1.Exploration of longitudinal clinical practice for professional degree postgraduate students in pediatric surgery
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2015;(3):243-244,245
For professional degree graduate students, we improved the clinical teaching of pe-diatric surgery, on the basis of traditional forms of practice teaching, combining application of longitu-dinal cross major pediatric surgical practice. We had the student tracking patients from outpatient ser-vice and by going through the process of after examination, treatment, follow-up, and summarizing. students learnt all characteristics of the disease, expended their knowledge and grasped the correct, novel clinical thinking of diagnosis and treatment. The implementation of these measures obtained sat-isfactory teaching effect.

An evaluation scale of medical services quality was developed on the basis of "patients' experience". The questionnaires were developed by, among others, searching relevant literature, collecting well-established assessment scales, measuring patients' experience and satisfaction, brain-storming, literature analysis. Delphi method was adopted for expert consultation. Scale items were screened and revised. The key indexes were converted. Field surveys were conducted for testing the reliability and validity of the scale. Our modified evaluation scale for measuring medical services quality based on "patients' experience" included 6 dimensions (tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and continuity), and 50 items. The novel scale based on "patients' experience" may better serve the purpose of assessing medical services quality.

Objective To evaluate the digital tomosynthesis in the diagnosis of occult bone fracture. Methods Both DR and DTS were performed in 135 cases with traumatic-induced pain. All the cases were suspected of bone fractures but with no abnormal findings in DR images. Two radiologists reviewed all the images and diagnosed in consensus. All cases were followed up and the imaging diagnoses were reviewed. Results Bone fractures or joint dislocations of 61 cases were shown in DTS images but not in DR images, including atlanto-axial fracture and subluxation in 7 cases, articular fracture of limbs in 20 cases, bone fractures of wrist, hand and foot in 11 cases, fractures of cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebra in 7 cases, fracture of sacrococcyx in 8 cases, fracture of nasal bone in 4 cases, fractures of Sternum ,rib ,orbit and mandible in 1 case. Thirty-four cases with bone fractures were determined by using DTS in suspected cases and 17 cases were denied. Both DR and DTS images showed normal findings in 23 cases. Imaging diagnoses of all cases were consistent with the results of follow up. Conclusion DTS can depict bone fractures especially in the deep and complex bony structures, which may improve the diagnostic accuracy of bone fracture.

Objection To explore the oxidative damage of respiratory system in rats exposed to carbon nanotubes(CNTs) . Methods Twelve Wistar rats were randomly divided into two groups(the treated group and the control group) and exposed to CNTs through intratracheal instillation at the dose of 22.5 mg/kg(calculated with CNTs) once a day for 15 days, then the rats were sacrificed, the biochemicaly indexes in serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BLAF) were measured. Results The results showed that CNTs could cause decrease of body weight gain, even after three days of stoping exposure to CNTs. Compared with the control group, the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC) in serum and BLAF of exposed rats decreased, the level of malondialdehyde(MDA) in serum and BLAF increased significantly. Conclusion CNTs exposure can induce the decrease of the antioxidant capacity and oxidative damage of respiratory system in rats.

[Objective]To explore the incidence, causes, training courses at high risk and location of the body of training injury in a special force corps, provide evidence for effective prevention of the injury.[Method]A questionnaire on training injuries and relative situations, and review of medical records from Nov 2005 to Oct 2006 were performed in 823 soldiers and officers in a special force corps at Nov 2006. Data were input into computers after quantization, and descriptive analysis was conducted with SPSS 13.0 software. [Result]Of 823 soldiers and officers, 738 (89.67%) experienced one or more injuries in that year, 525 (63.79%) were affected in normal training, 221 (26.85%) lost more than one training day due to the injuries. Confirmed with the medical records, 213 (25.90%) lost more than one training day due to injuries. A total of 1696 injuries occurred in 823 soldiers and offices in that year, of them, 1263 injuries interfered with normal training. Injury rate was 12.78 per 100 per month. 24.12% of injuries were due to over-exertion, 15.86% due to accident and 13.33% due to environmental field. Injury occurred mainly in runing related training courses including 5km running (22.17%) and 400m obstacle running (20.87%), followed by weight lifting (9.67%). The most frequent site of injury was the lower extremities, accounted for 65.74 % of the inj urie s including the foot ( 18.75 %),the ankle (13.50%), the leg (13.56%) and the knee (14.39%), followed by low back (14.21%). [Conclusion]Persistent over-exertion basic training, the courses at high risk of injury, should be improved in focus. Lower extremities and low back, the most frequent locations of injury, should be taken as key points of prevention and treatment of training injury.

Chinese Medical Ethics 1996;0(01):-
Objective:A combined therapy of Aidi and Kanglaite injection was employed to enhance the living quality of patients with tumors.Method: 50ml Aidi was added into 5% glucose 500ml,together with100 to 200 ml Kanglaite was injected per day,a medical treatment course lasts for 15 to 20 days, and the duration includes 1 to 3 courses.Result: 25% of all patients treated show a complete cure of tumor pain,43.8% of all patients show relief to some extent, with a total efficiency of 68.8%,and 72.8% of all treatment group show an increase in living quality. Conclusion: The combined therapy together with humanistic nursing care results in a significant effect in treating patients with terminal tumors.

Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2014;(1):99-100,105
Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of adjusting the doses of diuretics of different time in the treat-ment of advanced schistosomiasis ascites. Methods A total of 80 advanced schistosomiasis patients with ascites were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group(40 cases each). The patients in the observation group received spironolac-tone and furosemide, and the first doses were 100 mg/d and 40 mg/d,respectively. If the efficacy was poor, according to the first doses of the standard increments once every four days, the doses gradually increased to the maximum doses of spironolactone 400 mg/d and furosemide 160 mg/d,respectively. The patients in the control group received spironolactone and furosemide, and the first doses were the same as those of the observation group. If the efficacy was poor, according to the first doses of the standard in-crements once every seven days, the doses gradually increased to the maximum doses as those of the observation group. Other con-ventional treatments were the same in both groups. Results In both groups, the reductions of the total amount of the weight were (5.62±1.28)kg and(5.42±1.37)kg respectively;the time of efficacy beginning was(3.84±2.36)days and(4.65±2.86)days re-spectively;the average daily amounts of weight loss were(0.41 ± 0.16)kg and(0.35 ± 0.11)kg respectively;the efficient rates were 95%and 92.5%respectively;and there were no significant differences between the two group(all P>0.05). However, the time of reduction from moderate ascites to mild ascites was(10.70±3.01)days(6-20 days)in the observation group and the time was(14.75±5.62)days(7-30 days)in the control group(u=3.876,P<0.01). Conclusion The therapy of diuretic doses ad-justed by a four-day cycle is more useful for advanced schistosomiasis patients with ascites.
