Objective:To explore the value of social support rating scale using in patients with vasovagal syncope (VVS) .Methods:Social support rating scale (SSRS) established by XIAO Shui-yuan was used .A total of 200 VVS patients were collected from inpatients and outpatients and they received social support status investigation ,another 100 normal people were collected from our physical examination center were regarded as control (normal control group) .Results:Compared with normal control group ,there were significant reductions in scores of each item and total score of social support [ (37.22 ± 9.15) scores vs .(33.50 ± 8.64) scores] in VVS group ,P<0.05 or <0.01 ;compared with male patients ,there were significant rise in scores of subjective support [ (17.63 ± 6.72) scores vs . (18.62 ± 7.56) scores] ,utilization of support [ (7.51 ± 2.26) scores vs .(8.92 ± 2.82) scores] and total social sup-port [(34.32 ± 10.61) scores vs .(36.79 ± 7.86) scores] ,and significant reduction in objective support score [(9.28 ± 4.15) scores vs .(8.37 ± 3.49) scores] in female patients , P<0.05 or <0.01;compared with middle-aged and aged group ,there were significant rise in scores of subjective support [ (17.08 ± 6.34) scores vs .(19.51 ± 6.73) scores] and total social support [(33.18 ± 10.74) scores vs .(36.87 ± 8.73) scores] ,and significant reduction in uti-lization of support score [ (8.47 ± 2.60) scores vs .(7.53 ± 1.95) scores] in young group ,P<0.05 or <0.01. Con-clusion:Social support assessment is help to perform individualized diagnosis and therapy for patients with vasovagal syncope ,and help to improve their quality of life .

The total aralosides extracted from Aralia elata (Miq) Seem. were studied in mice ( 50 mg/kg/d for 7 d ) to investigate the pharmacological mechanisms on the molecular level.The results showed that aralosides can obviously stimulate the production of PGE2、PGF2, and cAMP but reduce the cGMP level and nave no effect on histamine release.It is suggested that the changes in the level of cyclic nucleotide might be due to the alternations of PGs, which is now been suspected as the "Second Messenger" . These findings could explain in part the pharmacological activities of aralosides on the molecular level.

Objective To explore the significance of multiple microelectrode guided technique in determining the sensory?motor area of the sub?thalamic nucleus(STN)in deep brain stimulation(DBS)surgeries. Methods A total of 22 electrophysiological recording data of STNs recorded by multiple microelectrode was retrospectively analyzed ,while another 20 electrophysiological recording data of STNs recorded by a single micro?electrode was recruited as the control group. Results A total of 64 microelectrodes were used in 22 STNs guided by multiple electrophysiological recording electrodes. Sensory or motor activated potentials were recorded in 21 sides(95.5%),while regular discharge was recorded in one side. The average length of typical STN activity on the optimal channel of multiple electrophysiological recording electrodes was 5.58±0.53 mm,and the average length of sensory or motor activated potentials was 3.27±1.54 mm. In contrast,the average length of typical STN activity recorded by single microelectrode was 5.02±1.01 mm. However,sensory or motor activated potentials were recorded in 13 sides(65.0%)with the average length of 1.36±0.98 mm. Among the 22 STNs guided by multiple electrophysiological recording electrodes,the final implanted target was consistent with the initially selected anatomic target in 13 sides(coincidence rate,59.1%). In 9 sides,the electrophysiological target was inconsistent with the initially selected anatomic target. Conclusion STN DBS performed with multiple electrophysiological recording electrodes resulted in better outcomes of recording of the average length of typical STN activity or the average length of sensory or motor activated potentials of STN ,final confirmation of STN sensory motor area and determination of the optimal channel of implantation. Application of multiple electrophysiological recording electrodes provides a premise for the precise electrode placement in STN DBS surgeries.

Objective:To explore the correlation among plasma levels of fibrinogen (Fg) ,D-dimer (DD) and antithrombin III (ATIII ) and carotid atherosclerosis (CAS) in AMI patients .Methods:A total of 147 AMI patients treated in our de‐partment from Jan 2012 to Dec 2014 were enrolled as AMI group ,another 120 patients without myocardial infarction (MI) were treated as control group .According to ACS severity ,AMI group was further divided into normal group (n=22) ,mild group (n=30) ,moderate group (n=40) and severe group (n=55) .Plasma levels of Fg ,DD and ATIII ,and carotid inti‐ma-media thickness (IMT) were measured and compared among all groups .Results:Compared with control group ,there were significant rise in plasma levels of Fg [ (3.12 ± 0.87) g/L vs .(5.01 ± 1.38) g/L] ,DD [ (317 ± 50)μg/L vs .(1530 ± 218)μg/L] and carotid IMT [(0.86 ± 0.41) mm vs .(1.12 ± 0.29) mm] ,and significant reduction in plasma AT Ⅲ level [ (87 ± 18)% vs .(76 ± 19)% ] in AMI group , P<0.01 all. Compared with normal group ,there were significant rise in plasma levels of Fg and DD ,and significant reduction in plasma ATIII level in moderate group and severe group , P<0.05 or <0.01. Spearman correlation analysis indicated that plasma Fg and DD levels were significant positively correlated with CAS severity (r=0.426 ,0.535 ,P<0.01 both) ,ATIII level was significant inversely correlated with CAS severity in AMI patients ,(r= -0.438 ,P=0.005) .Multi-factor Logistic regression analysis indicated that plasma Fg and DD levels were independent risk factors for MI (OR=2.836 ,2.231 , P<0.01 both) ,and plasma ATIII level was independent protective factor for MI (OR=0.899 , P=0.014 ) .Conclusion:Plasma Fg and DD levels are independent risk factors for MI and plasma ATIII level is independent protective factor for MI .

Objective　To study the effect of minielctrocholecystectomy(MEC) for gallbladder stone. Methods　The clinical data of 4,200 cases(1991-2000) undergoing MEC were analysed restrospectively; the results of different operotors for the MEC were compared. Results　All 4,200 cases were cured. Of them, 41 cases(0.98%) had serious complications, including intraoperative bleeding in 4 cases(0.09%), biliary tract injury in 18(0.43%); stress ulcer in 8(0.19%), and residual stones of biliary tract in 11(0.26%). Conclusions　MEC has the following advantages: less trauma, short operation time, fast postoperative recovery and lower expense. The different operotors on MEC have distinguish difference in the results. It is important to preven the complications of MEC.

Based on a correct understanding of the related concepts and system of the evaluation of human resources for military medical sciences ( EHRMMS), this thesis established a three-dimension model of EHRMMS that is composed of the evaluation goal, evaluation subject and evaluation object, and analyzed the factors that affect the crucial parameters in the model.We also analyzed the features and regularity of the evaluation model, and tentatively explored the application of the model.

OJECTIVE To investigate the preventive effect of Fengliao extract on ulcerative colitis of mice. METHODS Using the intestinal propulsion rate experiment and senna induced diarrhea model , the intestinal propulsion rate, diarrhea rate and index of diarrhea were observed. Mice were randomly divided into normal group,model group,mesalazine hydrochloride group and Fengliao extract 11.7, 23.4 and 46.8 g · kg-1 group. The mouse colitis model was induced by 4% dextran sulfate sodium. The mice were administraed once daily for 7 d while the disease activity index(DAI)score was calculated and the activity of tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α),interleukin-1β(IL-1β), myeloperoxidase(MPO) and content of malondialdehyde(MDA) and nitric monoxide (NO) in colon tissue were determined. RESULTS Fengliao extract 46.8 g · kg-1 inhibited the intestinal propulsion rate(P<0.05),reduced the frequency of diarrhea and the diarrhea index(P<0.05). Results of colitis showed that the body mass of mice in the model group was significantly decreased but the DAI score increased compared with normal group(P<0.05). The activity of MPO and the contents of IL-1β,TNF-α,MDA and NO in colon mucosa were increased(P<0.01). Compared with the model group,Fengliao extract 46.8 g·kg-1 decreased the DAI score(P<0.05)while Fengliao extract 46.8 and 23.4 g · kg-1 reduced MPO activity in colonic mucosa and content of IL-1β,TNF-α,MDA and NO in colonic homogenate(P<0.05). CONCLUSION Fengliao extract can significantly improve the DSS induced colitis in mice,which is probably associated with its antispasmodic and anti-diarrheal effect as well as the reduced release of inflammatory mediators and antioxidants.

Objective To investigate the incidence of autoimmune and nonautoimmune thyroid diseases in patients with breast cancer.Methods Clinical and ultrasound evaluation of thyroid gland,detection of serum thyroid hormone and related antibodies,and fine-needle aspiration of thyroid gland were performed in 100 breast cancer patients and 100 control individuals during the period from 2004 to 2008.Results The mean values of anti-thyroid peroxidase antibodies were significantly higher in breast cancer patients than that in control individuals [(104.56±21.54) U/ml vs (22.16±4.65) U/ml,(P=0.030)].The incidence rates of autoimmune and nonautoimmune thyroid diseases were higher in breast cancer patients than that in control individuals[38 ％ (38/100) vs 17 ％ (17/100),P=0.0009,26 ％ (26/100) vs 9 ％ (9/100),P =0.0016,respectively].Conclusion The results indicate an increased incidence of autoimmune and nonautoimmune thyroid diseases in breast cancer patients.

AIM: To study the mostly pharmacological effects of Kangjun Xiaoyan Tablets (Flos Lonicerae, Radix Stemonae, Radix et Rhizonia Rhei, etc.) METHODS: The pharmacological functions of KJXYT were observed by measuring its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and immune etc. RESULTS: KJXYT had remarkably protected the mice from the infection with streptococcus pneumococcus and staphylococcus aureus; had dramatic anti-inflammatory effect on the inhibited feet edema of rat induced by egg white and the ear edema of mice induced by dimethylbenzene; and had obvious effect on fever of rats caused by dried yeast; besides, and strengthened the phagocytosis of mice’s reticuloendothelial system. Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of the suture anchor in the treatment of acute closed distal achilles tendon rupture. Methods A retrospective review of clinical data in 25 patients with acute achilles tendon rupture was performed in the department of orthopedic trauma of Tianjin Hospital between October 2012 to January 2014. The operation was performed by standard approach, with the suture anchors to reconstruct the achilles tendon insertion, and the Krachow technique was used to suture the achilles tendon. All patients were followed up for 19~35 months. The situation of the wound healing, heel pain, and achilles tendon re-rupture were observed and analyzed. According to the passive range of motion of the bilateral ankle joint, the achilles tendon total rupture score (ATRS), the American orthopaedic foot and ankle society (AOFAS) score and functional recovery were assessed one year after operation. Results The operation was successfully completed in this group. The operation time was 25-35 min, the average time was (30.4 ± 4.8) min. No major vascular and nerve injury occurred in the operation. All patients were followed up. The wound healed well. No infection and skin necrosis, no heel pain and achilles tendon re-rupture were found during follow-up. There was no significant difference in mean passive plantar flexion between injured ankles and uninjured ankles one year after operation (44.36° ± 3.33° vs. 46.40°±4.53°, P>0.05). But mean passive dorsiflexion was lower in injured ankles than that of uninjured ankles (16.88°± 4.10° vs. 20.12°±3.21°,P<0.05). The mean ATRS score was 88.7±6.1 (range 79-97), and the mean AOFAS score was 92.4± 5.6 (range 76-100) at first postoperative year. According to the AOFAS scale, the results were excellent in 20 cases and good in 5 cases. Conclusion It was successful to repair the acute closed distal achilles tendon injuries with the suture anchors.
