2.Effects of aging on ventricular remodeling and cardiac rupture after acute myocardial infarction in mice

Objective To explore the effects of aging on ventricular remodeling and cardiac rupture after acute myocardial infarction in mice. Methods Male C57BL/6 mice of 3 months and 12 months old were randomly divided into sham operation group and myocardial infarction(MI)group.Following acute myocardial infarction(AMI)modeling induced by open-chest surgery,the events of cardiac rupture were monitored and the echocardiography and hemodynamics were performed on the 7th day after surgery.Zymography,immunohistochemical method and pathological staining were used to measure the activity of matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs),the content of collagen and the degree of inflammatory cell infiltration on the 3rd and 7th days after surgery,respectively. Results The incidence of cardiac rupture was higher in elderly group than that in young group(38.0% vs.16.0%,X2=6.139,P<0.05).Compared with young group,significant infarct expansion,left ventricular (LV)remodeling and hemodynamic deterioration were showed in elderly group on the 7th day after surgery(t=5.754,P<0.05).The degree of inflammatory cell infiltration and the expression of MMP-9 were significantly increased in elderly group on the 3rd day following AMI modeling(P<0.05),and the collagen content and the expression of type Ⅲ collagen were significantly increased (P<0.05)compared with young group. Conclusions Aging is a risk factor for post-infarct cardiac rupture in the mice model.The mechanisms which are responsible for this age-related difference of cardiac rupture are related to increasing degree of inflammatory cell infiltration, overexpression of MMP-9 and type Ⅲ collagen and aggravated early LV remodeling.
3.Reflections on the calculation methods of the imbalance degree in the biophysical properties of meridian points

Objective: To analyze and compare the features and strengths of different methods for calculating the biophysical properties of meridian points, and thus propose corresponding suggestions to fully achieve the research and application value of biophysical properties of meridian points.Methods: We searched and collected the literature on the imbalance of biophysical properties of meridian points between January 1, 2005 and March 1, 2020 in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Academic Journal Full-text Database (Wanfang), Chongqing VIP Database (CQVIP) and PubMed database, and then analyzed, compared, and summarized the applied methods for calculating the imbalance degree of the biophysical properties of meridian points. Results: The current methods for calculating the imbalance degree of the biophysical properties of meridian points are diverse and can be summarized as the following three: direct comparison of the measured values of the left and right namesake points, difference method, and ratio method. The low uniformity of the calculation methods has limited the promotion and application of its research results. Conclusion: In future research on the biophysical properties of meridian points, multidisciplinary cooperation in terms of imbalance degree calculation methods, detection instruments, and health data models is necessary to achieve more widely applicable scientific conclusions and more generalized experimental results.
4.The alkaline phosphatase analysis of 40 children with cerebral palsy

ObjectiveTo explore the relations between the alkaline phosphatase(ALP) and the type of cerebral palsy. MethodsThe ALP level of 40 children with different types of cerebral palsy were examined with the Olympus AU-600 apparatus. ResultsThe ALP value of the children with spastic cerebral palsy is normal. The ALP value of the children with athetoid cerebral palsy is higher than spastic cerebral palsy(P<0.001).Conclusions The ALP value can help us to identify the type of cerebral palsy.
5.Related Factors of Stress of Parents of Children with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism: A Comparative Study

Objective To study the related factors of stress of parents of children with intellectual disabilities and autism. Methods 45 parents of children with intellectual disabilities and 45 with autism were surveyed. Results and Conclusion The stress level was very high in the parents of both 2 kinds of children, especially in the parents with autism children (P<0.01). The stress level of parents of both 2 kinds of children correlated positively with the level of disability, and correlated negatively with the family income.

When the glomerular mesangial cells of rats were cultured in vitro at high glucose concentration,the activity of extraeellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK),the expression of transforming growth factor-?_1(TGF-?_1)mRNA and the content of typeⅣcollagen in the supematant were higher than those at normal glucose concentration.These effects were inhibited by fluvastatin.The results showed that the activation of ERK signal transduction pathways appeared to play a role in the onset and progression of diabetic nephropathy. Furthermore,fluvastatin could protect the kidney by inhibiting ERK signal transduction pathway and TGF-?_1 expression.
7.Investigation and analysis on health promotion lifestyle of patients with Coronary Heart Disease

Objective To investigate health promotion lifestyle of patients with Coronary Heart Disease and explore the correlation between background data and healty lifestyle. Methods Two hundred and eighty-two patients were conveniently investigated from a three levels hospital. Results The patients' health-promoting lifestyle scores were (125.09 ±24.722), 60.6% had unhealthy lifestyle. The patients with different age were significant in terms of healthy lifestyle (t = 0. 993, P = 0. 049). Conclusions Health responsibility and physical activity are the main factors influencing nhealthy lifestyle of patients with Coronary Heart Disease, which should be focused on by nurses. The younger patients are the group who should be given the special health education.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic advantage of the ratio of ligamentum flavum(LF) thickness to oblique canal diameter(TODR)measured on CT images in patients with lumbar canal stenosis. Methods Seventy-one patients underwent CT and MRI examinations respectively,and they were divided into two groups,the positive group and negative group,according to the presence or absence of dural sac notch caused by the LF on bilateral parasagittal MR images.Meanwhile,50 volunteers without any symptom in the lumbar region or legs were examined by CT.TODRs were measured at the L3—S1 levels of the inferior margin of the intervertebral disc on transverse CT images,respectively.The results were further analyzed with the positive findings on MR images,clinical symptoms and physical examination,so as to find out the statistical correlation between them.Results LF thickness was(3.01?0.72)mm and TODR was 0.19?0.04 in the negative group,(3.94?0.84)mm and 0.28+0.06 in the positive group,and(3.16? 0.85)mm and 0.19?0.04 in the control group.There was significant difference between positive group and negative group or control group for LF thickness(P0.24, the sensitivity,specificity and positive predictive value were 74.8%,89.6% and 73.6% respectively. 10.Effects of electroacupuncture of low frequency on heroin-seeking behavior and FosB protein expression in relative brain regions.

OBJECTIVETo observe effects of electroacupuncture (EA) of low frequency on heroin-seeking behavior and FosB protein expression in relative brain regions so as to explore the mechanism of EA.
METHODSRat model of relapsing into heroin was established with progressive fixed ratio program, and model rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: a "Sanyinjiao" needle-retention control group, a low frequency and weak EA group, and a low frequency and strong EA group. Heroin-seeking behavior was elicited by conditional clue and small dose of heroin; FosB protein expression was investigated with immunohistochemical technique.
RESULTSAfter treatment, the heroin-seeking behavior induced by conditional clue decreased in the needle-retention control group and the weak EA group, and the heroin-seeking behavior induced by small dose of heroin in the weak EA group significantly reduced as compared with the control group, and FosB protein expression in the nucleus accumbens septi, globus pallidus, basolateral amygdaloid nucleus significantly decreased in the weak EA group, and did not significantly change in the strong EA group; the activity induced by heroin increased as compared with those in the control group and the weak EA group.
CONCLUSIONEA of low frequency and low intensity can cure the heroin-seeking behavior, which is correlated with regulating nervous adaptation of nucleus accumbens septi, basolateral amygdaloid nucleus, etc..
