China Biotechnology 2006;0(02):-
The recombinant protein drug usually has a short half-life after intravenous (IV) or subcutaneous (SC) administration. The methods of prolonging the half-life of recombinant protein drug in common use are mainly based on three principles: 1 Amplifying the molecule weight of protein drug; 2 Making use of drug balance in the blood; 3 Reducing Immunogenicity. Three methods were focused on: Analog construction, PEGylation and Albumin fusion technology. The characteristics, half-life and immunogenicity problem of their products in the market and under development are summarized.

Objective To investigate CT features of subconjunctival fat prolapse and choristoma. Methods Thirty-eight patients, including 18 with subconjunctival fat prolapse and 20 with choristoma, were retrospectively analyzed. Transverse plain CT scan was performed in all the patients, and then coronal plane images was reconstructed at CT workstation. Results CT features of subconjunctival fat prolapse revealed a crescent-shaped or horn-shaped fat density mass continuous with the orbital fat in the superior temporal quadrant of the orbit. CT features of choristoma revealed a crescent-shaped or triangle fat density mass incontinuous with the orbital fat in the temporal side. Conclusion Subconjunctival fat prolapse typically occurs in bilateral superior temporal quadrant of the orbit in elderly males. Subconjunctival choristoma occurs in the unilateral temporal side in adolescent. CT is helpful to distinguish subconjunctival fat prolapse and choristoma.

Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2013;35(8):598-602
Objective To study the effects of exercise on blood pressure (BP) and aorta gaseous molecules of spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR),so as to explore the role of gaseous molecules in exercise-induced changes of hypertension. Methods Sixteen male SHR were randomly divided into the SHR control (SC) group and SHR training (ST) group.Eight healthy male Wistar rats were used as normal control (WC) group. All the rats were fed normal foodstuff. The ST group was subject to 90-minute moderate swimming exercise once daily,6 times a week, for a total of 8 weeks, while the SC and WC groups were give no special intervention. The blood pressure and the contents of aorta NO,CO and H2S were examined before and at the end of the 4th,5th and 8th weeks of the exercise. Results After 8-week,a within-group comparison showed that the systolic BP (SBP) and diastolic BP (DBP) was significantly elevated in SC group as compared with the baseline BP[(198.07 ± 7.27) vs (159.91 ±6.48) mmHgin SBP,(132.75 ±11.93) vs (103.75 ±3.69) mmHg in BBP](P<0.05),while that the BP remained without significant changes in the ST group [(164.85 ± 3.73) mmHg for SBP and (103.20 ± 7.63)mmHg for DBP] after 8-week of exercise.A between-group comparison showed that BP values measured at the end of 4th,5th and 8th weeks post-exercise in the ST group were significantly lower than those in the SC group (P < 0.05).It was also shown that,at the end of 8th week post-intervention,the levels of aorta NOS,NO,HO,CO,CSE and H2 S of SC group was significantly lower than those of the WC group (P < 0.05),and the levels of NOS,HO,CSE in the ST group were significantly lower than those in the WC group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Moderate exercise can help relieve hypertension in SHR,and the gaseous molecules might synergistically mediate the effect of exercise in lowering the BP.

Chinese Journal of Medical Ultrasound (Electronic Edition) 2014;(1):44-47
Objective To summarize the echocardiographic characteristics and clinical signiifcance of prenatal diagnosis of coronary artery ifstula (CAF). Methods Images and follow-up results of ifve fetuses with CAF diagnosed by fetal echocardiography between January, 2011 and December, 2012 in our department were reviewed. Results Echocardiographic characteristics of CAF were a dilated coronary artery in the four chamber view and the left ventricular outlfow tract view. Track the course of the dilated coronary artery can conifrm the oriifce of the ifstula. Among the ifve cases, the oriifce of the ifstula included the aortic root of left ventricular outlfow tract, right atrium side of interatrial septum, the entrance of superior vena cava to right atrium, right ventricular apex and right ventricle cone. The colour Doppler lfow imaging showed turbulence in the dilated coronary artery. The spectral Doppler with the sampling gate in coronary artery showed the characteristic bidirectional lfow pattern. One case was associated with other complex intracardiac abnormalities and one case with persistent left superior vena cava. Among the ifve cases of CAF diagnosed by fetal echocardiography, one case was missed and four cases were conifrmed by postnatal echocardiography. Conclusion Coronary artery ifstula has special fetal echocardiographic characteristics. The fetal echocardiography plays an important role in early detection, diagnosis and treatment of CAF.

Journal of Endocrine Surgery 2014;(4):301-305
Objective To explore the dynamic variation rule of drainage fluid parathyroid hormone ( dPTH) , serum parathyroid hormone ( PTH) and serum calcium after thyroidectomy .According to the variation rule, the survival , function and prognosis of the parathyroid which retained at the original place can be predicted . Methods From Apr.2012 to Aug.2012, 90 patients who underwent thyroidectomy in Thyroid Surgery Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University were chosen as the research object .All of the objects'operations were performed by the same surgeon team and they were divided into four groups according to different surgical methods ( group A:bilateral thyroidectomy group , group B:bilateral thyroidectomy and central neck dis-section group , group C: bilateral thyroidectomy and functional neck dissection group , and group D: unilateral thyroidectomy group ) .Parathyroid retention situation during operation and the occurrence of hypocalcaemia after operation were recorded .Blood samples were taken between 7am and 8am in the 4 consecutive days after opera-tion to detect serum calcium and serum parathyroid hormone .All of the 90 patients had the drainage tube and their drainage fluid were taken for testing dPTH .The levels of serum calcium , PTH and dPTH were analyzed by statistical analysis of repetitive measure analysis of variance ( ANOVA) .Results The mean postoperative maxi-mum serum calcium was in group D and the minimum was in group C .There was no obvious difference in terms of serum calcium between group A and group B .However , the serum calcium showed an upward trend in each group. The mean postoperative maximum PTH was in group D and the difference has statistical significance com -pared to the other 3 surgical methods. The minimum was in group B and group C .However, it showed an upward trend with time in each group .The difference of dPTH in each group had no statistical significance and it showed a downward trend in all the 4 groups.Low serum calcium and hypocalcaemia occurred to 22 cases and 13 cases respectively after operation .The low serum calcium cases in each group were 12, 3, 4 and 2 respectively and hy-pocalcaemia cases in each group were 4, 3, 1 and 1 respectively. Conclusions By monitoring dPTH, PTH and serum calcium after thyroidectomy , the survival and function of parathyroid retained at the original place can be e-valuated comprehensively .Furthermore, it also helps to estimate prognosis .dPTH at a high level after operation is a direct evidence that parathyroid retained at the original place survives .Low PTH and high dPTH after thyroid-ectomy illustrates the operation just affects the way that PTH secreted into blood and the parathyroid retained at the original place can still secrete large amount of PTH .PTH will return to normal gradually with reconstruction and healing of microcirculation around parathyroid .Persistent low serum PTH after operation , low dPTH after 24 hours and the early advent of hypocalcaemia suggest the parathyroid retained at the original place was injured seri -ously and its blood supply was damaged obviously and more than one parathyroid were affected .Secretion function of parathyroid will remarkably decrease .
