OBJECTIVETo analyze rationality of internal fixation with original fixation in the second operation for femoral nonunion.

METHODSA retrospective study was conducted to analyze the clinical data of 19 femoral nonunion patients treated by internal fixation with original fixation in the second operation since January 2009 to July 2014, including 14 males and 5 females with an average age of (43.63 ± 3.95) years old ranging from 18 and 75 years old. The original fixations involved plate fixation in 11 cases and interlocking intramedullary nail in 8 cases (including 3 cases of retrograde interlocking intramedullary nails). There were 13 cases of atrophic nonunion and 6 cases of hypertrophic nonunion in pathological classification. After second operation, the fracture healing time, Harris hip score and range of motion of the knee joint was recorded and compared with preoperative.

RESULTSAfter the second operatioin, all patients were followed up for 6 to 30 months with an average of (18.67 ± 7.59) months. All patients got fracture healing, and the fracture radiological healing time was from 7 to 29 months with an average of (15.78 ± 4.97) months. Harris hip scores were improved from preoperative 62.37 ± 19.48 to postoperative 87.42 ± 8.86. The range of motion of the knee joint was improved from preoperative (52.16 ± 20.10)° to postoperative (96.32 ± 22.10)°.

CONCLUSIONIt has a better clinical healing rate for using original fixation to treat femoral nonunions, and theoretically speaking it was rationality.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of combination of umbilical compress therapy with Xiaotan Lishui Gel and intraperitoneal chemotherapy with cisplatin in patients with gastric cancer ascites. Methods A total of 78 patients were included and divided randomly into treatment group (39 patients) and control group (38 patients). Patients of both groups received intraperitoneal chemotherapy with cisplatin, and the treatment group received additionally umbilical compress therapy of Xiaotan Lishui Gel. Two weeks were regarded as a course of treatment. All patients were followed up for 180 days. The total effective rate, puncture-free survival, interval time of puncture, median survival time, life quality, improvement of symptoms and safety of the two groups were observed. Results Finally 73 patients completed the observation. The total effective rate was 56.76%(21/37) in the treatment group and 33.33%(12/36) in the control group, with statistical significance (P=0.044). The puncture-free survival and interval time of puncture were 59 d and 62 d, respectively, and 49 d and 54 d in the control group, respectively (P<0.05). There was no difference in median survival time between the two groups. Karnofsky performance status in the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group (P=0.012), and decreased mobility, abdominal pain, abdominal distension, early satiety and urinary frequency in the treatment group were better improved than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Combination of umbilical compress therapy with Xiaotan Lishui Gel and intraperitoneal chemotherapy with cisplatin can postpone the ascites increasing speed of patients with gastric cancer ascites, and improve patients’ life quality.

Objective To observe the effect of Xiaoyukang capsule on the treatment of limb fracture healing.Methods65 patients according to randomized double-blind were divided into two groups (n=33) and control group (n=32 patients), postoperative observation group Xiaoyukang capsule treatment, control group were not special treatment.At different time points in all patients visual analog scale (VAS score), fracture healing fracture line score and grade the degree of X-ray, using Elisa method of total osteocalcin and collagen type I amino-terminal extension of a peptide levels (TPINP) was measured analysis of two sets of data differences.ResultsThe patients in the observation group 3 days, 7 days after, 10 days after VAS scores were lower than the control group[(3.49±0.31) points vs.4.69±0.46 points](P<0.05);[(2.40±0.25) points vs.(3.54±0.35)points](P<0.05);(1.33±0.14) points than (2.42±0.27) points, P<0.05).Patients observed Group 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks after the fracture line rates were higher (1.59±0.27 points than (1.01±0.21) points(P<0.05);(2.65±0.40) points than (1.96 ± 0.36)min, P<0.05;(3.45±0.46) points than (2.65 ± 0.41) points(P<0.05).③ patients after 8 weeks of observation group and TPINP water osteocalcin were higher (65.37±8.07)μg/L ratio(39.95±7.18)μg/L(P<0.05);[(81.05±6.89)ng /mL ratio of (39.95±7.18) μg/L] (P<0.05).④ observation group 8 weeks after fracture healing X-ray grade level 69.70% than the control group 37.50%, and the difference was significant (P<0.05).Conclusionlimb fracture patients after taking the capsules Xiaoyu relieve pain, regulate the body and osteocalcin levels TPINP to promote fracture healing.

Objective:Using analytic hierarchy process(AHP)method to construct the risk evaluation of medical equipment.Methods: Combine the professors’ suggestion, data of maintenance and quality control to several medical equipments in different hospitals. Screen six kinds of medical equipment, including infant incubator, high-frequency electrotome, defibrillator, ECG monitor, ventilator and infusion pumps.Results: Ventilator has highest risk and need to be concentrated.Conclusion: The results can guide quality control, patrol, and maintenance.

Objective To study the reversal effect of adriamycin (ADM) resistance in human breast cancer cell line MCF-7/ADM by realgar (REA) combined with ?-elemene (?-ELE), two types of anticancer drugs. Methods The sensitivity to ADM of MCF-7/ADM cells was studied by MTT assay.The intracellular accumulation of ADM in MCF-7/ADM cells was observed by fluorescent-spectrophotometry. Expressions of P-GP protein and Bcl-2 protein were detected by flow cytometry. Objective To explore the executive function in clinical subtypes of attention deficit hyperac?tivity disorder( ADHD) . Methods 19 children with ADHD/ inattentive type( ADHD?I) ,13children with ADHD/hyperactive?impulsive( ADHD?HI) 33 children with ADHD/combined type ( ADHD?C ) and 30 normal children were tested by Stroop test ( included Stroop C and Stroop CW) ,modified Wisconsin card sorting test( M?WCST) , tower of Hanoi,digital span and verbal fluency. AIM: To study the effect of environment of liver regeneration on the proliferation of rat fetal hepatocytes after intrasplenical transplantation. METHODS: Fetal hepatocytes isolated from 3-week SD rat fetuses bred were transplanted into the spleens of liver regeneration model rats with 70% partial hepatectomy. The cell cycle of the hepatocytes in the remnants liver was analyzed by flow cytometer and the density dimensions of the donor fetal hepatocytes in spleen were measured by image analysis system 7 and 30 days post-transplantation, respectively. Objective To explore the influence of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) on the differentiation of nerve stem cells (NSCs) from neonatal rat hippocampus in vitro and to find new revulsant of NSCs,which can improve the percentage of NSCs differentiating into neurons.Methods Twenty-four hours neonatal rats were selected to obtain hippocampus tissue to culture NSCs in serum-free culture medium by suspending culture.The high pure NSCs were obtained after passing 2 generations.The culture cells were identified as NSCs by staining of nestin,which was NSCs special marker.After passaged three generations,the NSCs were randomly classified into 2 groups:test group and control group.There were 15 pieces per group.There was 2 mL per piece,which contains 1?105 cells.50 g/L fetal bovine serum(FBS) and 20 ?g/L BDNF were added into foundational culture medium in test group;only 50 g/L FBS was added into foundational culture medium in control group.The neurons and their percentage were tested using the immunofluorescence labeling and flow cytometer after 7 days of differentiated cultivation.Results The hippocampus tissue cells grew in globular in serum-free culture medium by suspending culture,which expressed highly positive by nestin immunofluorescence staining.Its purity was above 90%.The percentage of neurone specific enolase(NSE)-positive cells in test group was 60.45%,which was obviously higher than that of control group (23.67%).The difference was significant between 2 groups(?2=27.75 P
