Objective To discuss the influence of gestational hypothyroxinemia to the pregnancy outcomes and fetus development,and find the evidence of hormone replacement therapy.Methods The clinical data of 1141 gravida admitted from Nov.2014 to Oct.2015 were retrospectively analyzed,including the data of systematic antenatal examination,all the data of pregnancy,the materials of delivery,the last ultrasound examination,production status and the thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) of the newborn etc.,to find the difference of related index.Results Of the 1141 gravida with integral data,200 had past history of thyroid disease,189 showed below normal of free thyroxine (FT4) and 752 were normal ones.The 189 gravida with normal TSH but lower FT4 were divided into group A (0-5％ lower than the normal FT4 value,n=60),group B (5％-10％ lower than the normal FT4 value,n=40) and group C (10％ and above lower than the normal FT4 value,n=89).The ones with both normal TSH and FT4 value served as control group.Compared to the control group,the higher premature delivery rate,incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus and cesarean delivery rate (P＜0.05) were found in group C,and more gravida in group B had a history of hypertension and dyslipidemia during pregnancy (P＜0.05).The cesarean delivery rate of group B and C were higher than group A.Meanwhile,the rate of group B was higher than control group (P＞0.05).At delivery,the maternal weight,BMI,diastolic pressure,and head circumference of fetus in the last ultrasound examination were higher in group C than in control group (P＜0.01),but the gestational weeks of the newborn were shorter in group C (38.55 ± 1.86 weeks) than in control group (39.14 ± 1.57 weeks,P＜0.01).The 189 gravida with lower FT4 were divided into two groups according to the thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) level.The head circumference of fetus in the last ultrasound examination was higher in TPOAb(+) group than in TPOAb(-) group (45.99 ± 62.36cm vs.33.23 ± 2.08cm,P＜0.01).Conclusions The influence of gestational hypothyroxinemia to pregnancy outcomes and fetus development cannot be ignored,especially for the pregnant women with lower FT4 value (10％ and above lower than the normal) or with positive TPOAb.It is suggested to take the thyroid function test in the early stage of pregnancy for those pregnant women mentioned above.

Recently, Clinical pharmacy becomes a new specialty of higher education in China. Therefore, building clinical pharmacy teaching quality monitoring system (CPTQMS) is very important not only for improving the teaching quality but also for training inter-disciplinary talents. We try to discuss the connotation and practice of CPTQMS from the objectives, measures and information system. We hope our work can present valuable suggestions for the construction and improvement of CPTQMS in Chinese higher education.

Objective To compare RNA interference (RNAi) with imatinib in killing K562 cells. Methods Design effective shRNA sequences special for bcr-abl silencing and insert them into the eukaryotic expression vector for RNAi by gene engineering. The recombinant plasmi(ts were then transfected into K562 cells. 48 hours later, the efficiency of transfection was identified by fluorescent microscope, bcr-abl mRNA level was detected by RT-PCR. Another group of K562 cells were treated respectively by imatinib with different concentration. All groups of K562 cells were finally analyzed in apoptosis, cell proliferation and phosphotyrosine-containing proteins. Results Both RNAi and imatinib induced apoptosis, decreased proliferation and reduced phosphotyrosine-containing proteins. Conclusion BNAi can kill K562 cells successfully as imatinib, and it may be a promising way to treat CML patients in clinic, especially for those who fail in imatinib or other chemotherapy.

Objective To investigate the Th1/Th2 polarization of T lymphocytes in human peripheral blood stimulated by CpG-ODN2216,and the secretion of cytokines in supernatant of cultured PBMCs after stimulation of CpG-ODN2216.Methods Human PBMCs were isolated from blood of donors.The PBMCs were incubated with CpG-ODN2216 for 24 hours.Th1/Th2 subsets in the cultured PBMCs were examined by flow cytometry,and IFN-?,IL-2,IL-4 and IL-10 in the supernatant were assayed by ELISA.Results The percentage of Th1 and Tc1 increased significantly after stimulation of CpG-ODN2216 compared with control group (P0.05).Conclusion The Th1 cells and Tc1 cells in T lymphocytes of peripheral blood could be polarizated by CpG-ODN 2216.IFN-? secretion in PBMCs could be induced by CpG-ODN2216.

Objective:To investigate the influential factors correlated to bone mineral density(BMD) in the lumbar vertebra of postmenopausal females,and to find out the influence of body mass and menostasis time on BMD. Methods: BMD in the frontal and lateral lumbar vertebrae of postmenopausal females were measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA).The correlations of BMD to age,body height,body mass,body mass index(BMI),menopausal age,and/or menopausal years were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS10.0. Results:The change of BMD in the frontal lumbar vertebra was positive to body mass but negatively with postmenopausal years,and that in the lateral lumbar vertebra was closely correlated to BMI. Conclusion: Bone mineral density decreases with increase of menostasis time.Females with a high body mass numerical value have higher bone mineral density.

Objective: To explore the potential influencing factors of the quality guidelines for medical treatment by factor analysis.Method: We analyzed with the SPSS package 9 quality guidelines for medical treatment in the department of integrated TCM and Western medicine of a hospital,including the out-patient person-time,the number of discharges,the average days of hospitalization,the rate of bed utilization,the frequency of bed rotation,the rate of cure and improvement,the case fatality rate,the coincidence rate of diagnoses at admission and discharge,and the success rate of emergency treatment.Results: Four common factors were extracted,namely,the quantifiable factor,determined by the out-patient person-time,the number of discharges,the average days of hospitalization and the frequency of bed rotation;the treatment factor,determined by the cure and improvement rate and case fatality rate;the diagnostic factor,determined mainly by the rate of bed utilization and the coincidence rate of diagnoses at admission and discharge;and the emergency treatment factor,determined by the success rate of emergency treatment.The cumulative contribution rate of the 4 factors was 85.1%.Conclusion: The amount of medical work,the techniques of treatment,the ability of diagnosis and the efficiency of emergency rescue are the main influencing factors of quality guidelines for medical treatment.

Objective To explore the expression of NF-?B in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia and possible mechanism of treating asthma with dexamethsone. Methods The alterations of NF-?B activity and its mRNA expression were investigated by means of immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization histochemistry combined with the micro-image analysis in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia in the asthmatic and dexamethsone-treated guinea pigs. Results The NF-?B immunoreactivity was found mainly in cytoplasm and weakly in nucleus,its mRNA was expressed weakly in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia in the control groups.The NF-?B immunoreactivity was more in nucleus and less in cytoplasm,the expression of its mRNA increased significantly in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia in the asthmatic group compared with the control groups(P0.05).Conclusion The present results indicate that NF-?B in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia might be involved in the pathogenesis of the bronchial asthma,and inhibiting the expression and activity of NF-?B in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia might be one of the mechanisms of treating the bronchial asthma with dexamethsone.

Objective To analyze the clinicopathological characteristics of patients with gastrointestinal malignant tumor in some parts of Hainan province and alien patients outside of Hainan province. Methods Three hundred and fifteen patients who were diagnosed by pathological confirmation were selected in Hainan Branch of PLA General Hospital from Jun 2012 to June 2016, clinicopathological parameters including age, gender, tumor location, cancer cell differentiation, body mass index (BMI), body surface area (BSA), value of preoperative tumor markers, TNM stages, microsatellite state, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (Her-2) staining, Ki-67 index and risk factors were collected and compared between local and alien patients. Results In contrast with patients outside of Hainan province, a significant lesser BMI [colorectal cancer: (23 ± 3) kg/m2 vs. (24 ± 4) kg/m2, t=-3.69, P< 0.05; gastric cancer: (21.50 ± 3.15) kg/m2 vs. (23.00 ± 3.61) kg/m2, t=-2.11, P=0.04] and BSA [colorectal cancer:[(1.73 ± 0.18) m2 vs. (1.82 ± 0.18) m2, t=-3.46, P<0.05;gastric cancer:(1.73 ± 0.16) m2 vs. (1.81 ± 0.18) m2, t=-2.09, P=0.04] were found in local patients. Local patients with colorectal cancer were much more younger [(57 ± 13) years old vs. (62 ± 13) years old, t=-2.30, P=0.02], with corresponding elevated positive rate of preoperative CEA (χ2=4.56, P= 0.03), T stages (χ2 = 8.31, P= 0.04) and TNM stages (χ2= 11.19, P= 0.01), however, no such difference was detected in gastric cancer patients (all P>0.05). Conclusions Patients with gastrointestinal cancer in some parts of Hainan province, in particular, colorectal cancer patients, present some exceptional clinicopathological features, which are marked by younger age at diagnosis, low level of BMI and BSA. In addition, preoperative level of CEA would be of important for these patients.

Objective To assess the association between NOD2 gene single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and leprosy in Chinese Yi population.Methods Whole blood samples were obtained from 300 patients with leprosy and 300 healthy human controls of Yi nationality in Sichuan province.Genomic DNA was extracted,and a SNaPshot assay was performed to determine the genotypes of four single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the NOD2 gene,including rs9302752,rs7194886,rs8057341 and rs3135499.Chi-square test was conducted to compare allele frequency,and Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium was tested.Results The genotype distribution of all the four SNPs was consistent with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (all P ＞ 0.05).Significant differences were observed between the patients with leprosy and healthy controls in both genotype distribution and allele frequency of the SNP rs3135499 (both P ＜ 0.01),but not in those of the other three SNPs (all P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion The SNP rs3135499 of the NOD2 gene may be associated with the development of leprosy in Chinese Yi population.
