Objective To investigate the efficacy of minimally invasive treatment by combination of external fixation with limited internal fixation for unstable distal radius fractures. Methods From September 2003 to September 2007,43 patients with unstable distal radius fractures were treated with external fixation combined with Kirschner wire fixation. According to AO classification, there were 10 cases of C1,21 cases of C2,and 12 cases of C3. Two external fixation clamp stand screws were inserted into the dorsal radius in operation, then external clamp stand was fixed when manipulative reduction were performed after C-arm perspective. The broken bones were sledged by Kirschner wire when articular facet and bone block were not peaceful and could not achieve reduction by traction. When the bone block was instable,a Kirschner wire fixation was needed. Bone graft through a limited incision were performed for bone defect if necessary. Results All of the 43 cases achieved anatomical reduction after the operation. The mean operaton time was 62.4 min (range from 43 to 121 min). And the mean intraoperative blood loss was 15.3 ml (ranged from 6 to 30 ml). The patients were discharged from hospital in 3 to 14 days with a mean of 5.5 days. After being discharged, they were followed up for 6 to 24 months (mean,12 months),during which,re-examination showed bone union and improved articular activities in all the cases. According to the Dienst scale system,30 patients achieved excellent,8 were good, and 5 were fair. The rate of excellent and good results was 88.4% (38/43). Conclusion External fixation combined with limited internal fixation is a simple, reliable and effective method for treatment of the unstable distal radius fractures.

Clinical Medicine of China 2010;26(9):990-992
Objective To investigate the efficiency of meropenem in treating secondary peritonitis in newborn infant. Methods Twenty-four newborn infants with secondary peritonitis were treated by meropenem from January 2006 to June 2009 in Tianjin Childrens Hospital. The therapeutic effects were evaluated in the 24 cases. Results Twenty-one patients revealed positive of germiculture and 30 germ strains were isolated from the culture. After the treatment with meropenem, complete cure were observed in 21 newborns. One case gave up treatment, and the other two died. Overall bacterial clearance rate was 86. 7%. Both the clinical cure rate and the total cure rate were 87.5%. The clinical effect consisted with bacteriological effect. Conclusions Meropenem is effective and safe in the treatment of secondary peritonitis in newborn infant.

Objective To assess the current situation and quality of clinical randomized controlled trials(RCTs) designed for accessing the treatment of depressive neurosis with acupuncture and moxibustion. Methods Relative clinical research literatures published from year 1980 to 2008 were collected, and composed into "evaluation to all literature of acupuncture and moxibustion treating depressive neurosis message table", according to the clinical epidemic disease and EBM. The quality evaluation on these trails were performed. Results There were altogether 15 articles included in this study. Among them, 5 articles used the correct randomized controlled trials (33.3%), 10 articles used the diagnostic criteria (66.6%), 10 articles used excluded criteria (66.6%), 12 articles used the therapeutic evaluation criteria (80%), 4 articles used blind treals (26.7%), 5 articles reported quit cases (33.3%), and 9 articles reported the adopted statistical methods (60%)4 articles Conclusion The quality of RCT of acupuncture and moxibustion for depressive neurosis needs to be improved.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(19):-
Objective To detect the change of discharge phase of guinea pig hippocampal CA1 pyramidal cells during visual discriminative task with an effective and convenient program we designed. Methods Five guinea pigs were performed by extracellular single unit recording in vivo when they were performing visual discriminative task. Discharge signals of individual pyramidal cells were extracted from different frequency signals by wavelet transform (WT), which made it feasible to calculate discharge phase of pyramidal cells in terms of time correlation between discharge and ? rhythm. Results The discharge phase of CA1 pyramidal cells in the 1 to 5s interval before visual discriminative task (172??1.8?) was obviously earlier than that in the 6 to 10s interval after visual discriminative task (189??3.7?) ( P0.01). Conclusion The program we designed is capable of detecting discharge phase of pyramidal cells. Regular shift of discharge phase of hippocampal CA1 pyramidal cells emerges before and after performing visual discriminative task.

The article summarized relevant theories and successful practical experience about medical resource integration, analyzed the background of regional medical-trust in Shanghai, and discussed three different model of regional medical-trust building, and their own advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore it discussed the main framework of regional medical-trust pilot reform, including administrative and operational model, insurance-payment model and visiting-doctor model. Then, it introduced the reform strategies of regional medical-trust pilot and present progress.

Aim To investigate the proliferation of HSCs stimulated by exogenous TGF-β1 (transforming growth factor betal),observe the effect of TFB(total flavonoids of Bidens Bipinnata L.)on smad2/7,typeⅠcollagen mRNA and protein expression of HSCs and study the protective effect and molecular mechanism of TFB on hepatic fibrosis. Methods HSCs were isolated with collagenase Ⅳ perfusion in situ and density gradient centrifugation. The effect of TFB on cell proliferation was observed by MTT colormetric assay. The auto-secretion of TGF-β1 and synthesis of type Ⅰ collagen were measured by enzyme-linked immuneadsordent assay (ELISA).Moreover, the expression of smad2/7, typeⅠcollagen mRNA and protein was measured by semi-quantitative RT-PCR and Western blot methods respectively. Results TFB could markedly inhibit the proliferation of HSCs of liver fibrosis rats stimulated by TGF-β1 and production of TGF-β1 and type Ⅰ collagen. In addition,TFB treatment could significantly down-regulate smad2 and type Ⅰ collagen mRNA expression and up-regulated smad7 mRNA expression of HSCs Smad2 protein expression of HSCs stimulated by TGF-β1 was also down-regulated by TFB.Conclusion TFB has the protective effect against hepatic fibrosis by inhibiting the activation of TGF-β1 signaling pathway and suppressing the HSC proliferation.

Objective To observe the way of vascularization of acellular nerves and evaluate the enhanced vascularization of using COMP-Ang-1 into acellular nerve on bridging sciatic nerve gaps by radiography. Methods From March,2013 to June,2014,acellular nerves were harvested by chemical extraction.Thirty-six female rats weighing 200-250 g were randomly divided into 2 groups:18 animals with 1 cm long sciatic nerve lesions were repaired by nerve grafting (control group),18 animals with 1 cm long sciatic nerve lesions were repaired by nerve grafting and COMP-Ang-1 were administrated after surgery.Grafts were harvested after perfusion of lead oxide (carotid artery) on day 7,day 14 and day 21 postoperatively.Radiography was performed to capture the two dimensional image. The rules of vascularization of acellular nerve and the enhanced effects of COMP-Ang-1 on vascularization were evaluated. Results The density of vessels in COMP-Ang-1 group were higher than control group after 7 days (2701.60 ± 318.93 vs.925.40 ± 106.22,P =0.030),14 days (3309.21 ± 381.31 vs.2832.70 ± 189.23,P =0.210) and 21 days (4787.33 ± 251.09 vs.3469.36 ± 232.10,P =0.030) postoperatively; the area of vessels in COMP-Ang-1 group were higher than control group after 7 days (9231.03 ± 581.91 μm2 vs.4839.01 ± 101.01 μm2,P =0.043) and 14 days (15561.13 ± 697.73 vs.6811.07 ± 250.05,P =0.049) postoperatively. Conclusion COMP-Ang-1 can enhance the vascularization of acellular nerves fairly.
