Objective To investigate the clinical value of MMP-9 and PIIINP in diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction.Methods To retrospective analyze MMP-9 and PIIINP In 76 cases patients with acute myocardial infarction ,when prophase and anaphase of treatment in our hospital.Results The MMP-9(191.6 ±38.5)μg/L and PIIINP(8.9 ±1.8)μg/L of observation group treatment prophase were higher than control group[(85.6 ±33.2)μg/ L,(3.5 ±1.5)μg/L],(t = 13.01,14.55,P ＜ 0.05),which were obviously different between treatment anaphase 3d,7d,14d MMP-9[(170.2 ±30.2)μg/L,(123.6 ±32.7)μg/L,(90.2 ±30.2)μg/L]and PIIINPf(6.9 ±1.7)μg/L,(5.2 ±1.6)μg/L、3.7 ±1.8)μg/L]were lower than treatment prophase(t = 12.63,9.58,5.36,5.01 ,18.0,17.8,all P＜0.05);the MMP-9(90.2 ±30.2)μg/L and PIIINP(3.7 ±1.8)μg/L were remove in treatment anaphase 14d,which had no difference between treatment anaphase 14d and treatment prophase(t=0.69,0.54,all P＞ 0.05).Conclusion The MMP-9 and PIIINP were higher diagnostic value in clinical diagnosis acute myocardial infarction,which was worth to be used.

Brain computer interface (BCI) is an interactive communication technology which can be achieved independent of human peripheral nerves and muscles.It provides a man-machine communication and control channel,without using muscular tissue,and makes the communication with outside world possible.This review describes the composition and working principle of the BCI system on the basis of the pervious research results.Then,it focuses on the comparative analysis of physiological parameter and the methods of feature extraction of visual evoked potential technology,spontaneous MU rhythm technology,slow cortical potential technology and so on.At last,the application of BCI technology and the prospect of its development are summarized.

Objective: To optimize the formula and preparation process of metronidazole thermosensitive in situ gel.Methods: The temperature of gelation and 24-h cumulative release were used as the evaluation indices, and the orthogonal tests were carried out to investigate the amounts of poloxamer 407 (P407), poloxamer 188 (P188), sodium alginate and polyethylene glycol 4000 (PEG 4000) to screen the best formula of thermosensitive in situ gel.The in vitro release of metronidazole thermosensitive in situ gel was determined by HPLC and compared with that of commercially available gel.Results: The optimum formula of thermosensitive in situ gel was P407 of 20%, P188 of 18%, sodium alginate of 0.1% and PEG 4000 of 1.5%.The release rate of metronidazole thermosensitive in situ gel was high, and the temperature of gelation was suitable.Compared with that of the commercially available gel, the vaginal retention of the in situ gel was significantly improved.Conclusion: The formula of the in situ gel is reasonable and the preparation process is feasible.

Objective: To investigate the undertected situation in gonococci culture of male urethral secretions. Methods: The 362 cases of male ureethral secreations were simultaneously detected with fluorescence quantitative PCR, germiculture and direct smear method. The results in three detections were statistically analyzed. Results: The fluorescence quantitative PCR positive rate was 29.56%, near to direct smear method (26.52%)（x2=0.83，P>0.05）; the germiculture positive rate(4.42%) was significantly lower than the positive rates of fluorescence quantitative PCR(x2=81.10,P<0.01) and direct smear method(x2=67.60,P<0.01). Conclusion The simple gonococci culture has high missed detection rate(>80%) in detecting male cases. Ensuring the quality of samples before analysis and detecting with two methods or above are the effective measures to improve the gonococci detection rate.

Objective To evaluate the effects of combined detection of sputum and serum procalcitonin (PCT) to identify the etiology of community acquired pneumonia(CAP) in infants.Methods Retrospective analysis from August 2010 to September 2012 enrolled 435 patients with definitely etiological diagnosis of CAP.The all cases were divided into three groups according to the etiological diagnosis:243 cases of bacterial infection group(including mixed bacterial infection),106 cases of viral infection group,and 86 cases of mycoplasma infection group.Sputum and serum PCT levels in all cases were detected,with simultaneous detection of blood leukocytes,C-reactive protein levels.Results Sputum PCT level of bacterial infection group [(8.44 ± 1.08) ng/ml] was significantly higher than viral infection group [(0.32 ±0.12) ng/ml] and mycoplasma infection group [(0.24 ± 0.17) ng/ml],which showed statistically significant difference (F =765.03,P ＜0.01).Serum PCT level of bacterial infection group [(6.69 ± 1.36) ng/ml] was also higher than viral infection group [(0.37 ± 0.22) ng/ml] and mycoplasma infection group [(0.42 ± 0.28) ng/ml],the difference of which was statistically significant (F =240.46,P ＜ 0.01).Meanwhile between the viral infection group and mycoplasma infection group,sputum PCT and serum PCT showed no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).The levels of blood leukocytes and C-reactive protein among 3 groups showed no statistically significant difference(P ＞ 0.05).As the critical value of the PCT ＞ 0.5ng/ml,the positive rates of sputum and serum PCT were significant difference in bacterial infection group (86.83％ vs 73.66％,x2 =13.92,P ＜0.05).The sensitivity of diagnosing bacterial CAP by sputum and serum PCT levels were 86.83％ and 73.66％,the specificity were 86.98％ and 88.54％,respectively.The sensitivity and specificity of combined detection sputum and serum PCT were 72.02％ and 94.27％.Conclusion Combined detection of sputum and serum PCT has clinical value and efficiency in pathogen identification of CAP.

Objective To investigate the influence of case environment, extracting position and method on STR typing of nail DNA. Method Decayed body nails were selected from cases. Nails nuclear DNA were extracted from different positions, digestion system and time. After phenol/chloroform extracting and PCR reaction, the STR typing had been studied. Results Nail samples from middle and root positions offer satisfactory results. Conclusion The nail is a useful sample for forensic cases.

Objective To establish the quality standard for Guishao Zhenxian Tablets. Methods Radix Glycyrrhizae,Radix Codonopsis,Radix Bupleuri were identified by TLC. The content of paeoniflorin in the preparation was determined by HPLC. Results The spots of TLC color spectrum were distinct and there was nointerference from the negative control. The calibration curve was linear over the concentration range of 0.245 2～0.735 6 ?g for paeoniflorin (r=0.999 7) and the average recovery was 98.3%,RSD=1.52% (n=5). Conclusion The established quality standard is convenient and reliable,and can be used to control the quality of Guishao Zhenxian Tablets more effectively.

Objective Glucocorticoid hormone may nongenomically affect cell functions in addition to its classic effects on gene expression. The purpose of present study was to explore whether dexamethasone, a synthetical glucocorticoid hormone, has a rapid nongenomic effect on ATP-induced currents in rat dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons and the related signal transduction pathway. Methods The effects of dexamethasone on ATP-induced currents were studied on cultured DRG neurons using patch clamp technique. Results Three types of currents (transient, sustained and biphasic) were evoked by ATP (100 ?mol/L) in cultured DRG neurons. When DRG neurons were pretreated with dexamethasone (0.01-10?mol/L) for 30s, inhibition of the transient current and the transient component of the biphasic current evoked by ATP in DRG neurons was observed. The inhibitory effect of dexamethasone was dose-dependent. However, dexamethasone did not seem to affect the sustained current and the sustained component of the biphasic current induced by ATP. The inhibitory effect of dexamethasone on ATP-induced currents was blocked by glucocorticoid receptor antagonist RU38486 (10?mol/L) and protein kinase A inhibitor H-89 (10?mol/L), but not by G protein inhibitor GDP-?-S (0.2mmol/L) and protein kinase C inhibitor chelerythrine chloride (10?mol/L). Conclusions Dexamethasone can selectively inhibit the transient current mediated by P2X3 receptors in DRG neurons. The inhibitory effect of dexamethasone might be mediated by glucocorticoid receptor through activating PKA signal pathway. These results suggest that glucocorticoid hormone might participate in the control of pain by modulating the actions of extracellular ATP in sensory neurons.

An accurate, fast and sensitive method based on high performance liquid chromatography was established for the simultaneous determination of eleven ultra-violet absorbents in cosmetics. Eleven ultra-violet absorbents were baseline separated on an Acclaim C18 column within 11. 5 min using acetonitrile-0. 1%formic acid in water ( V/V) mobile phase, and detected at 361 nm with UV detection. Under the optimized conditions, the relative standard derivations ( RSDs) of the eleven ultra-violet absorbents were all less than 0. 1% for retention time, and less than 1. 2% for peak area; good linearity was obtained from 5 to and 500 mg/L with the correlation coefficients of above 0 . 9990 for these analytes; the recoveries spiked in a cosmetic sample were in the range of 77% -116%. Benzophenone-3, butylmethoxydibenzoylmethane, ethylhexylsalicylatec and homosalate were found in the detected cosmetic samples, and the concentration of homosalate was the highest. The results indicated that this method had potential for applications due to its convenience, accuracy and sensitivity. Oxybenzone, butylmethoxydibenzoylmethane, 2-ethylhexyl salicylatec and homosalate were found in the detected cosmetic samples, and the concentration of homosalate was the highest.

BACKGROUND:Atlantal lateral mass screw fixation contains lateral mass screw fixation under the posterior arch of the atlas and lateral mass screw fixation via the posterior arch of atlas (also cal ed atlas pedicle screw fixation) according to different insertion points. The two methods have their advantages and disadvantages. There are lacks of the comparative studies on bony anatomy feasibility by two kinds of atlantal lateral mass screw fixation.
OBJECTIVE:To compare the feasibility associated with two kinds of atlantal lateral mass screw fixations taking Chinese data of atlantal bony anatomy as evidence.
METHODS:Data of CT scans in 30 adults with cervical spondylosis (60 sides) were col ected, and data were reconstructed using CT workstation. We measured key bone anatomy structure after atlantal lateral mass screw fixation. The atlantal lateral mass was suitable for lateral mass screw fixation via the posterior arch of atlas if its height and width of vertebral artery groove at the posterior arch ≥ 4 mm. It was suitable for lateral mass screw fixation under the posterior arch of the atlas if the height of posterior arch of atlas lateral mass ≥ 4 mm.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The height of vertebral artery groove at the posterior arch was (4.54±1.17) mm. The width of vertebral artery groove at the posterior arch was (8.69±1.12) mm. The height of posterior arch of atlas lateral mass was (4.98±1.07) mm. There were 41 cases with the height of vertebral artery groove at the posterior arch>4 mm (suitable for lateral mass screw fixation via the posterior arch of atlas, occupying 68%. There were 52 cases with the height of posterior arch of atlas lateral mass>4 mm (suitable for lateral mass screw fixation under the posterior arch of the atlas), occupying 87%. There were significant differences in the differences between the two groups (P<0.05). These results indicated that lateral mass screw fixation under the posterior arch of the atlas was more feasible compared with lateral mass screw fixation via the posterior arch of atlas. Preoperative CT measure for key anatomic structure was significant for making personalized surgical plan.
