Objective To compare the effect of traditional open surgery and laparoscopic repair of gastric perforation on postoperative pulmonary function. Methods Fifty patients were divided into two groups according to therapeutic method.Group A underwent traditional open gastric perforation repair(n=25).Group B underwent laparoscopic repair of gastric perforation(n=25).The pulmonary functions were examined at 1 day,3 days and 7 days postoperatively. Results All patients had different degrees of postoperative pulmonary function decline. After operation, the forced vital capacity(FVC)and forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1)and vital capacity(VC)in group A were significantly lower than those in preoperation(P<0.05).The patients in laparoscopic operation group decreased significantly only on the first day postoperative. The postoperative pulmonary function of patients undergoing open surgery was significantly lower than that of patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic repair of gastric perforation has less damage to the lung function than traditional open gastric perforation repair.Laparoscopic surgery plays an important role in the recovery of postoperative pulmonary function.

Objective To evaluate the criteria for diagnosis of atypical squamous cells(ASC)and its two subtypes: undetermined significance ASC (ASC US) and atypical squamous cells cannot exclude high grade intraepithelial lesion (HSIL, ASC H) defined in 2001 the Bethesda system(TBS) Method One thousand one hundred and eighty six pap smears and liquid based thin layer preparations with diagnosis of atypical squamous cells of undetermined signification (ASCUS) according to TBS 1991 criteria, were re classified by a cytopathologist using TBS 2001 criteria Results The cytologic diagnosis according to TBS 2001 criteria was: negative in 285 cases(24 0 %), ASC US in 627 cases (52 9 %), ASC H in 254 cases(21 4 %), low grade intraepithelial lesion (LISL) in 16 cases(1 3 %), and HISL in 4 cases (0 3 %), respectively Out of 1186 cases, 168 received histological examination Cervical intra epithelial neoplasia (CIN) II III were diagnosed in 18 9 % of patients with ASC H, 5 2% of patients with ASC US, and 14 3% of patients with ASCUS defined by using TBS 1991 criteria, respectively ( P

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1993;0(06):-
This paper discusses the design of a special digital manometer for air-pocket in manual air-way. Integrated silicon pressure sensor MPX5010 with high precision and sensitivity is adopted in the device. It can not only measure and display air pressure of air-pocket,but also give the alarm for excessive pressure, thus providing a timely and convenient way for clinician to control air-pocket pressure, which ensures the safety and precision for clinic.

0.05).Conclusions New criteria of plasma lipid values in 2 to 6 years old children in Beijing are established by our investigation.Criterion of borderline and high of TC and LDL-C levels are settled.Cut-off of hypertriglyceridemia and hypo-high density lipoprotein cholesterolemia are also established.

Objectives To study the effect of Lactulose oral solution combined with polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder on the intestinal cleanness. Methods One hundred and twenty patients undergoing electronic colonoscopy were divided into the experiment group and the control group,60 cases in each group. The experiment group orally took Lactulose oral solution and polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder 1d before the check, while the control group polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder 1d before the check. The two groups were compared in terms of intestinal cleanness and adverse reactions. Results The experiment group was significantly better than the control group in intestinal cleanness(P>0.05)and there were no significant difference has in adverse reactions(P>0.05).Conclusion The combined use of polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder and Lactulose Oral Solution may improve the intestinal cleanness and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy 1996;0(04):-
Objective To compare the differences in mucin-histochemistry and etiology of Barrett's esophagus (BE) intestinal metaplasia (IM) , cardiac intestinal metaplasia (CIM) and gastric antrum intestinal metaplasia (GA-IM). Methods Alcian blue /periodic acid-schiff (AB/PAS) and high iron diamine / alcian blue (HID/AB) histochemical methods were used to classify IM in BE, cardia and gastric antrum, and IM were classified into three subtypes: complete small intestinal type (type Ⅰ ) , incomplete small intestinal type (type Ⅱ) and incomplete colonic type (type Ⅲ). Compared the prevalence of different subtypes of IM in above-mentioned sites, and investigated their relationships among the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection. Results The prevalence of type Ⅲ IM in long-segment BE (LSBE) and short-segment BE (SSBE) is 75. 0% and 63. 3% respectively, it is significantly higher than that in CIM (23. 1% ) and GA-IM ( 17. 7% ) (P
