Objective To investigate perinatal outcomes of twin pregnancy. Methods Perinatal outcomes of 658 pregnancies with twins hospitalized and born at Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital during 2002 to 2005 were retrospective analyzed to compare the influence of type of twin, delivery mode, gestational week, birth time interval between twins,as well as specific complications of twin pregnancies on their outcomes. Results Pefinatal fatality of monzygous twins was 53.69 per thousand(16/298),higher than that of dizygous twins(27.11 per thousand,9/332),with U=2.35,P0.05.Perinatal fatality was higher in twins with different development (birth weight).Perinatal fatality in dizygous twins(12.5 percent,2/16)was lower than that in monozygous ones(14.3 percent,6/42),and that in twins with different development(birth weight)(0.6 percent, 2/316)was lower than that with same development(1.2 percent,3/256),with ?~2=16.944,P

Aim To observe the effects of cytokine signaling inhibition protein-3(SOCS3) on the liver fibrosis progression and reverse. Methods C57BL/6 mouse model was established by subcutaneous injection of carbon tetrachloride(CCl4).After a successful model of fibrosis, one-month normal diet was given to induce the reverse fibrosis model, while normal mice of the same gender and weight were as control group.Mice were sacrificed at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 weeks, respectively, then the liver tissue was harvested for the observation of its injury by hematoxylin and eosin(HE) staining. Then Masson staining was applied for the detection of changes in collagen, and the immunohistochemistry(IHC) for the observation of type Ⅰ Collagen(Colla-1), alpha smooth muscle actin(α-SMA), transforming growth factor beta 1(TGF-β1) and SOCS3 protein expression. In vitro formation of fibrosis was induced by TGF-β1 stimulating HSC-T6 cell lines, which was then reversed by MDI medium, with co-incubation of HSC-T6 cells with plasmid in the process of the reverse.Western blot was employed to detect SOCS3, Colla-1, α-SMA, TGF-β1 expression. Results The expression of SOCS3 and TGF-β1 increased in mouse model of fibrosis with the worsening fibrosis process and decreased in the reverse process.Over-expression SOCS3 in the reverse process reduced the development of liver fibrosis;meanwhile, the expression of TGF-β1 was also reduced accordingly. Conclusion SOCS3 may influence the development of the liver fibrosis and its reverse via regulating the expression of TGF-β1.

Objective To prepare the immunoconjugate composed of Adriamycin nanoparticles and VEGFR 2 monoclonal antibody(conjugate of ADM-NP and VEGFR 2-MAb) and study its pharmacokinetics property. Methods Adriamycin nanoparticles were prepared by using double emulsion method, with PLA and O-CMC as materials. Conjugate of ADM-NP and VEGFR 2-MAb was prepared by using molecule conjugate technology. Immunoreactivity of the conjugate with type IV collagenase and H 22 cell were analyzed by using ELISA. Pharmacokinetics parameters of the immunoconjugate were obtained by using SD rats as study objects. Results The prepared ADM-NP was sphere particles under SEM, which diameters were (160±34) nm. The drug loading rate and entrapment rate were (30.15±3.5)% and (80.56±4.24)% respectively. Conjugate of ADM-NP and VEGFR 2-MAb was successfully prepared, which had immunoreactivity with type IV collagenase and H 22 cell. The immunoconjugate showed good ADM control-release ability and could prolong the retention time of ADM in vivo. Conclusion Conjugate of ADM-NP and VEGFR 2-MAb keeps the immunoreactivity of VEGFR 2-MAb and shows good ADM control-release ability.

Objective To investigate the clinical and renal pathological features in the new rat model induced by anti-human podocyte-protein antibody. Methods The rat model was induced by once intravenous injection of rabbit anti-human podocyte-protein antiserum which was prepared at first. Male Sprague-Dawley rats (n=36) were randomly divided into six groups (6rats in each group): control group (CG), the time points of day 7 group (D7), day 14 group (D14),day 21 group (D21) and day 28 (D28) group after antiserum injection, and day 28 group after the normal rabbit serum injection (NRG). The level of 24 hour proteinuria, the clearance of creatinine, albumin, blood urea nitrogen, triglyceride, cholesterol and serum creatinine were measured. The renal morphology was detected under the light microscope, immunofluorescence microscope, and electron microscope. Results 24-hour proteinuria (mg) was gradually increased, and the level of proteinuria in D28 (48.56±13.80) was significantly higher than that in CG (5.34±2.77, P<0.01)and NRG (11.32±4.90, P<0.01). The clearance of creatinine (ml/min) and serum creatinine (μmol/L) in D28 (0.90±0.47, 33.48±9.94) were significantly different from CG (1.68±0.54, P<0.05;26.03±2.67, P<0.05), but showed no difference with NRG (1.34±0.87, P>0.05; 27.40±4.73, P>0.05). The level of albumin (g/L) was lower in D7, D14, D21, D28 (28.20±0.87, 27.80±1.97,27.42±1.66, 27.77±1.95) than CG (29.98±0.76, P<0.05). But there was no difference in the level of albumin among the groups after antiserum injection and NRG (28.68±1.18, P>0.05). The level of blood urea nitrogen, triglyceride, cholesterol showed no difference among the groups (P>0.05). The renal morphology showed no obvious changes between CG and NRG. Among the groups after antiserum injection, the renal pathological changes under the light microscope were some spikes formation in D28. Immunostained for rabbit IgG in rat glomeruli progressively decreased over the 28 days, while rat IgG progressively increased. The renal section deposition for rat complement 3 reached a maximum at day 21 then decreased afterward. Under the electron microscope, there were immune complexes and foot process fusion at day 14. Conclusions The new rat model induced by anti-human podocyte-protein antibody showing typically clinical and pathological changes of the membranous nephropathy is successfully established.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2005;29(5):325-327
In this paper, a syntactic pattern recognition method of the detection of pulse wave's characteristic information is introduced. According to it, the pressure signal of pulse is measured by non-invasive diagnostic method. Then, the elementary abstracting system transfers it into an input pattern. The recognizer, constructed by Earley algorithm, recognizes the pulse wave's pattern. On the base of it, the pulse wave's characteristic information can be got. Thus, the expert system will make a diagnosis with the information. The experiment result shows that, the new method is of anti-interference, preciseness and intelligence, and it provides an advanced, practical and intelligent means for the pulse diagnostic system.

Objective:To observe the efficacy of cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells on patients with advanced lung cancer. Methods:A total of 90 patients with advanced lung cancer were identified from January 2011 to December 2013. CIK therapy was given to 41 pa-tients in the observation group, whereas the other 49 patients in the control group received the best support treatments without che-motherapy or radiotherapy within one month of inclusion. Following up was conducted for the patients in the two groups, and KPS scores, median survival, and adverse reactions compared. Results:The KPS score in the observation group was higher than that of the control group after treatment (P=0.034). The median survival period of the observation group was eight months, which was one month longer than that of the control group (P=0.044). Major adverse reactions included fever, joint pain, and insomnia, which were recorded 51.22%, 36.58%, and 29.27%of occurrence, respectively. Conclusion:CIK cell therapy improved the quality of life and pro-longed the survival of advanced lung cancer patients with tolerable adverse reactions.
