Objective To investigate the effect of pseudolaric acid B(PLAB) on growth of human gastric carcinoma cells in vitro.Methods The expression of PPAR? was detected by RT-PCR;the effect of PLAB on cell growth was tested by MTT;Hoechst33342/PI and DNA gel electrolysis were employed to examine apoptosis;cell cycle was checked by flow cytometry.Results When treated with 0.1～10 ?mmol/L PLAB for 72,the proliferation of MGC803 cells was significantly inhibited.The proportion of MGC803 cells at G2 phase was significantly increased when treated with 10 ?mmol/L PLAB after 48 h,and showed an apparent G2 phase arrest.After treatement with PLAB for 72,typical apoptotic changes were observed.The expression of PPAR? was at a low level in MGC803 cells and up-regulated when treated with 10 ?mmol/L PLAB for 48 h(P

Objective To understand the psychological health status of the middle and primary school students,and to provide some advice of their mental health care.Methods In 11 611 middle and primary school students in 18 schools in Maojian area of Shiyan city,the students,teachers and parents at 5 schods were investigated a randomely,targets were examined by Achenbach Child Behavior Checklist(CBCL),Pupil Rating Scale Revised Screening for Learning(PRS),Conner's Parent Symptom Questionnaire(PSQ)and Conner's Teacher Rating Scale(TRS)and self-established questionnaires for general information.Results The investigation demonstrated:89.29% of students possessed very promising dreams and sublime pursuits,and had correct outlook on life and values;10.71% of students had comparatively severe psychological problems.The major problems appeared to be indefinite purpose of study,shorted of mental endurance and severe impulsivetrend.Moreover,an-xiety,emotion instability and solitary trend caused indifference,sheepish ness and difficulty in their communication.Conclusion Schools,families and society pay close attention to students,mental health and help the youngsters develop in a healthily psychdogical way.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and toxicity of neoadjuvant chemotherapy of modified FOLFOX7 regimen in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer. Methods The clinical data of 30 patients with advanced gastric cancer who had been admitted to Beijing Friendship Hospital from June 2005 to January 2009 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients received modified FOLFOX7 regimen [oxaliplatin (100 mg/m~2) + fluorouracil (2400 mg/m~2) + calcium folinate (400 mg/m~2)] for 2-4 courses before operation. The efficacy and toxicity of the modified FOLFOX7 were evaluated before and after the operation. All data were analyzed via chi-square test. Results The pre-and postoperative downstaging rates were 27% (8/30) and 47% (14/30), respectively. The total effective rate of modified FOLFOX7 regimen was 43% (13/30). Complete remission was observed in 1 patient. The toxicity was mild. Radical resection was accomplished in 28 patients (93%). There was no statistical difference between the 2 criteria in evaluating the efficacy of modified FOLFOX7 regimen (χ~2= 2.584, P>0.05). Conclusion Modified FOLFOX7 regimen is effective and well-tolerable for patients with advanced gastric cancer.

Object To develop a method for pharmacokinetics detection of chemical component in healthy volunteers' plasma administrated with Suxiao Jiuxin Wan, to provide the clinical experimental evidences for therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) and the hypothesis of pharmacokinetics of traditional Chinese syndrome and recipe. Methods A GC FID method was established for rapid determination of borneol, tetramethyl pyrazine (TMP) content in healthy volunteers' plasma. After obtaining the blood sample at different time, the plasma concentration of borneol, TMP was detected, respectively. The data were processed with the software 3P97 to calculate the pharmacokinetics parameters. Results A good linear relationship of borneol, TMP existed in the plasma of healthy persons in the range of 20-420 ng/mL. Whole blood concentration time course of borneol and TMP in the group administrated with Suxiao Jiuxin Wan was fitted to be a one compartment model. Borneol and TMP in healthy persons were absorbed, distributed and excreted rapidly. Conclusion The GC FID method is sensitive, reliable and rapid, it can be used in pharmacokinetics study of borneol and TMP in vivo.

Objectlve To assess the clinical effects and safety of intravitreal injection of conbercept and macular photocoagulation for non-ischemic macular edema secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO).Methods A total of 50 patients (50 eyes) with non-ischemic macular edema following BRVO were retrospectively analyzed.Patients were divided into 2 groups:ICI group (26 eyes) received intravitreal injection of conbercept,laser group (24 eyes) received standard-of-care grid laser for macular edema.The best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and central macular thickness (CMT) were observed before and 1 week,1 month,2 months and 3 months after treatment.Then,the changes in pre-treatment and post-treatment were compared,and the related complications were recorded.Results The difference of BCVA before treatment was not significant between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).BCVA at 1 week,1 month,2 months and 3 months after treatment in two groups were all improved,the differences were statistically significant compared with before treatment (all P ＜ 0.05),and the differences were statistically significant between two groups after treatment (all P ＜0.05).At 3 months after treatment,BCVA of 18 patients (69.23％) in ICI group and 8 patients (33.33％) in ICI group improved 2 lines.The difference of CMT before treatment was not significant between two groups (P ＞ 0.05),CMT at 1 week,1 month,2 months and 3 months after treatment in two groups were all decreased,the differences were statistically significant compared with before treatment (all P ＜ 0.05),and the differences were statistically significant between two groups after treatment (all P ＜0.05).13 eyes received repeat intravitreal injection in ICI group,including 2 eyes at 1 month,7 eyes at 2 months with CMT ＞250 μm,and 3 eyes at 3 months.No severe side effect related with drug and intravitreal injection occurred in the two groups.Conclusion Mean BCVA change and CMT change are significantly greater in the intravitreal injection of conbercept than the standard-of-care grid laser group for the macuiar edema secondary to non-ischemic BRVO.

Objective To investigate the protective effect and therapeutic window of DGMI on ischemic stroke in rats,and to explore the related mechanism.Method The rats were subjected to middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) for 90 min followed by 72 h of reperfusion.DGMI (i.p.,1.25,2.5,5.0,and 10.0 mg/kg,Bid) was administered at 1 h after the onset of ischemia.Neurological score was evaluated after 24 and 72 h of reperfusion rcspectively.In fact volume,cerebral water content,oxidative stress markers,and IL-1β were evaluated after 72 h of reperfusion.The rats were treated with DGMI 5.0 mg/kg 0.5 h before reperfusion or 1 h,2 h,3 h,and 6 h after reperfusion to determined therapeutic window.Result Treatment with DGMI (2.5,5.0 mg/kg) significantly ameliorated neurological deficit,infarct volume and cerebral water content after cerebral ischemia reperfusion.DGMI also reduced the content of malonaldehyde (MDA),IL-1β,down-regulated the activities of creatine kinase (CK),lacticdehydrogenase (LDH),and up-regulated the activities of superoxide dISmutase (SOD).Treatment with DGMI 5.0 mg/kg exhibited protective effects when administered at all time points except for 6 h after reperfusion.Conclusion DGMI plays a certain protective role in ischemic stroke of rats,and the effect may be related to the improvement on the antioxidant capacity of brain tissue and the inhibition of overproduction of inflammatory cytokine.Moreover,the therapeutic window of DGMI isless than 6 h after reperfusion.
