Chinese Journal of Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Diseases 2015;33(4):279-281
OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical efficacy of Ginkgo biloba injection combined with traditional therapy in the treatment of explosive deafness.
METHODSFifty-six (98 ears) participants who were all coal miners were selected. These patients were diagnosed with explosive deafness. and admitted to the otolaryngology department of our hospital from May 2010 to October 2013. They were.equally divided into control group and treatment group according to the therapeutic method. The patients in the control group only received traditional therapy, such as hyperbaric oxygen, while the patients in the treatment group were given Ginkgo biloba injection in addition to the therapy for the control group. The improvement in hearing was recorded and compared between the two groups.
RESULTSThe rate of improvement in tinnitus symptom in the treatment group was 78.0% (32/41), significantly higher than that in the control group (55.6%, 25/45) (χ2=4.857, P<0.05); compared with the treatment group (93.5%, 43/46), the control group had a significant lower overall response rate at 76.9% (40/52) (χ2=5.160, P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONCompared with traditional therapy alone, combined ginkgo biloba extract injection and traditional therapy can significantly improve tinnitus symptom and overall response rate in the treatment of explosive deafness in coal miners, which suggests that the combination therapy is worthy of clinical application.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(9):797-799
OBJECTIVE:
To study the methods and efficacy of comprehensive treatment on retractory chronic rhinosinusitis(CRS).
METHOD:
Thirty-two cases of patients with refractory rhinosinusitis took part in individualized comprehensive treatment program, that is, a healthy diet and moderate exercise, psychological counseling, and reasonable operation and gauze changing, and rational use of drug therapy.
RESULT:
All patients were followed up for 6 months or more, 26 cases (81.3%) were completely controlled of the disease, 6 cases (18.7%) were partially controlled; the total effective rate was 100%.
CONCLUSION
In the current situation that CRS etiology and pathogenesis studies have not yet made a breakthrough, and we have not developed a new and effective drug, comprehensive treatment focusing on internal and external factors of refractory rhinosinusitis at the same time, that is, to take a rational healthy diet, moderate exercise, psychological counseling, and reasonable operation and gauze changing, and rational use of drug therapy ect. can obtain better effect.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 2015;(2):247-249
Objective:To explore the expression level of IL-17,IL-23 in patients with allergic rhinitis (AR) and their clinical significance. Methods:A total of 25 patients with AR were treated as observe group , and 23 healthy volunteers were chosen as the control group. The levels of serum IL-17,IL-23 and specific-IgE ( s-IgE) were compared between the two groups. The relationships among serum IL-17,IL-23 and sIgE in patients with AR were discussed. Results:The levels of IL-17,IL-23 and sIgE in observe group were significantly higher than in control group. There was a positive linear correlation between the IL-17 and IL-23/the IL-23 and sIgE/the sIgE and IL-17 in observe group. Conclusion: The IL-17 , IL-23 might be the two important cytokine in the occurrence and development process of allergic rhinitis. The IL-17,IL-23 might be related to the formation of sIgE.

Journal of Clinical Urology 2009;24(7):533-534
Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of ureteroscopic holmium laser Iithotripsy for treatment of upper ureteral calculi. Methods:The clinic data of 52 cases of upper ureteral calculi treated by ureteroscope with holmium laser lithotripsy were retrospectively analyzed. There are 2 cases of bilateral upper ureteral calculi, and the total number of left upper ureteral calculi was 30, and the right side of 24. The size of the stones were (0.4~1.7) cruX (0.6~2.0) cm. Resuits:The overall successful operation rate for all upper ureteral calculi stones in single procedure was 98.1% (53/54), except 1 due to ureteral stenosis converted to open surgery. The average operation time was about 28 min(17~65 min). Fellowed up after one month, one-time stone-free rate was 90.6%(48/53), 5 eases of patients with residual calculi re-tained double-J tube and performed extracorporeal lithotripsy. Fellowed up after three months, ipsilateral hydronephrosis in all patients was significantly alleviated. Conclusions: Treatment of upper ureteral calculi by ureteroscopie holmium laser lithotripsy is safe and effective, which could be preferred used as endoscopic treatment of upper ureteral calculi.

Chinese Journal of Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Diseases 2014;32(10):767-768
OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical effects of using hyperbaric oxygen comprehensive therapy for the treatment of noise induced deafness.
METHODSFrom May 2009 to April 2012 in our hospital 220 cases of noise induced deafness patients were chosen and they were all construction workers; According to different treatments all patients were divided into the control group (110 cases) only having hyperbaric oxygen treatment and the treatment group (110 cases) using hyperbaric oxygen comprehensive therapy, including control group simply by. Hearing improvements of the two groups were recorded and compared.
RESULTSThe cure rate of the comprehensive therapy group was 53.6%which was higher than that of the control group 38.2% (χ(2) = 5.290, P < 5.290), while the total effective rate of the comprehensive therapy group was 79.1%which was also significantly higher than that of the control group 67.3% (χ(2) = 3.914, P < 0.05). After two courses of comprehensive treatment the cure rate and total effective rate were 47.3%and 73.6%respectively, while after four courses of comprehensive treatment group the cure rate and total effective rate turned to be 60.9% and 84.5% respectively, which had significant difference (χ(2) values were 4.118 and 3.958, P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSThe cure rate and total effective rate of the comprehensive therapy group are higher than the simple hyperbaric oxygen treatment group, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion in the future.

Objective:To explore the application value and surgical experience of neuroendoscopic resection for pediatric patients with cerebellar tumors. Methods:This was a case series study. The clinical data and outcomes of 30 pediatric patients with cerebellar tumors treated through neuroendoscopic surgery in the Department of Neurosurgery, the Guizhou Hospital of Shanghai Children′s Medical Center and Guizhou Provincial People′s Hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.Results:Twenty-six patients underwent total resection, 3 patients underwent subtotal resection, and 1 patient underwent biopsy.Postoperative pathological findings showed 9 cases of medulloblastoma, 3 cases of ependymoma, 17 cases of astrocytoma (5 cases of World Health Organization Grade Ⅰ, 3 cases of Grade Ⅱ, and 9 cases of Grade Ⅲ), and 1 case of cerebellar benign lesion.During the perioperative period, malignant arrhythmia occurred and induced death in 1 case, cerebellar mutism occurred in 12 cases, and ataxia occurred in 22 cases.During the 1-36 months of follow-up, 2 cases developed communicating hydrocephalus at the 2 nd and the 6 th month, respectively, and improved after ventriculoperitoneal shunt; cerebellar mutism was relieved to varying degrees after an average postoperative follow-up period of (115±23) days(46-194 days), and ataxia was alleviated after an average postoperative follow-up period of (127±42) days(27-173 days).Tumors relapsed in 5 cases during the last follow-up. Conclusions:Neuroendoscopy provides an alternative to the microscope for experienced operators to achieve the surgical exposure requirements during the resection of pediatric cerebellar vermis tumors.
