Journal of Chinese Physician 2002;0(S1):-
Objective To explore a novel improved method of simplified fluid-supplement therapy during the diuresis stage after renal transplantation.Method We adopted an improved fluid-supplement therapy to treat 26 postoperative patients of heterologous kidney transplantation after returning Liger's liquid, 500ml of 5% glucose-salt liquid, and 500ml liger's Compound back to linical wards by means of replenishing 500ml of sodium lactate sodium chloride injection in turn for fluid supplement. In addition, the patients were given originally 10~20ml of 10% calcium glubionate within 12 hours after their operations. Results Based on the results of both blood and urine determination at the first day aftert kidney transplantation, we discovered 2 patients slightly decreased sodium in blood, one displayed hypokalemia,2 patients showed slightly hyperkalemia value than normal referance level. Meanwhile, all patients manifested blood chlorate value between 101?4. Besides, another 7 patients had slightly increased blood suger value. However, no hypernatremia, hypocalcia or hypomagnesemia were found. As a result, all specific gravity ratio value were from 1.010 to 1.015 aparting from hemobilinuria existed in some patients. Conclusion The succesessful use of the new fluid-supplement therapy could effectively avoid unnecessary repeated haemospasia analysis for mornitoring and adjusting the balance of electrolyte, which could remarkably simplify and faciliate the postoperative management of renal transplantation.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2011;19(1):7-11
Objective To compare the influences of different routes of nutrition on the outcome and respiratory muscle strength of elderly patients in respiratory intensive care unit (RICU). Methods Totally 147 elderly patients in RICU were equally randomized into combined nutrition group ( combinination of parenteral nutrition and enteral nutrition), total enteral nutrition (EN) group, and total parenteral nutrition (PN) group. The changes of energy metabolism, respiratory muscle strength, and short-term outcome were observed or determined. Results Plasma albumin (ALB), hemoglobin (Hb), creatinine (Cr) levels, and nitrogen balance significantly increased in all group 7 days later ( all P < 0. 01 ), while blood urea nitrogen (BUN) significantly decreased ( P <0.01 ). The increase of ALB, Hb, Cr levels, and nitrogen balance were significantly more remarkable than that in EN group and PN group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The decrease of BUN level in the combined nutrition group was significantly more remarkable than that in EN group ( P < 0. 05 ). After nutritional support, the maximum inspiratory pressure in the combined nutrition group (P =0. 021 ) and EN group (P = 0. 011 ) became significantly higher, and occlusion pressure at 0.1 second inspiration level in the combined nutrition group became significantly lower ( P =0. 025). The incidences of infectious and non-infectious complications in PN group were significantly higher than those in EN group (P = 0. 002 and 0. 017, respectively) and combined nutrition group ( P = 0. 005 and 0. 004, respectively). Gastric retention was more common in EN group than that in PN group ( P = 0. 035). The weaning time, length of RICU stay, length of hospital stay and 20-day-mortality were significantly decreased in the combined nutrition group than those in the other two groups ( all P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion The effectiveness of the combined application of PN and EN is superior to PN or EN alone in improving nutritional status and respiratory muscle strength as well as in improving the short-term outcome in elderly patients in RICU..

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(07):-
AIM:To investigate the protective effects and mechanism of mesenchymal stem cells on renal tubule cells treated by cisplatin.METHODS:The mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)were separated from mouse bone marrow. The necrosis and apoptosis rate of renal tubule cells induced by cisplatin were detected by flow cytometry. After co-culture with MSCs,the above changes of renal tubule cells were detected.RESULTS:In co-culture system, the apoptotic rates of renal tubule cell were decreased obviously and the cell number increased obviously.CONCLUSION:The MSCs protect the renal tubule cells from apoptosis induced by cisplatin. This effect may be related with the paracrine effects of MSCs.
9.Endocrine glands-derived-vascular endothelial growth factor and tumor
China Oncology 2001;0(02):-
The review is focused on the development and recent research of the first tissue-specific angiogenic molecule, endocrine gland-derived vascular endothelial growth factor(EG-VEGF).It has been found that EG-VEGF only targeted on steroidgenic endocrine organs or cells through G-protein coupled receptor, the phosphorylation of G-protein coupled receptor could activate mitogen-activated protein kinase p44/42 and phosphatidylinositol-3 kinase(PI3K) pathways signal transdution. There are many reports that believes MAPK and PI3K is involved in the regulation of proliferation, migration, survival of endothelial cells and tumor angiogenesis,so EG-VEGF may serve as a potential target for antiangiogenic therapy of cancer in the future.
