Objective:To observe the impacts of herb-partitioned moxibustion, warm moxibustion and electroacupuncture on the basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)and collagen type Ⅰ(Col Ⅰ)in colons of rats with Crohn' disease(CD),and discuss the mechanism of acupuncture therapy on the intestinal fibrosis in CD.Methods:The model rats were developed by TNBS as multiple proinflammatory method. The rats were randomly divided into 5 groups:a normal group,a model group,a warm moxibustion group,an electroacupuncture group and a herb-partitioned moxibustion group. The treatments were carried out at Tianshu(ST 25)(bilateral)and Qihai(CV 6)in different treatments. The immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression position of Col Ⅰ and bFGF.Results:The expressions of Col Ⅰ and bFGF in colons of rots in the model group significantly increased(compared with the normal group,P<0.01).After the herb-partitioned moxibustion, warm moxibustion and electroacupuncture, the expressions of Col Ⅰ and bFGF reduced markedly in the rats with CD(P<0.01).The expression of bFGF and Col Ⅰ in the colons had an obvious correlation in the Spearman rank correlation analysis. Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment reduced the abnormally high levels of expressions for Col Ⅰ and bFGF in colons.Col Ⅰ and bFGF participated in the fibrosis.Acupuncture treatment may reduce the bFGF expression in colons to regulate the excessive deposition, treating the intestinal fibrosis in CD.

ObjectiveTo determine the potential natural foci of new bunyavirus, and isolate and identify the new bunyavirus strain in sera from suspected new bunyavirus-infected patients.MethodsImmunofluorescence assay was used to detect the antigens of new bunyavirus in different tissue specimens of wild rodent animals in Tiantai area of Zhejiang province.Fluorescence quantitative real-time RT-PCR was applied to detect the viral nucleic acid in sera of suspected new bunyavirus-infected patients and the amplification products were analyzed by sequencing. The new bunyavirus in the pateints'sera was isolated using Vero cells.Using nucleocapsid protein encoding gene of new bunyavirus as the target gene, the isolated suspected new bunyavirus strain was identified by RT-PCR and sequencing of the amplification product. Moreover, sequence identity of the amplification product of nucleocapsid protein encoding gene of new bunyavirus was analyzed and compared.ResultsOf the 70 wild rodent animals,5.71% were positive in the immunofluorescence assay. The fluorescence quantitative real-time RT-PCR confirmed that two of the four detected patients'serum specimens were positive. One suspected strain of new bunyavirus was isolated from one pf the two positive patients'serum specimens. The results of RT-PCR and sequencing confirmed that the viral strain exactly belongs to new bunyavirus with 92.2% sequence identity to that of the new bunyavirus isolates in Hubei province but distinct with the new bunyavirus isolates from other areas in China.ConclusionThe presence of natural foci of new bunyavirus and new bunyavirus-infected patients in Zhejiang province are firstly confirmed by this study. There is a geographical diversity of the distribution of new bunyavirus in different groups.

A model of fluid dynamics related to the myocardial bridginged and mural coronary artery was designed and manufactured according to the physical principle and characteristic of the mural coronary artery. The model can imitate systematically well the effect of myocardial bridging on hemodynamic change of the mural coronary artery under different controlled experimental parameter. The methodology is proved to be feasible and has good prosperity of experimental study.

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and immunological mechanism of herbal cake-partitioned moxibustion for aging process.Method:The herbal cake-partitioned moxibustion was adopted for 223 cases to observe the aging scores before and after the treatment.Apart from that, the T-lymphocyte subsets and changes of IL-2 and 3-EP were also detected. Results:After treatment, the aging scores of 223 cases were all substantially reduced, along with an improvement of clinical symptoms,a strengthened cellular immune function, and an increase of total T-lymphocyte count. In addition, the CD4+/CD8+ ratio Was restored normal, the synthesis or secretion of IL-2 was increased and the β-EP(as the neurotransmitter to modulate immune function)was substantially improved. Conclusion:The aging process is closely associated with the immune function.Moxibustion Can modulate abnormal immune function and stabilize homeostasis and thus delay the aging process.

A 3-week practice-oriented training course on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) management was conducted in December 2020, 34 primary care physicians from township or community health service centers attended the course. The impact of the training course on the knowledge levels of COPD management was evaluated with a questionnaire survey, the questionnaire contained the knowledge of COPD and its management. The survey showed that before the training, the participants had low knowledge levels on the definition of COPD and its risk factors; 67.6% (23/34) were not aware of COPD-related guidelines and new developments, and 17.6%(6/34) had conducted COPD follow-up assessments, pulmonary rehabilitation, and health education; only 8.8% (3/34) had used the improved British Medical Research Council Dyspnea Index (mMRC) and the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease assessment test (CAT) for patient self-assessment; there was no pulmonary function instrument in their units, and only 3 doctors (8.8%) had previously participated in pulmonary function training and knew indications and contraindications of the pulmonary function test, and complete report interpretation; all participants were unable to use common inhalation devices and master inhalation techniques completely and correctly; 11.8% (4/34) had assessed patients′ handling inhalation devices and performing inhalation. After the training, the knowledge levels of COPD clinical features, lung function and inhalation technique were significantly improved, and the scores were significantly increased compared with those before the training ( P<0.001). The study shows that primary care physicians have insufficient knowledge and management skill of COPD. The practice-oriented training can significantly improve the knowledge and skills of primary care physician for COPD management in the community.
