Objective:To investigate if injury-related myofibroblast induction could occur in bronchial epithelial cells and the role of TGF-?_1(rhTGF-?_1) in epithelial-myofibroblast transdifferentiation. Methods:Cultured bronchial epithelial cells, 16HBE-14o, were exposed to poly-L-arginine(PLA). Using a immunohistochemical method, ?-smooth muscle actin (?-SMA) expression was detected in those cells after being treated with PLA . Relative activity of chloramphenicol acetyltransferase(CAT) was assessed in 16HBE-14o cells, which were transiently transfected with VSMP8 plasmid containing ?-SMA promoter linked to CAT gene, at different time points after rhTGF-?_1(10 ?g/L) treatment. Results:①?-SMA positive, spindle-shaped cells emerged among the regenerated 16HBE-14o epithelial cells following damage. The number of ?-SMA positive 16HBE-14o cells increased and cell repair was delayed under rhTGF-?_1 stimulation.② CAT activity increased significantly in VSMP8 plasmid transfected 16HBE-14o cells 24 h after TGF-?_1 stimulation. OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for rational use of narcotics drugs in the clinic. METHODS:A total of 5 841 prescriptions of narcotic drugs in our hospital from Jan. 2012 to Dec. 2013 were selected as subjects. The utilization of drugs was an-alyzed statistically using DDDs,DDC and DUI as index. The situation of pharmacists prescriptions dispensing was analyzed with missing rate of unqualified prescriptions as an indicator. RESULTS:7 narcotics drugs DUI≤1.00 in 2012. 9 narcotics drugs DUIs≤1.00 in 2013. The highest missing rate of unqualified prescriptions was 9.33% in the inpatient pharmacy in 2013. The amount and DDDs of Morphine hydrochloride injection,Morphine sulfate sustained-release tablet and Oxycodone sustained-release tablet all in-creased in 2013,compared to in 2012;DUI of all morphine preparation were >1.00. DUI of Codeine phosphate tablet and Bucin-nazine tablet were decreased from 1.64 and 1.11 in 2012 to 1.02 and 0.74 in 2013,tending to be reasonable. The amount and DDDs of Sulfentanyl injection,Remifentanil injection and Fentanyl patch all in 2013,compared to in 2012. CONCLUSIONS:The utilization of narcotics drugs in our hospital basically tend to be rational, but still many deficiencies exist. We should strengthen in-tervention and management on the the utilization of narcotic drugs further.

Objective To investigate the influence of fixation of both lower limbs with negative pressure vacuum cushion and fixation of both ankles with self-made foam mat on setup errors in radiotherapy for rectal cancer. Methods A total of 12 patients with rectal cancer were enrolled in 2014 and randomly divided into group A (using negative pressure vacuum cushion) and group B (using self-made foam mat).An offline registration analysis was performed for the images of 108 times (A,B group of 54 times) of kilovoltage cone-beam CT (CBCT) before and after treatment.Grey scale translation error registration was used, and the results of registration were analyzed. The setup errors in x-axis (left-right direction),y-axis (cranial-caudal direction),and z-axis (anterior-posterior direction) were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the absolute setup error in the y-axis between the two groups (2.13±0.64 mm vs.2.61±1.17 mm,P=0.399),while group A showed significantly lower absolute setup errors in the x-axis and z-axis than group B (x-axis:1.51±0.28 mm vs.2.70±1.05 mm,P=0.039;with an error rate of 7.41% vs.42.59%;z-axis:1.10±0.29 mm vs.2.37±0.71 mm,P=0.002;with an error rate of 1.85% vs.35.19%).Conclusions In the radiotherapy positioning for rectal cancer, fixation of both lower limbs with negative pressure vacuum cushion effectively avoids the translation and rotation of both lower limbs, reduces absolute setup errors, and has higher accuracy than fixation of both ankles with self-made foam mat.
