Lysimachiae Herba and Desmodii Styracifolii Herba are common traditional Chinese medicines for treating lithiasis. Both of them have efficacies of clearing heat, diuresis and eliminating calculi. However, there are some differences in their clinic applications. The former is mainly used to treat hepatolithiasis, gallstones, jaundice, stranguria and gout; Whereas the latter is mainly used to treat urinary calculus. In this paper, the pharmacological effects of Lysimachiae Herba and Desmodii Styracifolii Herba on removing calculus, choleresis, anti-inflammation and oxidation resistance were compared and analyzed based on document retrieval. In conclusion, both of them show the preventive and therapeutic effects on kidney stones and gallstones. Particularly, Desmodii Styracifolii Herba has a better effect in treating the kidney stones, while Lysimachiae Herba has a better effect in treating cholesterol gallstones.

Objective To analyze the main sources of dioxins pollution in fishes samples. Methods The principal components analysis was employed to identify different dioxin emission sources data and to analyze the environmental and aquatic samples. The Principal Component Analysis seems to be a powerful tool for source identification with the ratio of each concentration of the 2,3,7,8-subtituted congener to the concentration of the total 2,3,7,8-subtituted congeners. Results The result obtained from Principal Component Analysis showed that there were different dioxin compositions between chemical emission sources and other emission sources. Conclusion The pollution sources of PCDD and PCDF polluted aquatic life from different countries,regions are not the same.

Objective To improve the recognition in clinical features,diagnosis and treatment of POEMS syndrome.Method Twenty-one cases of POEMS syndrome were analyzed retrospectively.Results The major clinical features were shown as follows: 21 cases of polyneuropathy, organomegaly, edema and skin changes, 13 cases of monoclonal plasma proliferative disorder, 19 cases of endocrinopathy, 1 case of sclerotic bone lesions, 1 case of Castleman disease,5 cases of papilledema.Conclusions POEMS syndrome is a rare multi-system damage disease.Screening for POEMS syndrome with serum protein electrophoresis, immunofixation electrophoresis,electromyogram and radionuclide bone scanning are essential for all patients with unexplained peripheral neuropathy or multi-system damage.If the index of suspicion is high enough, bone marrow cytomorphologic examination or biopsy with immunohistochemical staining may be required,in order to make an early diagnosis and try to avoid misdiagnosis and mistherapy.

Objective To explore the effects of wound healing and histological changes by utilizing ultrapulse CO2 fractional laser for the treatment of superficial scar in dermal-epidermal junction (DEJ) in rabbit ears.Methods We adopted traditional iodophor treatment and moist exposed burn ointment treatment repairing the wound and utilizing ultra pulse CO2 fractional laser for the treatment of rabbit ears superficial scar.The superficial scars in rabbit ear were induced with ultra pulse CO2 fractional laser.In 1,2,4,8 weeks tissue samples would be taken.Using electron microscopy we observed DEJ ultrastructure and light microscopy to observe the histological changes of the dermal papilla and PAS staining for epidermis basement membrane.Results The wound healing time of moist exposed burn ointment group was shorter than that of iodophor group (P＜0.05).The number of hemidesmosomes and anchoring fibers in the moist exposed burn ointment group on the 8th week was more than the 1th week,The number of hemidesmosomes and anchoring fibers in the iodophor group on 8th week was more than 1th week (P ＜0.05).The number of hemidesmosomes and anchoring fibers in the iodophor group was less than the moist exposed burn ointment group (P＜0.05).Conclusions U1trapulse CO2 fractional laser can cause ultra structural changes in scarring dermal-epidermal junction area,wet wound healing environment promotes the reconstruction of DEJ district organization,and rebuilding the function of the scar skin has the positive significance.

Objective:The pathogenesis of endometriosis(EMT)was explored by detecting the relationship of progesterone receptors(PR)and apoptosis-associated factors with EMT.Methods:Immunohistochemical imaging analysis was used to quantify the expression of PR,Bcl-2 and Bax in ectopic and eutopic endometrium in patients with EMT.Results:Expressions of PR and Bcl-2 in eutopic endometrium are higher than those in ectopic endometrium(P<0.05).Expression of Bax in ectopic endometrium is higher than that in eutopic endometrium(P<0.05).There is no statistical difference of PR,Bcl-2 and Bax expression between proliferative and secretary endometrium.Conclusions:Either in proliferative or secretary phase,expressions of PR in eutopic endometrium are higher than those in ectopic endometrium,thus eutopic endometrium is more liable to proliferate in low level continuously,migrate and implant.Expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax in eutopic and ectopic endometrium have no relationship with endometrium cycling.The apoptosis of ectopic endometrium is weakened and its proliferative power is continuously enhanced.

ObjectiveTo find out the prevalence of brucellosis in Baotou,and to provide a scientific basis for integrated control of brucellosis.MethodIn 2010,high-risk people 7 to 70 years of age engaged in livestock farming,grazing,slaughtering,processing and selling were investigated in 9 districts (banners,counties)of Baotou city.In accordance with the principle of informed consent,blood samples were collected,serum titer was tested using the rose bengal agglutination test and tube agglutination test(SAT),and serum titer of 1:100(+ +) was considered as positive brucellosis,and results were evaluated based on brucellosis monitoring standards(GB 16885-1997).ResultsA total of 5832 copy blood samples were collected,and 250 cases were tested positive,the positive rate was 4.25％.The number of new cases was 164,accounting for 2.81％ (164/5832).Age was mainly concentrated in the 40 to 60 years,accounting for 66.0％(165/250).Brucellosis infection in the livestock industry accounted for 80.87％ (4757/5882).From the regional distribution,DAMAOQI had the most detected cases,and the detection rate was 12.10％ (73/603).ConclusionsContinue to increase the brucellosis prevention knowledge propaganda,carry out brucellosis surveillance of high-risk people,quarantine,and strengthen immunity is the only measure of effective control of brucellosis epidemic.
