1.Nosocomial Infection in Psychiatry Department: A Clinical Investigation and Analysis
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 1994;0(01):-
OBJECTIVE To explore the incidence of the nosocomial infection in patients with mental diseases,(analyze) the correlative factors and then reduce the incidence.(METHODS) By using the retrospective method, the(inpatient) cases in psychiatry department from Jan 2000 to Dec 2004 were surveyed and statistically analyzed.(RESULTS) There were 313 cases of nosocomial infection from 9 089 inpatients with mental diseases. The infection rate was(3.44%.) The total rate had been dropped year by year. The major sites of the infection were the(upper)(respiratory) tract(34.82%),the gastrointestinal tract(20.45%) and the urinary system(18.53%).The(infection) rate in ladies patient area(3.83%) was significantly higher than that of gentlemen patient area(3.07%)(P

BACKGROUND:The cytokine has an effect of immunoregulation and immediate induction in the reconstruction of periodontal tissue. At present, the role and mechanism of hepatocyte growth factor involving the reconstruction of periodontal tissue under orthodontic force are stil unclear.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the mechanism underlying hepatocyte growth factor in the tooth movement and periodontal tissues remodeling under the inflammation periodontal tissue condition.
METHODS:Thirty Sprague-Dawley rats, aged 8 weeks, were used to establish periodontitis model. The obtained model was randomly divided into two groups:inflammatory control group and inflammatory force group. In the force group, rats were treated with the fixed orthodontic appliance by 50 g forces in the maxil ary first molars. After 1, 3, 5, 7 and 14 days of tooth movement, five rats were sacrificed respectively. Hematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemistry methods were used to analyze the expression and distribution of hepatocyte growth factor in the periodontium for rats at different tooth movement stages.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Hematoxylin-eosin staining results showed that, remodeling of periodontal tissues existed in al groups. (2) The immunohistochemical results showed that hepatocyte growth factor had positive expression in periodontal tissue, and the distribution was even in the control group. In the force group, hepatocyte growth factor expression was increased and reached the peak on day 5, then began to decline. Osteoblast, fibroblast and osteoclast were strongly expressed. The findings indicate that, hepatocyte growth factor is involved in the periodontal tissues remodeling under orthodontic force, and inflammation can increase the expression of hepatocyte growth factor in periodontal tissue.

6.The progress in the study for the risk factor of dental fluorosis
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2001;20(2):151-153
The risk factor of dental fluorosis are mainly related to the cancen tration of fluoride in the drinking water, the supplements of fluoride, nutrition states and regime, the time of fluoride exposure.Other factor such as the period of mother's milk feeding, the altitude of resident, the environmental pollution, the education degree of parents, and the level of health service of the community are also contributed to the development of dental fluorosis.Besides, the knowledge of dentists, the health habits of individual, the condition of economic, and so on is somehow the risk factor of dental fluorosis. The chances of fluoride exposure will become more often as the prosperous of the society. Thus any health policy of the complement of fluoride should be adapted to local conditions.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2015;(5):539-542
MicroRNAs ( miRNAs) are small noncoding RNAs that post transcriptionally regulate the gene expression , involving in the process of growth , development , aging and death of organisms .It has been demonstrated that miRNAs were associated with the structure and function of blood vessels and heart , involving in the aging process of blood vessels and cardiomyocytes .For example , miR-29, miR-34a, miR-217, miR-146a may participate in the regulation of aging blood vessels;miR-21, miR-22, miR-18, miR-19 may emerge as the regulators of aging cardiomyocytes .These miRNAs may function as the novel biomarkers for the cardiovascular ag-ing.This article reviews the current studies on miRNA and cardiovascular aging .
