infusion of saline group and mini-pump infusion of AngⅡgroup which was used as the hypertension model .Their systolic pressure and vascular morphology were examined .The expression of catalase ( CAT ) and 4HNE was examined by immunohistochemistry .Western blotting was used to examine the expression of CAT of adventitial fibroblasts which were cultured by different incubation times and concentrations of Ang Ⅱ.Results Compared with untreated and mini-pump infusion of saline groups , the systolic pressure and carotid media thickness stained by HE of mini-pump infusion of AngⅡgroup were significantly higher (P<0.01).The results of immunohistochemistry showed that the expression of CAT ofAngⅡgroup was significantly lower than that of untreated group , however the expression of 4HNE of AngⅡgroupwas higher than that of untreated group (P<0.05).Furthermore, the results of Western blotting indicated that the effect of Ang Ⅱ on down-regulation of CAT function was in a dose and incubation time dependent manner .Conclusion AngⅡdown-regulates adventitial CAT expression and promotes fibroblasts phenotypic transformation which leads to pathological arterial vascular remodeling .

OBJECTIVETo explore therapeutic effects of modified anterolateral approach and traditional approach in treating distal tibiofibula fractures.
METHODSFrom September 2009 to December 2012,45 patients with distal tibiofibula fractures were performed reduction and interal fixation with modified anterolateral and traditional approaches. According to Ruedi-All-gower classification, 12 cases were type I ,26 cases were type II, 7 cases were type III. Among 45 patients, there were 16 males and 7 females with an average age of (36.3 +/- 7.2) years old (ranged from 23 to 47) years old in advanced group; while there were 14 males and 8 females with an average of (33.8 +/- 6.4) years old (ranged from 25 to 45) in tradtional group. Operation time, blood loss, complications of incision were compared, and AOFAS scores were evaluated.
RESULTSAll patients were followed up from 6 to 36 months with an average of 21.7 months. In traditional group, operation time was (74.7 +/- 9.9) min, blood loss was (94.4 +/- 10.4) ml, and (73.7 +/- 10.0) min, (100.8 +/- 12.1) ml in advanced group, there was no significant meaning between two groups (P > 0.05); complications of insicion of advanced group was better than that of traditional group (chi2 = 4.078, P < 0.05); AOFAS score in advanced group (86.1 +/- 9.4) was better than that of traditional group, and had significant meaning (t = 3.787, P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONModified anterolateral group, which has advantages of rapid recovery, less complications, is a good choice for closed distal tibiofibula fractures.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2015;14(11):1150-1153
Objective In order to understand the content and effect of health education in military professional education, and provide the basis for the improvement of teaching. Methods Through the methods of quantitative and qualitative research, totally 113 students in the class of health education and health promotion were selected to conduct questionnaire survey between 2010 and 2014.Results Most students think it should be appropriate to increase the hours of work organization of basic level troops and epidemic prevention, which account for 68.14% (n=77), increase the hours of health education practice, which account for 63.72% (n=72).40.71% (n=46) of the students think should be appropriate to reduce the communication in language art and skill teaching hours. Some students think that other contents are helpful to their work units except that environment and health are not helping to their own work units. For individuals, the contents are all useful for themselves, especially the health education practice, PPT production skills and material picture processing.Students are satisfied with the contents of health education. Conclusion In the future, we should increase the learning hours for health education, optimize the teaching content and strengthen the network construction to enhance the professional education teaching quality.

Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2007;27(1):91-4
Three human leucine-rich repeats and immunoglobulin-like domains (LRIG) genes and proteins, named LRIG1-3, has been previously characterized and it was proposed that they may act as suppressors of tumor growth. The LRIG1 protein can inhibit the growth of tumors of glial cells and the down-regulation of the LRIG1 gene may be involved in the development and progression of the tumor. Real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) is a recently developed technique for quantitative assessment of specific RNA levels. In the current study, it was demonstrated that LRIG1-3 and EGFR mRNA was detected in human pituitary adenoma cell lines and a normal pituitary sample, with differences in the expression levels. Compared to the normal pituitary samples, the expression of LRIG1-3 in HP75 cell line was lower, but the expression of EGFR in HP75 cell line was higher. The results are consistent with LRIG1-3 being tumour suppressor genes, and LRIG genes decreasing the expression of EGFR. The ratio of EGFR/LRIG1 was increased at least 13-fold in HP75 cells compared with the normal pituitary cells, which was also the case for the ratio of EGFR/LRIG2 (14-fold increase in HP75) and EGFR/LRIG3 (11-fold increase in HP75). Further studies were needed to elucidate the explicit role of LRIG genes as negative regulators of oncogenesis in human pituitary adenoma.
