4.Application of 3D-printing in accurate seed implantation therapy
Chinese Journal of Radiological Medicine and Protection 2017;37(7):481-484
Brachytherapy is an important modality for cancer treatment, with advantages of local high doses and little damages to surrounding normal tissues, including high and low dose rate.In the low dose rate brachytherapy, the seeds are implanted into the locations of tumor by way of puncture to kill the tumor cells. The low dose rate brachytherapy for prostate cancer has received the same outcome with surgery and external radiation therapy.3D-printing template was produced by computer program based on image scan information and the needle tract, based on definition of the target prescription dose and 3D-printing template assisted CT guidance for needles puncture and seed implantation.Seed implantation has become the standard procedure in treatment for head and neck, thoracic, abdomen and pelvic cancers according to pre-plan,real-time optimization and post-dese evaluation, which is a symbol of new era for seed implantation.
5.EGFR antibody radiosensitivity enhancement on CL187 cancer cells after continous low dose rate irradiation
Chinese Journal of Radiological Medicine and Protection 2009;29(2):157-160
Objective To investigate the radiosensitivity enhancement on CL187 cancer cell lines after continous low-dose-rate irradiation of 125I seeds blocked by EGFR antibody. Methods There were control group, the irradiation or plus EGFR antibody group, with 3 samples in each group.Clongenic assay was used to detect the survival of cells. The cell cycle distribution and apoptosis were analyzed by flow cytometry. Results The survival fraction of CL187 cells were lower after blocked by EGFR antibody at the same dose irradiation. The SER were 1.34,1.59 and 1.98 when the antibody concentration were 2,5 and 10 nmol/L,respectively.The irradiation plus antibody led to more apoptosis(39.86%±4.38%)of CL187 cells than the irradiation (21.57%±2.97%)plused antibody(12.49%±1.59%)worked alone.Comparison of the low dose rate irradiation related to G2/M cell cycle arrest(46.41%±4.48%),More G1 cell cycle arrest(84.51%±3.42%)walked together along with the EGFR antibody. Conclusions EGFR antibody could enhance the cell radiosensitivity after continuous low-dose-rate.irradiation.The cell cycle redistribution and apoptosis might be the main mechanism of the radiosensitivity enhancement.
6.Advances in the research of decellularization of tissues and organs
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2008;31(5):316-320
Decellularized tissues and organs have been widely used in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. The efficiency of cell removal from a tissue depends on the origin of the tissue and the methods applied. Each of these treatment affects the biochemical composition, tissue ultrastructure, and mechanical behavior of the remaining scaffold, which in turn, affect the host response to the material. Herein, we made a review about the most commonly used decellularization methods and their effects upon biologic scaffolds.
7.Fiscal decentralization and public health service supply in China: A meta-regression analysis
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2017;10(6):73-79
This paper aims to conduct a literature meta-analysis of the results of existing empirical researches about the relationship between fiscal decentralization and supply of public health service in China. It was found that the different empirical results of the impact of China''s fiscal decentralization on the supply of public health services are subject to different research characteristics. The actual results of the impact, especially the significant effect, are influenced by the characteristics of the starting year, the year of termination, and the number of models, whether the model contains population density, transfer payments, degree of openness, and whether the independent variables include the fiscal expenditure decentralization.Through the funnel plot asymmetry test, it was found that there was publication bias in the sample literature.
8.Research progress on brachytherapy for recurrent cervical cancer
Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 2021;30(3):297-300
Cervical cancer is a common malignancy in women. Surgery and radiotherapy are the main therapeutic approaches. The recurrence rate of cervical cancer is high and the prognosis is relatively poor. Recurrent cervical cancer can be classified into the central pelvic, lateral pelvic and extra-pelvic recurrence. The management of recurrent cervical cancer mainly depends on previous therapeutic approaches and the recurrence site. Surgical resection is the optimal option for patients who have no history of radiotherapy, if feasible, chemoradiotherapy±brachytherapy can be considered. Patients with central pelvic recurrence after radiotherapy are suitable candidates for pelvic exenteration±intraoperative radiotherapy. However, the indications are highly selective, the incidence of postoperative complications is high and the quality of life is poor. Patients with lateral pelvic recurrence after radiotherapy could be treated by re-radiotherapy or chemotherapy. However, the incidence of serious side effects of re-radiotherapy is higher than that of the initial radiotherapy. The indications for stereotactic body radiotherapy are limited and the surgical skill of the surgeons is demanding. In recent years, radiotherapy technology has become more precise. Image-guided brachytherapy, such as high-dose-rate interstitial brachytherapy and radioactive 125I seed implantation, has achieved high efficacy and safety, which may provide new treatment options for recurrent cervical cancer. In this article, research progress on brachytherapy for recurrent cervical cancer was summarized and reviewed.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of guided learning in the eye optical applied optics teaching.Methods30 students of Grade 2013 were chosen as experimental group which was given guided learning teaching, and other 30 students of Grade 2013 were chosen as control group which was given used traditional teaching. In the guided learning teaching, self-study and practice students were re-quired to master the key and found the difficulties in the course firstly, answering questions after the group discussion. Then teachers focused on parsing the teaching materials. By the repeated communication and practice students mastered knowledge finally. The control group used the traditional teaching method which was based on the teacher's lecture. Through comparing the theory examination scores, practical as-sessment grades and questionnaire of the students self-assessment, teaching effect based on guided learn-ing was evaluated. Normal distribution measurement data was showed by standard deviation, T test was used in two independent sample measurement data; The count data was showed by rate, using Chi-squared test whichα=0.05.ResultsIn experiment group, the theoretical examination average score was(78.35±7.14) points, while in control group, the average score was(69.15±8.88)points. There were significance differ-ences between the two groups(t=-4.339,P=0.000). The experimental group practical assessment grades and the self-assessment score were superior to control group, and the difference has statistical sig-nificance (P<0.05).ConclusionGuided learning teaching can guide the students to obtain and master relevant knowledge independently, fully arouse their initiative of learning and improve their ability to analyze and solve problems, which can help reach a good teaching effect.
