Journal of Clinical Neurology 1995;0(04):-
Objective To analyse the correlation of apolipoprotein E genotype and Alzheimer's disease(AD) in old population in Urumqi. Methods The polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP) techniques were used to detect the distribution of genotype, gene frequency of ApoE alleles in 60 cases with sporadic AD and 90 normals as control. Results The frequency of ApoE?2, ApoE?3, ApoE?4 was 6.67%, 75.83% and 17.50% respectively in AD group, while in control group, it was 13.33%, 79.45% and 7.22% respectively. The frequency of ApoE?4 allele in AD group was higher than that in control group( P

Objective To analyse the association of apolipoprotein E genotype with cerebral infarction and myocardial infarction in the old population of Urumqi. Methods The polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism technique were used to detect the distribution of genotype and gene frequency of ApoE alleles in 56 cases of cerebral infarction(CI), 60 cases of myocardial infarction (MI) and 104 healthy subjects as control. Results The frequency of ApoE ?3/?4 and ?4/?4 genotypes in CI and MI groups was higher than that in control group(P

ObjectiveTo observe the pathogenic relationship and the mechanisms between the first molars and the temporomandibular disorders(TMD) by getting epidemiology data.MethodsThe oral examinational people during 2007 to 2011 as investigating objects were selected and epidemiological study was carried out with standard clinical diagnostic criteria for dental caries TMD.ResultsThe people with dysfunctional first molars showed that TMD positive rate was 51.48%,and normal molars was 23.47%.The results had significant difference( x2 =54.34,P < 0.01 ).ConclusionThe people with dvsfunction of first molars mav be liable to TMD.

Recently, Clinical pharmacy becomes a new specialty of higher education in China. Therefore, building clinical pharmacy teaching quality monitoring system (CPTQMS) is very important not only for improving the teaching quality but also for training inter-disciplinary talents. We try to discuss the connotation and practice of CPTQMS from the objectives, measures and information system. We hope our work can present valuable suggestions for the construction and improvement of CPTQMS in Chinese higher education.

Objective To study the influences of long-term cryopreservation on nucleated cell viability,colony-form- ing units-granulocyte-macrophage(CFU-GM)-forming capability and Lymphocyte immune-phenotypes of pe- ripheral blood hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell(HS/PC)collections.Methods Fresh samples(n=12)were as control, frozen samples were divided into two groups:group 1(cryopreserved for 3-5 years,n=26)and group 2 (cryopreserved for 5-7 years,n=9).Flow cytometry(FCM)method based on 7 AAD or caspase-3staining was ap- plied to assess the degree of cell necrosis or apoptosis in cryopreserved and red-cell lytic collection samples.Lympho- cyte immune-phenotypes(CD3/CD4/CD8/CD19/CD16+56,CD4/CIM5RA/CIMSRO,CD8/CD28)were also de- tected by FCM.CFU-GM culture was done to study the hematopoietic activity. Results Percentages of necrosis and apoptosis cells of the control were both less than the groupl and group2(P

Objective To study the expression of polycystin1 and polycystin2 in dissection aorta specimens by Real time PCR and immunohistochemisty. Methods Twelve descending dissection aorta specimens from patients of acute Stanford B dissection were taken during surgery; 12 normal descending aorta specimens were taken from multi-organ donors. The G APDH gene was used as control, gene expression of polycystinl and polycystin2 were compared in these two groups with Real time PCR. The expression of polycystinl and polycystin2 protein were showed with immunohistochemisty in the specimen of these two groups. Three high magnify fields were randomly chosen to count the expression of polycystin1 and polycystin2 protein. The counting of polycystin1 and polycystin2 protein were compared between these two groups. Results The gene expression of polycystinl in AD group is 0. 32 fold as that in the control group (P < 0.01 ) and polyeystin2 in AD group is 0.34 fold as that in the control group (P <0.01 ); The protein expression of polyeystinl was 0.47 folds as that in the control group ( P < 0.05 ) and polycystin2 in AD group is 0.35 folds as that in the control group ( P < 0.01 ). Conclusions The expression of polycystin1 and polycystin2 on gene and protein level were down regulated in AD group. The down regulation of polycystinl and polycystin2 may play a pivotal role in the development of AD.
