Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(7):83-85
Objective To investigate the effects of somatostatin combined with early enteral nutrition on inflammatory factors and intestinal permeability in patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP).Methods 70 patients with severe acute pancreatitis were randomly divided into the control group (35 cases) and the observation group (35 cases). The control group were given double somatostatin, the observation group were received double somatostatin combined with early enteral nutrition support. Before and after treatment in the two gorups, TNF-a and IL-1 levels were measured by ELISA;intestinal permeability index was indirect calculated by high performance liquid chromatography.Clinical curative effect and inflammatory factors and intestinal permeability were compared in the two groups. Results Seven days after treatment, the secondary infection rate, operation rate and mortality in the observation were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05);before treatment, TNF-a and IL-1 level in the two groups had no significant difference;Seven days after treatment, TNF-a and IL-1 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05);seven days after treatment, blood lactate levels in the observation group was higher than that in the control group and diamineoxidase was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Double somatostatin combined with early enteral nutrition support can improve inflammatory factors and intestinal permeability in patients with severe acute pancreatitis, and is worthy of popularization and application.

Objective To investigate the clinical and laboratory diagnosis of adult hemophagocytic syn-drome (HPS) . Methods Clinical data of 24 patients with HPS from 2000 to 2008 were retrospectively analyzed. Results Of the 24 HPS cases, 12 had a malignant associated hemophagocytic syndrome (MHAS), and 10 were fi-nally diagnosed by bone marrow immunohistochemist ;Of 12 cases in non-MAHS group,4 were with virus associated hemophagocytic syndrome (VAHS), and 4 were of the other infections, whereas 4 patients diagnosed of immune associated HS (MAS). There were significant difference in onset age, mortality, serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and serum ferritin(FER) and neutrophilic NAP between non-MAHS group and MAHS group(P <0.01 ,P<0.05). In all cases bone marrow biopsy showed significant differences in cytological and pathological features between MAHS group and non-MAHS group. Conclusion Etiology, immunology, and bone marrow cell biopsy and pathology as well contribute to the diagnosis and typing of HPS and will give a guide to the therapy.

OBJECTIVETo detect the changes of the expression of Bax and Bcl-2 gene in the denervated testis, and to explore the possible mechanisms underlying the apoptosis of germ cells induced by testicular denervation at the genetic translation level.
METHODSEighteen mature SD rats (350-375 g) were equally divided into 3 groups: a sham operation group( SO) , a superior spermatic nerve group (SSN) and an inferior spermatic nerve group (ISN) , and the latter two received bilateral surgical removal of the superior spermatic nerve and the inferior spermatic nerve, respectively. The animals were killed I month after the operation. ISH SP-method was used to detect the expression of Bax and Bcl-2 protein.
RESULTSSignificant up-regulation of Bax protein was detected in both the treatment groups 1 month after surgery( P <0. 05) , and the level of Bcl-2 protein remained unchanged.
CONCLUSIONBax gene is involved in the apoptosis of germ cells induced by testicular denervation.

Objective To analyze the genetic phenotypes of Nantong Han population and evaluate the application value of 17 Y-STR loci in Nantong population. Methods The peripheral blood samples were collected from 343 unrelated Nantong Han males and the genomic DNA were extracted by Chelex-100 method.Genotyping was performed using the AmpF(l)STR YfilerTM Kit.The results were compared with other 12 Han populations, including Anhui,Jiangsu,Jiangxi,Shandong,Shanghai,Zhejiang (1),Lanzhou,Nanyang,Luzhou,Mudanjiang,Shanxi and Zhejiang (2),and 9 minority populations (Mongol,Xibe,Tibetan in Lhasa,Tibetan in Qinghai,Kazak,Uighur,Manchu,Paiwan in Taiwan and Tujia). Results A total of 327 different haplotypes were found in 17 Y-STR loci in Nantong Han population. The haplotype diversity (HD) was 0.999 7.The R,value between Nantong Han and other Chinese populations ranged from-0.000 6 to 0.263 5.The multidimensional scaling results showed that Nantong Han population had no significant differences between most of the Han populations, but had significant differences between most of Chinese minority populations. Conclusion Seventeen Y-STR loci can be a powerful tool for forensic application because of its high polymorphism in Nantong Han population.

Secondary development of Chinese Patent Medicine (CPM) is an effective and innovation-driven way for the leaping development of Chinese medicine industry with less investment and faster return. Aim to improving the efficacy, safety and batch-to-batch consistency of CPMs, the theory and methodology for the secondary development of CPMs, mode for cultivating superior CPM, approaches to reforming the pharmaceutical technology and the corresponding core technologies were proposed in this paper, which is summarized as 'One objective, Three analyses, Five definitudes and Seven improvements'.

At present,China has issued a series of standards relating to traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). The standard system has already taken shape, but there are still some problems, such as incomplete standard system, low standard quality, inadequate application, insufficient study strength and lack of talent. This paper makes a detailed analysis of current management and development of standardization of traditional Chinese medicine in the aspects of " management mechanism and system construction" and " standards".The problems existing in the standardization of TCM are analyzed in three aspects: quality and popularization, standard research and talent reserve. At the same time, some suggestions are put forward to solve the problems. First,we shall strengthen the management of top-level design; second,we shall guide the transformation of high-quality scientific and technological achievements to standards;third,we shall consolidate the basic research of standardization of TCM; fourth,we shall focus on cultivating standardized technical talents; and fifth,we shall strengthen the standard research and development work in key fields.
