Objective To understand the clinical characteristics and susceptible factors of neonatal nosocomial infection in primary hospital, and discuss the control measures in order to effectively reduce the neonatal nosocomial infection rate. Methods A retrospective analysis about clinical characteristics and susceptible factors of neonatal nosocomial infection was carried out from October 2010 to September 2012.Results Premature rupture of fetal membranes, premature infant, low birth weight, invasive operation were high risk factors for nosocomial infection.Infection most often occurred in respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue. Conclusions Neonatal nosocomial infection is influenced by many factors,in which the awareness of prevention and control among the medical staff, the aseptic operation, hand hygiene compliance, the ward disinfection management level and education during the pregnancy are crucial, which are the key link in the control of neonatal nosocomial infection.

Objective To evaluate if the enteral nutrition have effect on the immune function and in- flammatory reaction after operating about gastric carcinoma. Methods 58 postoperative patients suffering from stomach cancer and colon cancer were randomly divided into the EN group and the TPN group. On the first postoperative day, nutrition fibre were given via nasal intestinal tube, increasing the capacity and drop- ping speed day by day until patients can eat liquid diet. While patients in the TPN group didn't eat anything until enterokinesia completely recovered.Observing on preoperative day 1 and on postoperative day 3 and day 8 respectively to check IgA,IgG,IgM,C3,C4,CRP,LYM,LYM%,TP,ALB,PA.Results The results showed that on the postoperative day 8,the target ascension extent was higher than that in the PN group. The statistical significance was very obvious(P

Objective To investigate the influence of CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells (Tregs) on the disease progression in MRL/lps mice. Methods Tregs were separated by using magnetic beads from splenic cells of MRL/lps mice and BALB/c mice, and concentrated. Twenty-four MRLAps mice were equally divided into 3 groups, test group 1 injected with Tregs from MRL/lps mice, test group 2 injected with Tregs from BALB/c mice, and control group injected with physiological sodium chloride solution. Three weeks later, the levels of urine protein as well as serum anti-dsDNA antibody were determined; subsequently, the mice were sacrificed followed by histopathological and immunopathological examination of renal tissue. Results A significant decline was observed in the test group 1 compared with the test group 2 and control group in the urine protein score (10.63 ± 4.17 vs. 20.00 ± 5.35 and 18.75 ± 8.34, both P < 0.05), serum anti-dsDNA antibody level (5.36 ± 2.40 pg/ml vs. 9.57 ± 1.97 pg/ml and 10.75 ± 3.98 pg/ml, both P < 0.05), glomerular sclerosis index [(32.00 ± 12.09)% vs. (45.50 ± 13.68)% and (47.50 ± 10.78)%, both P< 0.05], and immunofluorescence intensity of IgG immune complex in renal tissue (1.88 ± 0.99 vs. 2.88 ± 0.64 and 2.75 ± 0.71, both P< 0.05). No significant difference was noted in renal tubule interstitial impairment index between the 3 groups (4.63 ± 1.92, 6.00 ± 1.07 and 5.75 ± 1.28, all P> 0.05). There was no statistical difference between the test group 2 and control group in terms of any of the above parameters (all P > 0.05). Conclusions Injection of Tregs from homologous mice could significantly down-regulate proteinuria degree, serum anti-dsDNA antibody level, glomerular sclerosis index and IgG immune complex level in renal tissue, and thereby decelerate the progression of renal impairment in MRL/lps mice.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate a expanded reverse island flap with a saphenous neuro-vascular pedicle for repairing the defects of the feet and ankles.
METHODSAn expanded reverse island skin flap, with the Six saphenous neuro-vascular pedicle, was designed to repair the skin defects on the feet and ankles.
RESULTSpatients with the defects of the feet and ankles were treated with the expanded saphenous island flap and all of the The expanded reversed island skin flaps were survived. The largest flap size was 12 cm x 10 cm.
CONCLUSIONSflap could be a good option for repairing the defects of the feet and ankles.

The fibrosis can occur in many kinds of organs, and its sustained progress may lead to organ structural damage and functional decline, and even the organ failure, which threatens the human health and the life seriously.Adenosine is an endogenous purine nucleoside that can be generated in various tissues of the body and regulate a multitude of body functions via the combina-tion with four different kinds of G protein-coupled receptors.Re-cent studies have found that adenosine receptors play an impor-tant role in regeneration tissue and fibrosis process. To under-stand the processes may be helpful to the treatment of fibrosis diseases. This review makes a summary on latest research pro-gress of adenosine receptors in fibrosis diseases.

Objective To explore the features of transsphenoidal microsurgical treatment of male pro- lactinoma and to evaluate the sexual function before and after transsphenoidal microsurgery. Methods A se- ries of 23 cases male prolactinoma were analysed combined with retrospective and prospective study.9 casese with sexual disfunction had finished the International Index of Erectile Function with 15-item questionnnaire (ⅡEF-15) before and after the surgery. Results 8/10 cases treated with dopaminergic agonist combined with surgery achieved complete remission, while only 4/13 cases achieved complete remission with surgery on- ly(x~2=5.490,P=0.036).Aecoding toⅡEF-15,sexual function improved after surgery in 9 cases(paired- sample) t test,P<0.05).Conclusion Transsphenoidal microsurgical treatment of prolactinoma may im- prove the male sexual functions.Dopaminergic agonist combined transsphenoidal microsurgery may achieve a better outcome.

BACKGROUND:Currently, human umbilical cord derived-mesenchymal stem cel s are mainly for local transplantation, which has some shortcomings, such as large trauma, bleeding, complications, that limit its widespread application in clinical practice. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the feasibility of intravenous transplantation of human umbilical cord derived-mesenchymal stem cel s for repair of spinal cord injury. METHODS:Eighty Wistar rats with spinal cord hitting were divided into five groups:blank control group with no transplantation (n=10), DMEM local transplantation group (n=15), DMEM intravenous transplantation group (n=15), cel local transplantation group (n=20), cel intravenous transplantation group (n=20). The functional recovery of spinal cord injury was observed with Basso, Beattie and Bresnahan scores at regular time as wel as hematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemistry staining. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:During 1 day to 2 weeks after transplantation, there was no significant difference in the Basso, Beattie and Bresnahan scores between the five groups;within 4-12 weeks after transplantation, the Basso, Beattie and Bresnahan scores were significantly higher in the two cel transplantation groups than the other three groups, but there was no difference between these two cel transplantation groups (P>0.05). Histological observation showed that the number of voids and glial scars was less in the cel local transplantation group and cel intravenous transplantation group compared with the other three groups, and there was also no difference between the two cel transplantation groups. These results indicate that the intravenous transplantation of human umbilical cord derived-mesenchymal stem cel s is similar to the local transplantation in the repair of acute spinal cord injury, which is simple and avoids secondary injuries and various complications. It is recommended that this method provide a new approach for cel transplantation.
