The ADR reports of Chinese Caterpillar Fungus and its preparations were retrieved through CNKI database and further analyzed. It was found that their adverse actions were mainly allergic responses involved with urinary system, endocrine system, and gastrointestinal system simultaneously. Specification should be stipulated on the use of Chinese Caterpillar Fungus and its preparations.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016;38(7):643-645
Objective To improve the skills of pharmacists in pharmaceutical care and to provide patients with better individualized pharmaceutical care. Methods A total of 785 traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) counseling outpatient cases, consultation modes, objectives, consulting drugs, consulting problems were analyzed. Results Office counseling was the dominant method for TCM counseling (85.10%), followed by telephone counseling (14.90%). Of all the counselings, patients and their relatives accounted for 80.63%, where females was 60.25% and males 39.75%; and patients over 40 years of age accounted for 81.91%. Of all the pharmacy counseling, heart system disorder were the major (14.79%), followed by drugs for Qi, blood and body fluid disorder (12.61%); the contents of counseling were diversity, which included dosage and administration amounts (29.04%), experience for drug use (14.14%), drug interactions (10.39%) and adverse reactions (9.55%). Conclusion TCM counseling could offer an effective platform of communication between pharmacists and patients, improve patients' medication compliance, and ensure patients' safe, rational, economical and effective.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2020;42(10):978-982
Objective:To investigate the effect and possible mechanism of curcumin on the growth and invasion of thyroid carcinoma papillary K1 cells.Methods:K1 cells were randomly divided into control group, solvent control group, and curcumin group with 10, 30 and 50 μmol/L. The control group was only added with fresh medium, the solvent control group was added with dimethyl sulfoxide medium, and the 10, 30, 50 μmol/L curcumin groups were added with 10, 30 and 50 μmol/L curcumin respectively. The effects of curcumin on the growth of thyroid cancer papillary carcinoma K1 cells were observed by MTT assay. PI and Hochest3342 double staining were used to detect cell death. Transwell chamber was used to verify the effect on cell invasion. Western blot was used to observe the effects of curcumin on expression of Vimentin and E-cadherin.Results:Compared to the control group and solvent control group, the cell survival rate significantly decreased and the cell death rate of 10, 30, 50 μmol/L curcumin groups significantly increased ( P<0.05). The cell invasion rate (80.12% ± 3.43%, 65.59% ± 4.11%, 30.32% ± 4.67% vs. 100.00% ± 2.81%, 98.82% ± 2.18%) of 10, 30, 50 μmol/L curcumin groups significantly decreased ( P<0.05). The expression of E-cadherin (0.41 ± 0.12, 0.63 ± 0.14, 0.70 ± 0.13 vs. 0.34 ± 0.10, 0.35 ± 0.11) of 10, 30, 50 μmol/L curcumin groups significantly increased ( P<0.05), and the expression of Vimentin (0.70 ± 0.11, 0.22 ± 0.10 vs. 0.87 ± 0.12, 0.87 ± 0.13) of 10, 30, 50 μmol/L curcumin groups significantly decreased ( P<0.05). Conclusions:Curcumin can inhibit the proliferation and invasion of papillary thyroid carcinoma K1 cells and accelerate cell death.

Objective:
To investigate the efficacy of Kinesio taping combined with warm needling on knee osteoarthritis (KOA) and its effect on serum levels of immune globulin(Ig)A, IgG, IgM.
Methods:
Sixty-two KOA patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into 2 groups by random number table (31 cases in each group). The control group was treated with routine thrapy. Based on the control group, the observation group was treated with Kinesio taping combined with warm needling. After 6 weeks treatment, scores of visual analogue scale (VAS) was used to evaluate knee pain, Japanese orthopaedic association (JOA) scale was used to evaluate knee function, and Lequesne index was used to evaluate disease severity. The score of TCM clinical symptoms was conducted according to the KOA symptom grading quantification table, and the quality of life was evaluated according to the Chinese version of the MOS item short from health survey (SF-36). The Immunoglobulin(Ig)A, IgG and IgM levels were detected by ELISA method.
Results:
The total effective rate in the observation group was 93.5%, and the control group was 71.0% (28/31). The difference was statistically significant between two groups (
